    R & D CONCRETE & MASONRY
The wall looks terrific. Rudy MacDonald helped us with the choice of stone and then took me to see a very similar job he had done a few years ago with the same stone. Rudy's crew members were great. Rudy was there through every step of the process, both guiding the crew and doing much of the work himself. He is a contractor to call on if you want a job done right. They did a nice job cleaning up after the work was complete. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

    Felix Tree and Landscape Service
Punctual on initial visit for reviewing work and reasonable price. Punctual in performing work with total of three individuals; work performed as required; branches and twigs removed in 'chipper'; cleaned up general work area very well. Removed some other tree limbs when requested by me at no additional cost. Work done very quickly about 1 1/2 hours and very efficiently. I am very happy with result.

    2 GUYS & A GOAT LAWN SERVICE
I needed leaves bagged and placed on the curb for pickup. I have back problems and was not able to do this. It had rained the day before this company arrived to do the work, so the leaves were wet and heavy. They used 45 kitchen type plastic bags and instead of taking them to the curb for pickup, they stacked them along the fence by my detached garage. No one was home when they did the work and this on our trash pickup day. I came home around 3:00 and the truck for trash pickup was in our neighborhood and I had to carry 45 bags of wet leaves to the curb in about 10 minutes. So much for trying to protect my back. Very disappointed in this company and would not recommend them to anyone.

    Bryant Lawn & Sprinkler
BEWARE of this company. Used them for landscaping and sprinklers on my properties. They were friendly and informative and responsive at first. My husband was very impressed with their customer service and supposed knowledge. We have spent about $26,000 with them. It turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes. 1. Workers took a trencher and completely severed two of our main water discharge pipes. Then covered one of them with duct tape. Covered both with dirt and said nothing. We found it a year later after looking for the leak the entire time. Beams rotted under the house, floor buckled, walls shifted, no doors closed. We have to redo everything. 2. They also covered one of the water catch basins with sod 3. AND they buried one of their own live sprinkler heads so even more water was getting under our house. James Bryant came out and acknowledged fault and diverted us to his insurance company. We were compensated for the huge amount of damages after about a 3 month long battle with the insurance company with zero help from Bryant. We have considered scrapping the house and building from scratch because of the damage that this company has done to our newly remodeled home. What a disaster. Just dont do it!!

    Burris Tree Service
We had Burris Tree Service trim our large pecan tree and a smaller cypress tree. The bid was very quick and reasonable and the tree trimming service done was great. They were very clean and even stacked some of the pecan wood for me under the tree. I definitely plan to use them again when my trees need trimming

    TreeTop Tree Service
I used Tree Top 2-3X since 2015 and used to love the company. Ed would routinely come out and have a quick chat and he'd always provide me with a reasonable quote. This past experience I was met with a new sales rep named Jeremiah. I definately did not get the Ed experience. He showed up and acted seemingly annoyed to be there. He then provided me a quote that was almost DOUBLE what they used to charge. I have attached a copy of the invoice from 2017 compared to 2019 (exact same trimming for exact same set of trees) It cost $432 compared to the new invoice of $850. I have a feeling it is under new ownership or management and I'd stay away. I ended up going with Sosa Tree Service and they provided me a quote that was the same as 2017 (with a little bit added on for inflation which i was ok with).

    Sosa Tree Svc
I found through Angies and gave them a call on a Thursday morning. Frank came out that afternoon and did a quick walk through of what needed to be done. He told me his guys would be out Monday at 8:30AM and they showed up on time and make quick work of the job in about 2 hours. Great overall experience and would hire again.

    AJ's Housekeeping & Lawn
Juan and his crew did an excellent job of cleaning up my very overgrown front yard landscaping and trimming a small tree, a couple of crepe myrtles and 2 topiaries. They came by to estimate the work and did the job that evening. I was so impressed, I had them come back the next day to remove some dead shrubs and then a few days later to plan replacements. Juan and his crew were always on time and worked with speed and quality. Would definitely hire again.

    Allied Outdoor Solutions
If you are looking for a first-rate company to transform your outdoor space into an oasis, look no further than Allied Outdoor Solutions. They are customer-centric and employ team members that are ethical, highly skilled at their craft and dependable. We removed an in-ground spa and the surrounding decking, leaving us with about 300 SF of dirt in our backyard. We tried without success for over 9 months to find a reputable contractor to come out and prepare a bid either for stamped concrete or pavers. Finally, I expanded our search area and thats where we found Allieds website. After researching pavers vs. stamped concrete, we decided to go with pavers. On February 28, I filled out a contact me form on their website. The local Allied office contacted me on March 1 and we made an appointment for March 2 to meet with Brent, our Project Consultant. We finally found a company that was responsive and actually seemed interested in earning our business. We met with Brent on March 2 and found him to be knowledgeable and helpful, making suggestions to include 3 drains in the area to be covered with pavers. He quoted us a price on the spot, one that was within the budget parameters we had set for this project. We signed a contract and put down a 20% deposit. Brent indicated they were about 3 weeks out schedule-wise, and we would be contacted to set up a meeting with our Project Manager. On March 6, we were contacted by Allied and scheduled an appointment to meet our Project Manager, Carlos Flores, on March 19th at 8 am. Carlos took detailed notes and measurements and finalized the contract, save for our selection of paver stones and the composition of our seating wall. Brent contacted us on March 21st with the name and location of the company in Dallas where we could go to pick out our materials (Jewell and Stone). Thats where we hit our first pothole. We spent over 1 hour thereon March 25th and left with more questions than answers. In hindsight, we should have insisted that Brent meet us there to guide us through the selection process. My wife called Brent and they selected materials during that call. Carlos contacted us on April 1st to confirm our selection of materials. Allieds schedule called on April 3 to inform us the start date would be April 15 and she called again on April 12th to confirm it. Jeremy and Javier showed up on the morning of April 15th as promised. The dedicated team worked well together and finished the job on April 19, which was important as we were leaving early on April 20th and did not return until April 28th. We were home for heavy rains that occurred May 2nd and noticed a drainage problem in a circle we had cut in the pavers for a future fire pit. I texted Carlos with a picture of the problem and he got back to me within 2 hours with a pledge to fix it as promptly as possible. Now, keep in mind we had already paid Allied in full for the balance due on the project. Other companies are not real responsive after theyve been paid. To their credit, Allied WAS responsive. Carlos contacted me again on May 6 and scheduled a visit on May 10th to determine what would be needed to fix the issue. Carlos and two other team members came out on the 10th as promised and took detailed notes of what was needed to cure the problem. To my pleasant surprise, I was given the option of having a team come by that same day to fix the problem. I jumped on it, as rain was scheduled for the very next morning. The fix (a drain installed under the fire pit) was completed on May 10th and it worked like a champ. We had 1.5 inches of rain on the 11th, and the fire pit remained dry. Everybody makes mistakes. It is how a person or a company handles their mistakes and makes good on them that differentiates the great ones from the rest. We can honestly say that Allied Outdoor Solutions is a great company, based on our experience with them. Did it go perfectly? No. Did Allied do everything they could to make things right? They absolutely did. We would certainly hire them again if the need arises, and we would heartily recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Carlos, Jeremy and Javier were the people we had the most contact with and they are the Real Deal. They were great representatives of Allied knowledgeable, ethical, and customer-centered. These qualities are harder and harder to find these days.
