    Excellent service by dentist. extracted 3 teeth and grafted material to jaw. Saved over 50% in cost and saved more by using dental office credit department with no interest for 18 months on balance. On going dental work will require more but I'm sure satisfied with this membership program. Can't go wrong. Ms. Naini was very helpful and responded quickly to my needs. I would recommend her as the one to go to.

    The social/case worker we mainly worked with didn't seem to do her job that well when asked about transport costs at least two different times, she was going to "check on it", but I never heard back on it. She also didn't start the paperwork the day when she was asked, for my dad's transfer to be closer to home, but instead had to be reminded about it the next business day over the weekend. The food was bad according to my dad. He would hardly eat it and he likes food. The kitchen help was very nice though. All in all Kindred did an adequate job, but not exceptional. For the most part my dad felt like he was taken care of pretty well and liked the nurses and techs and PT and doctors. We had him there because he temporarily needed dialysis and they did it "in-house" which Medicare paid for. We have since transferred him to a skilled nursing facility much closer to where he lives and he is doing really well with physical therapy and getting strong by the day. I would say the most important thing for any hospital or rehab stay for you or a loved one is have a family advocate there if at all possible, to be there as much as possible, and speak up for you when needed.

    UHC is the provider for my company-administered heath benefits. Dealing with them is about like dealing with any other large health insurance provider, which is to say that there is an abundance of bureacracy and and quot;red-tapeand quot;, their web site is difficult to decipher and navigate, and once a coverage decision has been handed down they're pretty much inflexible about it. I hear from my doctors that they're and quot;about averageand quot; to deal with which I take to mean better in some things, worse in others.

    I have had an overall good experience with United Healthcare. I have experienced good customer service when I have called in the past. The representatives have been friendly and informative when I have called with questions or needing more information. United Healthcare's website is very helpful when trying to find new doctor's or looking up claims. The options of doctors covered with my insurance is excellent. I have not experienced going to a doctor or facility that has not been covered.

    Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall
    I have been in and out of hospitals since I was 3, all in Columbus, OH, until this surgery and if we can say being in a hospital was a good experience, this has to be one of them. I was an outpatient but everyone was very helpful and took the time to make sure I was comfortable before and after my surgery. Now I try to find doctors who work in conjunction with the hospital because after years of searching and only finding some very poor doctors, the ones at Presby Rockwall have all be the best so far. Let's hope they keep this winning streak going :)

    I go to CareNow in Garland. I've used them every three or four weeks over the winter, last three months. Flues and cold. I just like the convenience. They have a web-base so you can check in and not actually go in until it's time for your appointment. They call you and you go straight back to see the doctor. It works out real well. You see a different doctor each time, but they are all friendly and professional doctors.

    They pay quickly. I've never had any problems. They handle negotiations fairly. It is through my work but I have a $1,200 deductible a year. I don't know that much about the pricing of other insurances and I haven't done a lot of comparison.

    The nurses and staff were great.I heard about the doctors and what they said but very seldom actually saw one.All the tests (mri,cat scan,eeg,ekg,numerous blood tests,etc) couldn't find a problem or cause.When I was released I was directed to see the neurology dept but when I contacted them they said no referral had been made for me and they couldn't see me without the paper work from the doctor.After several attempts to contact the doctor with no results I gave up.Two months later I received a bill from Baylor for $165.00 with no explanation of what the charges were for just that I owed $165.00 when I requested an explanation for the charges I was told it was for self administered drugs.When I questioned this bill because I had Medicare and a supplement policy which should have covered the charges someone in billing said she would check my bill and get back to me but I never heard from anyone.When I received another bill threatening being turned over to a collection agency I called again and explained I was waiting for a call back with an explanation for the bill that never came the person I talked to put me on hold for a few minutes and when he returned he said I actually owed 42.00.I never got any explanation of the error.

    Care Now was convenient as my niece began experiencing symptoms of strep throat (which she has had numerous times in the past) while on a visit. We were able to check her in online and they called shortly before they were ready to see her. As such, there was very little waiting time. The doctor was attentive and even called my niece afterward to check up on her.
    Emergency room/urgent care visits are never pleasant but this one was as pleasant as they can be.

    She was in there for a month and a half. The staff was great. There was not one person that wasn't really nice. These people love their work and they love working for this hospital and some of them travel for miles to get to work. Some work hours away and stay in hotels during the week and then go home on the weekends. The doctors are great too. Everyone communicates well. The food was not great and not as thoughtfully prepared as it should have been. That was the only negative. I started bringing in food from outside for my wife. The food is the only negative that I have to say about it. Her doctors are right next to the hospital so it was very easy to get her into ER. There is a separate heart hospital that specializes in this area. It is one of the best hospitals in the area. It is a very nice system and the people are great. We will continue to use the services of this hospital in the future if needed.
