  • Their TV record menu is slow and getting slower. Worst of all, they listed our phone number, which we have had for more than 40 years, as the local hospital, for reasons they can't explain, and can't seem to fix it. They are not concerned, basically, because they are not the ones getting calls in the middle of the night. Once it was posted on the web, it went into a loop. They act like a monopoly. Fortunately, they're not, so we'll be finding another provider.

  • We had a huge TV that was over 20 years old and it finally went out. We couldn’t get a picture. I am almost 75 years old and so is my husband but we are still pretty active and he still has his business that he goes to, we are not dumb people. I called Verizon and told them that I couldn’t get a picture and they said that it looked like I needed a new TV, so we bought a new TV. My grandson who is in his thirties and is very wise on computers and programs and stuff like that came out to set it up. We couldn’t get a picture. It kept saying like no service or something like that. I don’t remember what it said. He worked and worked and worked with it, so I called Verizon and got a really nice guy on the line and I told him what was going on. He said that we probably needed a new box and he asked me to call for an appointment and ask a tech about bringing a new box. I didn’t do it right away. I called after two or three days. I called and I got a guy who was of a different nationality. He was very rude. I told him what was going on and said that I thought I needed a new box and he said that I don’t. I told him that we can’t get a picture on the new TV and I would like him to send a technician out and see what was going on and he said he couldn’t do that. He said he was not allowed to do that. I told him that I pay almost $300 a month for TV and phone services and asked him why he couldn’t send me a technician. He said no to it and got real nasty with me. My husband was home and he came in and said he would work with him and try to get it done. He was nasty to my husband too. He insisted that he would not send somebody else. I got back on the phone and asked him if I could speak to his supervisor to which he said he was not available. He said that I have to wait for a while. I said I would wait and I waited a few minutes or longer than a few minutes while he was still trying to work with me to get the TV on. Later I was able to speak to the supervisor and she was also a foreigner. It was very hard for me to understand her. I told her what had happened and said that the guy who had come out was very rude and that I wanted some disciplinary action because I am an elderly person and I am not accustomed to being talked to like that and especially when they are providing me service. I asked her to provide a technician and I will pay him whatever I have to and she absolutely refused. She was almost as rude as he was, so my husband took the phone and said he would end the conversation and would call a TV repairman to come out and set up the TV. He said if it is the box, he would sue them and he hung up. We have called a TV repairman to come out and see what is going on. He said he would be here tomorrow. I have never in my life been talked to that way especially from somebody that I pay that much of money every month. I think their prices are way overpriced. I would tell others not to use them. I have a contract with them that I just renewed or I wouldn’t use them.

  • I periodically call them up and say that I am paying too much money and they find a way to lower it and cut a deal for me. The stupidest thing about them is their phones menu because getting through the phone robot is hell, but once I get through I am good to go and will get a good person and a real one. I always get somebody from Philadelphia of Kentucky and I was told by one of them that they have offices all over the country. They work for Citibank too because when I call their customer care I don't end up talking to an Indian and so far it has been good. They are real good and they won't come out and do thing with my equipment that is not in their work order. They are very responsive once I get them on the phone and they are always punctual. I will continue to use them in the future
