    IQ Remodeling
My husband and I have lived through many remodels and worked with many contractors. Eduardo is simply THE BEST. He is reliable, punctual, thoughtful, patient, and has the skills of an angel! From the outset, he listened to what we wanted and helped us to refine the design. Throughout the project he was available by email and telephone. He was generous with his time and met with us several times to make sure we approved of the design, materials and finishes at each stage. There was never a travel charge.

There were several times when the measurements and materials did not work out as planned and Eduardo carefully thought out a satisfactory resolution. For example, when we were deciding upon an exhaust fan over the range, we did not want an off the shelf vent hood under the 12" upper cabinets. Eduardo was able to locate a complete unit that would fit into the upper cabinet and designed a clear reflector pane to keep any wayward spatters from the stove top from hitting the cabinet doors.

Eduardo does not use subcontractors. However, when wanted a recycled glass counter top that required installation by a sole source provider and Eduardo coordinated it all beautifully! He was available to meet the schedule dictated by that provider, even showing up early on a Saturday!

Eduardo is a joy to work with - we have already signed up to do our bathroom next year!

    Peoples Signature Flooring
The owners and crew were fabulous from start to finish. The craftsmanship and work ethic of everyone is just amazing. I had my floors done in my precious house by then and would highly recommend then to anyone. They may cost a little more than others, but all well worth it. You get what you pay for.

    Dynamic Renovations
Because we were living in the home during remodel, Dynamic was flexible in working with us on scheduling phases of the work so as to provide minimal disruption. In looking at cabinet refinishing options, we decided to re-tint versus refacing with new cabinet doors and resulted in substantial cost savings. After approving the refinished sample, cabinet doors were removed and refinished at the shop. The face frames were refinished over 3 days, which allowed us to use the kitchen quickly. Doors were installed in lots as they were finished and reinstalled with new hardware. The cabinets look high end and the color (dark walnut) really worked well with the granite.
The existing ceramic floor was removed and replaced with 20" x 20" tiles in a staggered brick pattern, which can be tricky given the number of rooms, existing cabinet locations, and doorways. The flooring was replaced in the kitchen, breakfast area, utility room, and half bath. A lot of planning and time was spent on the layout to ensure no tile slivers and to absorb all out-of-square wall conditions from original construction. The layout was perfect with no grout lines near walls.
Overall, we could not have been more pleased with the work and process by which it was completed.

    REBCO Remodeling

Was refered by a friend.  Called Ricky the owner came out met, gave me a quote.  Was very courtious, polite, on time.  Very good on price.  When started work was on time, crew was polite and worked hard,  no stalls on work.  Very good quality job.  Finished on time.No drag outs as I have encountered in the past.  They were very neat and clean.  No mess when finished.  I would definitely recommendthem to anyone and use them again in the future.

    CPR Builders
Charles was invaulable to the remodel of our house. At times working along side me (the amatuer) and giving suggestions as to what options were available. Charles knowledge of construction is amazing.
We had purchased and moved onto our property a modular office building, about 2,000 sq ft. CPR Builders (Charles Rogers) were instrumental in making the kitchen what my wife and I had invisioned. He was able to use 3 slabs of marble to fit into our cabinets, cutting each perfectly with no chips or breakage.
He replaced 2 sets of commercial double glass doors with residential doors which involved taking out the old frames and putting in new frames and doors.
He installed wood laminate floor in our big room, hallway and foyer. The foyer met the hallway at an 90 degree angle, he was able to cut the laminate perfectly so that it appeared to meet the hallway perfectly at a right angle. He glued this joint and it looks wonderful.
He helped out and made many suggestions to the work I was completing myself.

    Handyman Matters of Austin
Handyman was extremely prompt and flexible in initial communications regarding the job and then in setting arrival times to begin the job.  I didn't need to be on site for the majority of the work.  Daily communication between Handyman agency as well as the actual contractor was excellent.  They make it very easy for you to schedule the task and get it done.  Contractor, David, was prompt, professional, efficient, and very knowledgeable regarding framing, homebuilding, etc.... I have already referred them to my neighbors for similar type work as they too have the same builder.  I will not hesitate to call them again if I have other jobs that need attention from a professional.

    Krause & Whitehouse
David Krause gave us a very competitive and detailed bid which we compared to others (significantly less than the bid from Expo and with a quicker finish date). David and his partner, George Whitehouse, were able to start within a month of the final decision. The project took approximately 6 weeks. From the first day when they started demolition, we were impressed with the extreme care that they took with our hardwood floors and how clean they left the area each evening. They taped and papered our stairs and laid down drop cloths and vacuumed every day. Ten days into the job, our second water heater in the attic on the other side of the house went out and flooded the walk in closet below taking out the ceiling and walls and leaking into the floor below. Our home warranty company (American Home Shield) sent a totally incompetent plumber (Pyramid Plumbing); See those reviews. We would have had far more damage to our belongings if David hadn't rushed in to help and the plumber would still be in the attic today if George hadn't helped with the electrical connections for the water heater. David and George then worked repairs of the resulting damage into the remodeling schedule. We were very grateful and impressed with their willingness to help. The quality of the finish out of the remodeling project was outstanding. David and George had creative suggestions at every decision point and their attention to detail was amazing. They were also very patient in several instances where changes were requested, always putting our satisfaction first. We have rarely encountered this before. I am so proud of my newly remodeled bathroom and dressing room. Everyone I show it to wants to know who the contractor was. I am happy to tell them.
