    H. Depot's installers measured and placed order for 2 prehung exterior outswing doors for my home. At completion of the install I realized that the sill of the threshold for both doors were too short by over an inch and did not extend to the outside wall of house. They installed the prehung units on a treated 1X8 soft pine board as a subsill which they improperly sloped back toward the house and ran a bead of calk along length between the sill and subsill. The incorrect slope of subsill holds rain water in the trough formed there with just a bead of calk to keep standing water from eventually entering the wall interior of my home. 2 H Depot managers came out and looked at my job and said they really didn't know what to do and have sent the installers back out 2 times. The installers have done nothing.

I would use them for any and all my needs from here on out. PS... I generally don���t take time to recommend a business. But these folks are more than worth my time and yours

    The project was well done. Nice guys, professional and knowledgeable. They pay attention to detail and do the work correctly. They made sure to meet Galveston and windstorm requirements. They cleaned up every day and left the job site clean when they left. Easy to work with. Got the job done as requested and within the time frame estimated. We will definitely use them again.

    These guys are either incompetent or dishonest. My home warranty company sent this group down because a circuit was out in my living room. The electrician, Daniel I believe, only looked at the breaker box for one minute and said a new sub panel would need to be installed and new wiring run in the living room because everything was fried. I don���t know how he came to that conclusion when he never even looked at the wiring in the living room. He estimated it would be $1300 to get everything back online. I had to pay him $75 for this professional knowledge and the 5 minutes of his precious time. I then called the guy I usually do business with. He and his helper spent an hour and a half troubleshooting the real problem and found out the plug in the fireplace was shorted out from wind driven rain. They charged me $120 for the hour and a half of work that included going in the attic and actually looking at the wiring, and the job has held up for the past 4 months. Don���t waste your time and money with these crooks like me.

    Vanderford Air was great to work with. Les Hickman was on top of my job and communicated great. They were very reasonable, clean, prompt and quick. Les helped program everything. It is hard to find people who follow up in Galveston, and Vanderford did just that.

    Company came out and took deposit for new doors 60%. Ordered wrong size and never showed up again. Will not return calls or text messages and will not refund money. Seeking legal help now. Do not hire this company. They are scumbags and deserve to be locked up for doing this to me and other people and I hope ill will falls upon them for doing such shameful deeds.

    Scott's crew investigated our roof and discovered that all the flashing had rotted through. They removed the rotted flashing, associated roof materials, and replaced them. They also replaced two doors as well as the upstairs deck which was on top of the flashing. In addition we had two windows replaced. One wall that had mildewed because of moisture inside it had to be replaced. The overall result seems excellent. All the windows, walls and doors were painted carefully, even one that had been only slightly damaged. So far we have seen no water come in, so we are very optimistic. Scott's crew was engaged and showed up when they said they would. The only delay was caused by people installing new windows.

    Initially good as Cody came and started the replacement on the 2 electrical boxes with which I was overjoyed and very happy with his work. Then he was to rewire the larger side duplex, which he did. He was very efficient and pleasant to have working for us. I had paid a deposit of $1700 2 weeks before he started, another $2,800 after breaker boxes were installed, and the final payment the day he finished a couple of weeks later. The problems started when he was to return to rewire the other side of the duplex and install a Smoke Detector he had forgetten in the Living room. Cody had said he would return to finish the work on Oct 15th. A couple of weeks later, on Oct 13th, when I texted to confirm what time he would be arriving the following day he replied that he wouldn't be coming to work because he had decided to get married that week and would be busy with family coming in, etc.! Wow! 2 weeks later, when the weather got cold and I plugged in a heater, one of the new breakers he had installed kept tripping. I texted to let him know and ask when he could come fix it with no answer. Over the next two weeks, I texted and tried calling as the breaker kept tripping, the smoke detector still hadn't been installed and Cody ignored my attempt at communications. I waited a couple of weeks and tried again but total shut out, only to discover he had dropped all his clients and moved an hour away with no notice to any of them. Thought he was an honest person and better than that. Apparently I was wrong to think so.

    Scott responded quickly with the initial assessment and quote. Once the new front door system was received, we were able to easily and conveniently schedule the removal of the old door and installation of the new. The crew arrived promptly, worked efficiently and professionally for the two days required to complete the job. They cleaned up after themselves each day. Very pleased with the finished work. There was a defective part on the door which Scott noticed, ordered a replacement part, and then followed up with a quick repair a few weeks later when the part was received. Excellent service and follow-up.

    They completed a large job of exterior painting with trim work on a very tall historic home. 3 colors, extensive caulking and replacement of rotted boards on 2-story Victorian, 2100 SF. They were punctual, hard-working, professional and went above and beyond in extra touches to make the job better. Would highly recommend.
