My previous dentist referred me to Dr. Wade because my mouth had become very sick and we did not understand why. I am happy to report that I am so much better, in so many ways, because of her oversight and care! I was quickly returned to health through a well-organized plan that included several high-tech analyses, radical deep-cleanings, and professional equipment/supplies for my home use. The office is large and filled with highly trained specialists and state-of-the-art devices. Two more of many positive things I could say: Dr. Wade is my first female dentist in 60 years and I have a low threshold for pain. She has a far more delicate, yet precise hand that makes her work better in every way for me. Second, she holds a key role in a professional circle that allows her to treat patients holistically. She referred me to Dr. Shahan Chowdhury who has since become my most respected personal physician. Their professional network, for referrals, is astounding! I am so grateful for their healing hands and authentic care.

I've been going to see Dr. Hulings for a couple of years and he recently completed the second crown. He took a photo of the tooth and I could clearly see cracks in the tooth. He suggested doing a crown before an implant would be needed. I'll take the crown over an implant any day! Thank you Dr. Hulings, for saving me from a serious tooth problem!

    Renew Family Dentistry
My family has been going to Renew Dentistry for about 18 months  Between cleanings, x-ray, and wisdom teeth about 25 visits.   From a quality of care my wife and I have been surprised that Dr Maxwell does not see the patients during cleaning visits.  That has bothered us. Today, however I was surprised with an entirely unexpected event.  I was refused a cleaning because I did not want x-rays.   To clarify the "why"... my wife and kids have had appointments in the last 2 weeks and my wife requested no x-rays because this office is relocating requiring us to find another Dentist.  She did not want to get x-rays knowing that many Dentists try to get "new patient x-rays" when you are new to an office.  Dr Maxwell gave us no notice of a pending move during our visits 6 months ago.  So when my wife arrived for the recent cleanings she was informed they were moving she asked they not do x-rays.  Interesting part of the story is the Dr still allowed my wife and kids to get their cleanings.   Now to my visit today.  When I informed the hygienist that I would not be getting x-rays, she informed me that if I am not getting x-rays she was not going to clean my teeth and I could leave.  I was shocked at first and didn't know exactly what to do other than leave. The conversation was that quick and to the point, I was not given conversation or options. I thought this employee may have "gone rouge" and I decided to call back to the office and inform them of this.  I also wanted to make sure they did not attempt to bill me for a cancellation.   Keep in mind there was a 20 minutes gap between my departure and my phone call.   I reached someone at the desk and they were very familiar with what occured.  I was 1st told it is state regulation that patients recieve annual x-rays and that Doctor made an exception for my wife and kids.  When I repeated back to the employee exactly what she was saying about it being law and that I intend to verify this.  She then changed the story to insurance liability reasons and that the Doctor could make an exception based on my medical history.  I asked why did the hygienist not have any dialogue about medical history as a consideration?  Or consult with the Dr?  I reminded the person on the phone I am 48 years old, never had braces, only one incident of a "sticky pit" and never even a cavity.  I am not a patient that needs frequent x-rays and if the Doctor made an exception for my family why not me.  The office person kept interupting me attempting to justify why they could refuse treatment to protect their liability.  She only listened when I informed her that intend to post my concerns on social media sites because they "cancelled" my appoitment with no cause.  She then said, if you come back right now we will clean your teeth.  At this point I am 25 minutes South on the toll-way and told her if they want to make it right help me reschedule this week.  I said call me or text me with options for cleanings today and I will see what I can do to come in.  Btw, Doctors are not the only busy people. I never received a call back, thus I am doing what I said I would do.  At first I thought this may have been a rouge employee, but now I recognize this is a lack of respect for their patients to decide their own level of care. I strongly recommend a different office.

He did a great job explaining the process and making sure every step was comfortable.   My smile looks fantastic and I am thrilled with the results.  I went to several practices to get a comparison of approaches and processes since I was new to Frisco.   While the office is more basic, the staff and Dr. Estes are absolutely fantastic and do absolutely fantastic work.  I know I made the right decision!

Everything went well - on both occasions.  Everyone in the office - staff, hygienists and the dentist are all professional, knowledgeable and are very personable.  What I really like is the primary focus on the health of my teeth.  It seems that more often than not dentists are focused on cosmetic dentistry.  Cosmetic dentistry certainly has its place - nothing like a great smile but I want to make sure my teeth and gums are healthy first.  The appointment was prompt and there was no rush - thorough cleaning and exam. Highly recommended.

    Gerald Smith DDS
My family recently moved here from Washington State and we've been looking for a new family dentist.  We have two boys, 2 and 3.5 years old.  I've (I'm the mom) been going to the same dentist for 35 years and have never seen another dentist.  I was looking for a dentist with more years experience in quality general dentistry rather than a dentist who can whiten my teeth or promise pain-free work (getting a filling just is what it is).  I was also looking for someone who could handle children.
Our other constraint was that we live near down-town Frisco and wanted to find someone close.
To be honest, finding Dr. Smith wasn't easy.  I wouldn't have known about it if it weren't for Angie's list.  He doesn't advertise - his practice is so well embedded in the community he doesn't have to.  He's been at his same office for a long time, there is no flashy sign, it's located in an understated office building, and the waiting area is simple and comfortable.
Dr. Smith's staff seemed to be part of his professional family; all well skilled and friendly.  My teeth were x-rayed, cleaned and examined by Zeb the hygienist and Dr Smith did a thorough evaluation.  He practically recited my whole dental history by reading my x-rays - the guy's been around and he KNOWS TEETH.
This was my 3.5 year old boy's second visit with the dentist.  It's not easy for anyone and Zeb and staff handled him just fine.
I would recommend Dr. Smith's dental office gem to anyone who doesn't need a flashy office with flashy techniques and is just looking for good solid density.

Great staff, nice location and facility.  Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.  I am new to this area and it is hard to find a dentist you like and trust. I am so happy to have found one here in Frisco!!  I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

He takes care of our whole family.  He is just great.  His ricing is very fair.  He is very thorough.  He is great at putting together a good treatment plan.  He goes step by step about what would be needed when I should have it done.  The staff is very friendly.  He does late evening hours, some Saturdays and very early hours.  I can get an appointment at 7 o’clock in the morning and be on time to work.  I have never to wait.

I had to have two of my front teeth fitted with porcelain veneers. They took the extra time to make sure that every detail was perfect (from shading, to size, to fit, etc) and restored my smile was before, if not better. They look just like regular teeth and not like horse teeth. I can not tell you how many people are shocked to learn that my two front teeth are fake.

    Davidson, Dr. Scott N.
I have several years of experience with Dr. Davidson for a variety of extensive dental work and found him to be outstanding.
In particular, however, he recently replaced my front top two teeth which had broken away, and convinced me to also replace the two protruding teeth on both sides of those.  This would allow him to straighten the set of all four teeth into one smooth, healthy look.
I was skeptical that this could be done, but was pleasantly surprised with the final results.  He not only managed a brand new straightened look, but also found the exact shading (whiteness) that made them look natural.  I have had many complements from friends and family with the new look, and feel like I have an entire set of new teeth for a fraction of the cost.
His confident and caring work has always served me well, but he went above and beyond my expectations with this procedure.
