    Evolution Moving
They were fabulous. Everything with boxes that they charged at their cost and it was the actual owners that packed me up and moved me and it was like $2900. We had a big house. They packed one day and moved the next day. It took longer than they thought the second day but they didn't charge me. They really were terrific. They are in North Richland Hills. They drove from Richland Hills to Granbury and there wasn't any charge for that. They are also in New Brunsfels. They wrapped everything more than I expected. The owner and the manager are the ones that actually come out and do the moving for you. They were talking about getting a crew but I would still ask for the owner and manager. There were a couple of old dishes broken and there was a knick in the washer surface paint. They installed the washer and dryer in this tight room for me. There was a platform under my bed that the corner got rubbed a little and the paint came off. I thought that was pretty good for moving. We color coded everything so they had to get all that straight.

Firefighting's Finest Moving & Storage Inc of Ft. Worth
I was like this is crazy. Apparently I had accidentally called them twice so they sent me two of them. So they do this routinely. I am very upset with them. I didn't choose them. I wrote them saying this is insane - this is fraud. All they sent me was just a thing, "Oh well we have cancelled this and we hope you'll use us in the future." I'm like no I'm not going to use you in the future. And that wasn't adequate. They didn't charge me because I caught it in time. They would have showed up at my door. I don't always check my emails. They would have been at my door. I accidentally called them twice so this apparently wasn't a misunderstanding. This is a practice of theirs. I called them and told them I would let them know. Then I just got the email a week or two later. I think they should be referred to the Better Business Bureau. I didn't go with them because of the price.

They showed up on time at the storage units & begin loading. Worked very steady & carefully getting it all loaded in a thoughtful manner. I had very min damage that it could have been from the storage time but the movers. They had given me an estimated drive time which was very accurate. They unloaded in the same manner & set up things like the refrig & bedding. Excellent job.

    Charles Moving and Storage, Inc.
We faced a daunting task when our house was sold and
we had to move from the New Jersey to Texas.  We had read and seen shows
on TV about unscrupulous moving companies. They gave you a low price
and then doubled or tripled it when they arrived at your new home
demanding a cash payment to unload your furniture.
After talking to several movers we chose Charles Movers.  We talked to a
Godwin on the phone and he made an appointment with us to come to our
house and see what we had to move. He spent three hours there. He
explained the many options we had. He could have his men come over and
pack every thing or we could pack some ourselves, saving money. As we
had to set up our house for the staging of the sale, we opted to rent a
storage unit to pack and move some of our things at a leisurely pace. A
week later Godwin called and asked to come over and see how things were
progressing. He checked out our packing and made some suggestions and
even packed one piece of art work to show us the method we should use.
He also advised us to get another unit that was temperature controlled
for our many pieces of art work.
After the sale of our house we called Godwin and notified him of our closing date.  He
gave us a date three days before that date to insure getting everything
moved out. The day of the move Godwin showed up with his crew and a
tractor and trailer. They dropped the trailer and proceed to load it. In
the meantime a box truck went to the storage facility and load our
boxed belongings and our art work. They then unloaded the that truck
onto the trailer. Godwin gave us the date the trailer would arrive at
    our new home.
There was on other thing that I failed to mention.  My wife and I had an old antique water bed. It was
wooden with a head board with a mirror and was very heavy.  Godwin supervised the disassembling and packing of the bed.
Godwin flew to our new home and showed up at the same time as his crew.
He made sure every piece of furniture was okay and placed where we wanted it to go. He was particular in reassembling the waterbed.
All in all the cost of moving was a very reasonable price, and the
feeling of comfort and confidence with Charles Moving was priceless.  My
wife and I would highly recommend them to anyone, whether moving locally or across country.

They called us two time to chang the time. First switched from morning to afternoon. Then on the service date, they called and said it will be the next day! They are late next day as well. But the custom service is pretty good!

