    Las Colinas Vision Center
I really like Las Colinas Vision Center.  I have been using them for a while and highly recommend them.  The exam was thorough.  The staff is friendly and professional.  Dr. Park is great - he took the time to understand my issues and needs. I never feel rushed.  I ordered 2 pair of new glasses and new lenses for my existing sunglasses ( which I also got at Las Colinas Vision Center.  They always have a great selection of frames and dedicated professionals to assist with selection and ordering.  They also make sure the frames fit well.  I'm not able to wear contacts and I have a complex prescription - and all my glasses look and fit great.

    Plano Eye Associates
Plano Eye Associates were good.  They did eye exam for kids and the experience was very pleasant.  I think it happened in June July of 2013.  It was very easy to schedule an appointment.  It was on time.  The doctor was immediately available.  He spends enough time to explain the situation and come up with propose solution.  For exam it was a reasonable but the cost eyeglasses were very overprice so we don’t bought her eyeglasses there.

They're very thorough. Because they're busy, you can't get in to quickly, generally, but it's not bad. They're very good. You can trust that they are thorough and you can trust they'll do a good job and when they catch things, they will refer you out.

It was very well. The optometrist takes time with you. He's thorough. He explains things with you. The staff are very friendly. Very little waiting time and the Optometry Department is very knowledgeable and very friendly. They're really pleasant over there.

We love Dr. S and her staff - they are all extremely friendly and helpful. They carry high-end frames which typically is out of our budget for our 11 year old, so we get the prescription filled elsewhere.

This provider is definitely an overall A regarding service and quality. I gave a B for the following areas for the listed reasons:

Office Environment - While this isn't entirely fair, it is still a reality. The road in front of the office is being expanded and this business is a real hassle to access. Unfortunately this project is expected to take a few years.
Communication - My son is young and plays hockey. I asked when I called if he could be considered for contacts despite his age. I was told yes and confirmed this again when I spoke to the front staff when we arrived. However, the eye doctor herself was obviously of a different opinion. However, all interactions remained very professional.
Billing and Administration - For those concerned with the bottom line, this place is very expensive. Your prescription is not released so you can buy elsewhere, if you considered just getting the exam. However, the get-what -you-pay-for motto holds true. Quality and service is high and now that my son has broken his glasses a mere 3 months later (not a reflection on the frames - he is one of four brothers), they repaired them without question and without cost.

I had been contemplating Lasik for several years and finally felt the time was right for the procedure. I had a consultation with Dr. Gelender and discussed the procedure, pros and cons and expected outcomes. Because I am older, he told me not to expect perfect all around vision since I would probably still need to wear reading glasses. I decided to do a monovision, where one eye sees distance and the other sees near. Previously, I was not able to see anything but a blur with my glasses off. Immediately after the procedure, I was able to see well without glasses. My vision was even better after a few weeks. I occasionally have to wear reading glasses, especially when my eyes get dry. I had an occasional  problem with dry eye prior to Lasik. The problem remained about the same or maybe a few more episodes of needing to put drops in my eyes for lubrication every few days.
It is so nice to be able to wake up from sleep, open my eyes and be able to see without fumbling for my glasses. The other advantage, I get to buy LOTS of sunglasses.
Is my vision perfect? No, because I was older older when I had it done. I definitely think this procedure was worth it and wish I had done it when I was younger. To be able to see without glasses is wonderful.

I made several visits. Although the doctor and his staff was always polite, I did not get a satisfactory resolution for my problem. I still have the outgrowth after several attempts to remove it.

It was a very positive experience.  I was greeted professionally and I had virtually no wait (very prompt).  My exam was very thorough - the OD took the time to understand my issues and make recommendtions.  Equipment and procedures seemed state of the art.  I have a very complex prescription and they nailed it.  The optician that assisted my was very helpful and patient.  I purchased 2 pairs of glasses - they were ready as promised and I love both pair.  They are by far the best glasses I have ever had in terms of comfort, style and prescription. I took the chance by driving some distance but the reviews were good so I thought I would give them a try and I am so glad I did.

It was really a typical eye appointment. I went in one room where I had some check-ups and test done on my eye to diagnose disease, etc. Then, after that was done, Dr. S went through the typical and quot;is 1 better? or 2? 1? or 2?and quot;. Because my power is high, I also had my eyes dilated. After that, I set up a latter appointment to wait for some trial lenses to come. Really, the appointment went exactly how I would think it would go. No problems. No long waits. Everything went well.
