ASecurity Consultant ProsThis is a 6 STAR Company! Just moved to the area, and after having our house broken into & suffering thousands of dollars in damages and theft 10 years ago, I immediately went with BRINKs since they were our former company in another state for almost 3 years. What a humongous mistake! Since BRINKs does not have continuous running security cameras, I did a GOOGLE search to find a reputable company to purchase our system from and also install them and I saw that Security Consultant PROs had not only great reviews but their family photo also caught my eye too= to me that was an indicator that they are proud of the value they provide to their community and quite confident in what they do. Within 48 hours of me calling Mary, she & her husband James were at our home doing an assessment of how many cameras we may need and they saw our BRINKS sensors for our windows and doors...to make a long story very short, I have canceled our BRINKS contract because Mary was able to provide a much better product that has better range for a lower price...and her son Jimmy, who is an incredible computer GURU, installed all of them for me! Additionally, the security cameras that I purchased from them and that James and their very agile employee Matt installed last month have incredible capabilities & features that make it easier to see objects both day and night. Rest assured that I shall NEVER recommend BRINKS in the future to anyone ...it took me calling BRINKS 4 times over a 14 day period to get a return label for that is the only way to get a refund from them in a timely fashion; on the 3rd attempt, a BRINKS "customer service rep" laughed at me when I could not get my password or passcode correct=she was SO WRONG in both her verification efforts and attitude! So I urge anyone reading this review to be smart and call Mary for she and her terrific family shall take AWESOME care of you, your family, and your property/valuables for they will save you time, money, and lots of frustration too!- Michael C.

AThe Fix It Man RepairsWe live in South Austin. High winds broke a large tree and it fell on our 8-foot fence. The fence was pulled free from the corner post causing the fence to fall over and dislodge two of the metal posts. I had two other fence companies give bids for the repair. Neither proposal offered the services I requested. Both companies proposed more extensive work with bids from $1350 to $1500. Neither was willing to only replace the damaged posts like I asked, and they couldn’t get to a job “that small" for over three weeks. I called Mark Libby of The Fix It Man Repairs. Mark offered to come the following Wednesday to do a free estimate. I sent pictures of the damage and asked if he could give a “ball park” estimate from the pictures. I asked him to come on that day and fix the fence rather than to just make an estimate. He said he would arrive by 9 AM. He got to our house at 8:45, surveyed the damage, determined what materials would be required, and left to get materials. It turned out that ten-foot steel posts were not readily available at the home improvement stores. He called twice to assure me that he was still looking for posts and had not abandoned me. He returned about 12:30. I thought there was no way one person could finish the project by the end of the day, but I was wrong. He did an excellent job, removed all the scrap pieces, and was finished by 4:45 PM. Mark did the exact task that I had wanted and saved me a substantial amount of money. Mark does work outside of Cedar Park. I will not hesitate to call on him again for my maintenance, repair, and renovation projects. I heartily recommend him to anyone in need of a handyman. AOnCall Home ServicesMy kitchen cabinet was damaged by the dishwasher leak and the water remediation company had to get rid of the kitchen cabinet and took out the sheetrock behind the cabinet. Robert is a professional guy and he has been in the cabinet business for over 20 years. He bought the new insulation, new sheetrock and wood planks. He put the insulation and sheetrock back on and he made the cabinet from wood planks. The new cabinet matches the existing cabinets in the kitchen. He also painted the wall and so I could not see the sign of the cabinets being repaired. In all, I highly recommend oncall service.- Xiaohui C.
