    After door was replaced I noticed clock was not keeping correct time even though technician and I both had rest clock correctly. Turns out that door replacement also requires a circuit board replacement to insure proper function of clock. Technician returned same day to replace circuit board.

    Did not  even get through the rude receptionist.  She just said no we don't replace that (not sure she even understood what needed to get fixed).  When I ask if she would recommend someone, she just call someone, someone will help you.  Never again will I call this service, nor would i recommend.

    RTown was very quick to return phone calls and showed up on time to do the work. It took a little longer than I had hoped to get them scheduled, but I guess that can happen if you do good work. They pulled a city permit, did the work, and called in the city inspector, who approved the work quickly. Here's where things went a little wonky, though. When the gas company came out to re-install the meter, they pointed out that the new gas line had been re-positioned such that their meter no longer fit.
    I had to get RTown out a second time to correct the line location so it could be connected to the gas meter. They couldn't make it back out right away, so yet another cold night with no heat. When they did come back, rather than just cutting the line that was too long and re-terminating it, they spent quite a bit of time trying to make what they had work. I never was clear why they couldn't cut the line and re-terminate it, but I suspect it was because they didn't have the tools or material to redo it on their truck. When they left, they didn't make sure the meter box closed correctly, and you guessed it, their somewhat whacky combination of elbows they used to compensate for the too long pipe hit the meter cover preventing it from closing, a violation of city code. At this point, I just wanted the heat back on, and I took a hacksaw to the meter cover to modify it a bit until it closed.
    By the time this was all done and I called the gas company back, I was told they were booked up for the day and I would have to wait yet another day for the gas to be reconnected.
    Was I happy with the work? Yes, for the most part, but there was a marked lack of attention to detail. If they had been more diligent about noting where the old meter connection was and took care to duplicate that location with the new line, I could have had the gas reconnected 3 days earlier. As an amateur, this might be something I would miss, but as professionals, they should have had the experience necessary to anticipate this.

They're always really professional, they show up on time and I feel like they're really honest like if you need repairs, they don't try to sell you things you don't need. They're really conscientious and tries to do what's best for their client. We've used them for close to ten years and we wouldn't continue using them if we're not happy with them.

    I have no problem with the services provided.
    The problems started when I cancelled their warranty policy. They billed for one additional month after the cancellation, which was incorrect.
    I called their billing department and was told this charge would be reversed. The next month came and went and I assumed the issue had been resolved. WRONG!
    AHS had turned my account over to a collection agency for the last month payment which they said had been reversed. Now, I'm getting phone calls and mail transmitals from the collection agency, with all kinds of threats regarding what they will do to my credit standing.
    Called AHS again, and again a billing rep took my information and said the reversal has been initiated previously, and didn't know why the collection agency had not been updated. This rep again initiated a report and said it would be transmitted to the collection agency. Still don't know if they actually initiated and transmitted the billing reversal report to the collection agency.
    I've wasted a lot to time talking with these morons for something which they caused.
    Don't do business with these idiots.

    Lopez Appliance Repair is very affordable and reasonable, they are very good. I have referred him to many people. He fixed it but guaranteed that he did not know how long it would last because it was so old. He was up front and told me before he worked on it.

    Our oven over heated or something during the cleaning process (don;t use this). The door locked and we had to turn off at circuit box and let cool down. We called ACA based on report in Angie's list. It turned out to be a switch in the rear of the oven that senses overheating failed and ACA replaced this switch. They did have to order the switch but came back the next day and completed the repair. Cleanup was great and the price was fair.
