    Piano Restoration Center
    We contracted The Piano Restoration Center in January of 2018 to do a complete restoration of Baldwin, Model R Grand Piano. The owner, Carlos Farina told us that the restoration would take between 6 to 9 months. Mr. Farina picked up the piano and collected substantial amount of money as a down payment, as well as two additional payments. It has been 18 months now and we have not seen the piano or money. We are looking for others in the same situation to join us in seeking criminal prosecution. Please contact us at getmypiano@gmail.com.

    Precision Leather Restoration
    I had an expensive, navy blue, leather "dream" couch that I purchased in 1996. Being a bachelor until 2018 I thought the natural decline of it's look and functionality just added character UNTIL I got married in September 2018. My beautiful new wife, who loves to decorate, thought otherwise about the worn down areas that were no longer navy blue, the discolored splotches from cat barf and the dilapidated, saggy cushions could NOT be classified as "shabby chic." Since the couch was so expensive and so sentimental to me she contacted Larry Klein of Precision Leather Restoration and he assured us he could make it look like new. Impossible, we thought! Well, were we wrong, Larry fully reconditioned the leather and also recommended another company, Andrew's Refinishing, to replace all the cushion padding. It was a double win for me. Not only does the couch look BETTER THAN NEW, because it has such an amazing luster to it now that I don't think was there when I bought it BUT more importantly, my wife is "over the moon" with it and now her single favorite piece of furniture. There is most likely very few, highly skilled, true craftsmen in the world today but Larry is just that. His work is stunning and he takes such great pride in all he does. He is a complete "straight shooter" and if he tells you something you can trust his judgment and decisions. I rarely write reviews BUT Larry deserves all the accolades possible! Great price and world class, seemingly impossible results.

    Awesome! Cindy spent several days with us packing our 6000 square foot home. She works so hard and I was simply amazed at how efficient she was. When the movers came we were ready to go. I hired 2 trucks/crews and both completed my move without any issues. I must say Wrightway exceeded my expectations! I would definitely hire them again.

    Chuck's Custom Upholstery
    After reading reviews and meeting with Chuck we were very excited and optimistic about turning our furniture over to him. Chuck was very pleasant thru the process. On the day of delivery we had a family emergency and were rushed to get everything settled. Upon returning home we first noticed the looks of the sofa had changed from a warm, inviting, comfortable(albeit warn) sofa to a cold, very square, flat, uncomfortable sofa. The antique fainting couch had been changed from a 1 piece cushion to a 2 piece cushion(it looks ok but this was not discussed), this has been in my family for several generations so to see it changed was concerning. The armchair with ottoman appears to be what we expected on a simple recover. A call was made to Chuck the next business day to express our concerns and discuss options to see if anything could be done, he wound up yelling and prematurely ending the call. We spent a lot of money to have nice furniture refinished, in return we expected the end result to be something we could enjoy for many years. Based on the conversation with Chuck we will have to settle for what we received and look for a replacement once we can recoupe the cost of this work. The photos attached are the before(a few years ago) and after for the sofa($1,270+$350 in fabric), fainting couch($500+150 in fabric), and the chair/ottoman(after pic only $450+300 in fabric). In total we spent over $3,000 on this furniture, a premium price and premium results were expected.

    I was referred to Craftsmen Furniture Service by Ethan Allen furniture and they only deal with the best. Mark Steinc is an expert at furniture repair. He is a very personable gentleman. He identified the problem and fixed it immediately. He also went out of his way to help me fix another piece of furniture that I had attempted to repair earlier showing me how to do it cost free. He is very knowledgeable about all types of furniture including expensive antique furniture. I would trust him with all my furniture. He is reasonably priced. I will definitely recommend him and absolutely use him, again.

    Their follow-up and customer service were their best. The worst part was they had just got a new scheduling system and it created a delay so we had to reschedule the move by a week or two. The reason I say that as the worst because on the day of the scheduled move, I was there for a couple of hours waiting. I called them. They called me back about 10 minutes later and said that I was scheduled and they said that they completely missed it. They asked me what they could do to make it better and they did work with me to make things better. That is why I said their best part was their customer service, but overall, it should not have been an issue to begin with. They actually gave me a half-price discount because of the mishap. The price I paid was great because it was half-priced, but for the regular price, I suppose it is okay. The other person I contacted, The Piano Doctor, did not do moves. He just does the tuning and he said he could recommend another company to do that and the prices were the same. Everything came over fine. When they did reschedule, we had to play phone tag a little bit, but they were able to get there and everything was fine after that.

    Perfect Pitch Piano Co
    Appointment went well, I spoke to the owner and confirmed the date/time. Something got mixed up either on Angie's List or somewhere as a different address was applied to the order. On the date of the move the appointment was missed and we had to reschedule. The owner did everything he could to resolve the situation and made it right in the end. We rescheduled and setup went fine. He answered his phone and remembered me by address immediately. If things had went well from the beginning it would have been a flawless transaction but we had to wait an extra week and make arrangements from the piano sellers to reschedule. I was satisfied in the end.

    Our 6 dining room chair seats were over 30 years old and the foam and webbing were sagging and very uncomfortable to sit on. Ann replaced all the foam and webbing and used new fabric I supplied and they are good as new again. I won't hesitate to return with other projects. Thanks, Ann!
