FReferencing other reviews on Agape, I see a potential theme and would also like to share my recent experience. I sent a detailed request to Agape to obtain an estimate to remodel our house which included many minor items as well as some major items such as our kitchen, 3 bathrooms, modifying an interior wall, and painting the entire interior from top to bottom. I conveyed that we were wanting a good looking, great quality job that was durable and built to last (all permitting done and inspections performed etc.). I also conveyed that we were not looking for a high-end luxury remodel. The request was sent via email late at night on a Saturday, and prior to 8 a.m. on Monday morning I received a response (which was courteous) explaining that it was more than what they were willing to take on right now. I replied that we were in no hurry and that the project could be broken up into phases and completed over the course of a year or more. I also explained that if there were certain pieces that they would prefer to do, I was also open to that. The return reply said that what I was trying to do was “not a good fit for them". They did not attempt to ask questions or to seek out any additional information to obtain a better understanding of what we wanted. I replied that everything they list on their website and illustrate with their photos is right in line with what we were wanting to do. No reply was given. So my take away from this is that I don’t really know why our business was rejected. I first received one explanation (i.e. it was more than they were willing to take on) and then a second (i.e. that I am not a good fit). Honestly I do not understand how either explanation could be true given that everything I described is exactly what is listed on their website, and we were willing to spread out the work to accommodate their schedule. Without a third explanation for the reason to decline our business (which they can run their business however they want and do not owe me an explanation), I can only equate this to a perceived lack of profitability. From my estimation, what we are wanting to do would easily land in the ballpark of $40,000 to $60,000, and possibly more. In short, if you are wanting a good looking, great quality job that is durable and built to last vs. a high-end luxury remodel, then do not be surprised if Agape is not the best fit for you. Any business can pick and choose the projects they want to take on for whatever internal reasons, but they need to be straightforward in how they deal with people. That was not the case with me. I have read some “smooth” replies from Agape on other less-than-favorable reviews, but everything I have stated above is backed by supporting documentation.- Kyle R.

AThe project went very well. (1) Sales: James was low-key, straightforward, and collaborative without any of the distasteful and high-pressure tactics of some window salesmen. (2) Installation: Scott and his coworker were professional and punctual, demonstrated a high skill level, and stayed on schedule. I had anticipated significant disruption and mess, but they took great care to minimize that and to clean up each day. They fitted each new window so carefully that I did not have to do any touchup painting. (3) Post-project followup: When I noticed a hole in one screen a few weeks later, owner Mark immediately scheduled someone to come out and fix it (under warranty), no questions asked. (4) Overall: We are pleased with the windows and have recommended this company to at least one longtime friend.- John R.

BMy wife and I could not be happier, They put in 18 windows and painted the hole house for about 3 grand less then any estimate we got on windows alone! It was like getting a free paint job. The guys doing the windows as wells the guys on the paint crew, were professional and paid great attention detail.- Chris E.

AWe are impressed with how great this company is to work with. They showed up when they said they would, They did their work with proficiency, and all in one day. The installers are personable, well-mannered, great communicators, and fast workers. They were mindful to guard our floors as they worked, which we very much appreciated. On the door install, we were initially not happy with the outcome (with the new install we had to step up, over the threshold and we wanted it more flush with the floor.) Within two days they made it right. Within just a few hours they reinstalled the door exactly the way we wanted it. Customer satisfaction is top priority for this company. During the initial meeting, Chris Simmons worked with us to ensure we were ordering exactly the product we needed. The six windows that were replaced are south-facing. The old windows allowed glaring bright light and heat to infiltrate the room, in summer, and in winter, did not insulate against the cold, yet we still had the glaring light. The new (tinted) windows look beautiful, cast a more soothing light into the room, and insulate very well. We paid a fair price for great work and quality replacements. We are very pleased with this company and would hire them again.- Deborah G.

AFrom the first call to inquire for services, this team was excellent. Very responsive; I had an estimate on the phone, which was confirmed within the week. I scheduled the work out a few weeks. I had a reminder call the day before service was performed and the team showed up right on time. They were courteous, quick, and cleaned up beautifully when done. I couldn't be happier!- christina e.

FSomeone can out, quoted me a fee and asked for a 50% deposit and that they would be back the next day. I got a call after noon the next day which I was told they would come in the morning before noon but called said the windows was not ready yet but they would come the next day, no one called and all of there numbers have been disconnected.- Michael E.

DWhile cleaning my exterior windows, they apparently created a crater in my shrub. Also, the window that was replaced leaked within a few months during a rain storm. They were willing to credit me for the destroyed shrub and came out to seal the leaking window. When I called this year to replace another window, the guy cancelled the day before our appointment. I tried twice more to reschedule the appointment to get an estimate, but I never got a call back. I have since then used another window company.- Andy V.