    ABF U Pack Moving Inc
They were amazing!! They were giving me answers before I knew what my questions were.
My parent are retiring and moving from Texas to Indiana to be close to us kids. My parents tasked me with getting them actually moved due to they are not able to. So a friend recommended I call U-Pack. I called the very nice lady gave me all the information and was very through to make sure I completely understood. I looked into what the cost would be to rent a check and drive it ourselves and compared the two options. The U-pack was going to actually save us money and stress.
So I booked the trip with U-pack. They called a few weeks later before the move to make a recommendation that instead of pods could they bring a trailer (28 feet long) and we only had to pay for what we used of it. What was left they would put some commercial shipment on. This gave us even more relief because our space and weight restriction was increase. And the price was cheaper.  We lended up taking the whole trailer.
When it came time to drop the trailer off they were very good about calling to let us know when they would be there and they did the same for the pickup. When it was time for the delivery of the trailer in Indiana they worked with us to get it dropped and picked up at the storage unit.
This move was so smooth and easy. If you are considering move you should call them. They were so nice and kept us informed regaining all steps of the process. They have a ton of options depending on your needs and the customer service people are so nice, helpful and patient.

These guys were great!  They called to say they were on the way, arrived on time, and took some time reviewing what needed to be moved.  They were very careful with all our furniture, appliances and boxes, as well as our house.  Nothing was scratched or damaged.  Not only that, they unloaded all the items into a shipping container at a storage facility on a 108 degree day.  They never complained or slowed down.

The guys from this company were FANTASTIC!  I was completely overwhelmed when I got a job and had to relocate quickly - and these gentlemen made the entire experience an awesome one!  They arrived on time and worked their backsides off all day - it was a 7 hour ordeal from start to finish.  To complicate matters - my mother is disabled and had special needs.  When I asked them to load her recliner last so she could keep her legs elevated while they loaded everything else - that's exactly what they did.  Then they unloaded and set up her chair first when we arrived so she had the least impact possible on a very long day.  They were responsive, attentive, careful, FAST and really strong!  Absolutely NOTHING was broken or damaged.  They took apart our beds and set them up for us and did a masterful job of cramming as much stuff as possible in that apartment in a neat and organized manner.  I was truly amazed and it was WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!  I would definitely use them again - and will call them as soon as I find a house to buy out here.  God bless Firefighter's Finest Moving!

    A Plus Moving Svc
A Plus was very helpful.  They moved a very heavy treadmill, in addition to the bedroom furniture.  They were great, and I am going to have them back to do more work.  It was well worth the money I spent.

The pickup went smoothly, but the deliveries were a nightmare.  Not only did the order get mixed up, with two large, heavy items being sent to Colorado by mistake (which the Company wanted to charge us additional for to send to the correct address), but the length of time to deliver was delayed (a month) by the Company waiting to get a full load from additional deliveries in the same areas (which had not been explained to us at pickup).  In addition, and the largest problem, was that expensive furnituire (leather recliners valued at $2,400 eadh) were badly damaged with deep scrapes and  "rope burns" from straps too tightly drawn and/or rubbing against other items in the van.  The chairs are not repairable (according to local experts) as you can't match the leather color, grain and patina on large sections of the chairs, and the numerous deep scuffs cannot be buffed out).  I had paid for $20,000 worth of additional replacement insurance, but after more than three months of calls, correspondence, providing photos and receipts, I was only offered $990.00 total for the damage, with them claiming I should be able to find someone to repair the chairs.

In addition, when the furniture was picked up, there were two fairly efficient gentlemen who worked together, with my husband, to load the furniture (much of it very heavy and large).  Upon arrival for delivery to my home, there was only one rather small man, clearly overwhelmed, who arrived well after the estimated time and took over four hours to unload only eight items here (several of those being smaller boxes), while blocking my neighbor's driveway.  Without my husband's help again (and he has had 4 back surgeries), he would not have been able to complete the delivery.

We were heartbroken about the damage to the lovely chairs, and cannot afford to replace them.  The individuals we were directed to speak with at Sterling Van Lines showed no interest in assisting us nor concern about our issues after the loads were picked up in California and they had their money.  We would definitely NOT recommend them to anyone.
