    Nortex Fence & Patio
It went extremely well, we are beyond pleased with the work the guys did. They were very clean and professional throughout the whole process. Time was important, and there wasn't any gaps in the schedule once the work began. The patio cover was something we have been wanting for a very long time, and they seemed to really pay attention to every cut. The structure looks so amazing tied into our house. Much more grand than we expected! With the yard completely opened up now from the drivegate being installed its like we now how a massive yard. I love this, the fence crew did a great job on this and really does careful precise work! We truly love it all so much!

    Dalcrete Decorative Concrete Inc
They did a great job with removing the old/broken pool deck and placing the new decking. Fernando came out and gave a very specific bid for the work to be done. He was very responsive when I asked him via email a question or two about the job before I decided to have him do the work. Once I told him I wanted him to do it, he scheduled it and always showed up right when he said he would. We are very pleased and will definitely contact him again for work in the future.

    CNC Concrete
Once we determined this was the best quote, CNC was out the next day. They demolished about 14 feet of existing sidewalk, set forms, put in rebar & poured the concrete all in the same day. They came back the next day to remove the forms, their warning cones and clean up around the jobsite. The new sidewalk looks great and they made the process smooth & easy. I heartily recommend them & will definitely use them if i need this kind of work again.

    Texas Best Fence
Seems to have difficulties in organizing a project quote On June 13, Keith from Texas Best Fence came by to view and quote my project to fix a stone stairway, landing and retaining wall that was cracked from settling. Keith was very personable and reasonably knowledgeable, which made my initial impression of the company favorable. On leaving Keith committed to having a written quote to me no later than the following afternoon. After hearing nothing I called Keith on the 15th and was assured that I would receive a written quote later in the day by email. Two weeks later, still no email, so I followed up again with a call to the office. Keith was not available, but I was assured by the person managing the desk that she would forward the quote later in the afternoon. Four days later still no response.

    Complete Outdoor Concepts
I contracted Complete Outdoor Concepts to pour a stamped concrete patio, build a cedar patio cover and replace my old fence with a 8' board on board cedar fence. Gary gave me a fair price and his crew was excellent. I'm a particular person and pay attention to the details and whenever I had an issue or question Gary was very responsive and we were able to work everything out to my satisfaction. The patio, cover and fence turned out beautiful and the work completed by his crew was so great that I decided to ask Gary to have them add another stamped concrete patio extension, a wood burning stone fire pit and a stone bench surrounding the fire pit. Again, I felt Gary provided me a fair quote and his crew did a fast and excellent job on that project. Complete Outdoor Concepts turned my backyard from plain and bare to a showplace. I'm very happy with the quality and the workmanship.

    Arbors and Patios
Luis has done an excellent work. I had to do multiple changes in the middle of the project and he was happy to make changes without any additional charges. It was a learning curve on the city setback rules about covered patio and on pergola. He worked with city to get the permits on each of my changes. The quality of the work was top notch!

    Complete Outdoor Concepts
The service they did was great but their customer service wasn't. They didn't communicate timetable. They didn't communicate expectations upfront. Everything was delayed. There was no communication about when they were going to start. They had a poor management of their subcontractors.

    Medallion Pools
We interviewed 5 pool companies. Medallion was the worst presentation AND the worst overall experience. It started out promising. Medallion came to our house and spent over an hour with us discussing what we were looking for in a pool. We talked about the style and components we wanted to have. We wanted a geometric pool, no free-form, with salt water generator and Pebbletec finish. We wanted to integrate the decking with our current covered patio, but did not want a lot of hardscape. We also wanted an arbor for shading. We spent quite a bit of time discussing the specifics of what we were looking for...something clean lined and more contemporary. He seemed to understand what we wanted. He asked questions and spent quite a bit of time taking measurements of our yard. We live on a corner lot so we even went outside and discussed placement of the pool and arbor and a little about how they would do the build. For example, access for equipment and grading. He said there would be more discussion when we came into the office for the design. We received a call from Tayler in the office to set up an appointment for about a week later. We came into the office for our meeting and I would have to say I was immediately disappointed. On the screen our presentation had 3 components: 1. a rectangular-shaped pool (not even the size we indicated), 2. a generic outline of our house (no roof line, windows or anything, 3. a generic water feature (very traditional with two basins) There was no landscape, no decking, almost nothing. When I asked why there wasn't much done, he said - "We can't design it without you being here, we don't know what you want." When I said we spent an hour discussing what we wanted during their visit to the house, the response was, "We don't do that." Basically, they design it when you come into the office. I could not believe it! After coming to our home and spending an hour with us discussing what we wanted, I expected something more than what I could drop into a CAD program in 15 minutes. Pool - drop in, water feature - drop in. The only thing that may have taken a little time would be the house. But since there were no windows, the covered patio leading out to the house was not drawn correctly nor was there any roof line or anything to identify it as actually our homethat probably was a drop in also. Every other pool builder we interviewed actually spent time creating a design for our pool and backyard that addressed exactly what we discussed. They were ALL fully rendered with pool design, decking, the house, furniture and landscaping and two had 3D movement throughout. Basically, they were showing what they envisioned for our pool based on discussions we had (the same discussion we had with Medallion Pools). While we were there, we mentioned 3 of the basins would look better than just two. We asked him to add the decking to the pool. I asked what about landscape and he added a few bushes. We were there about 50" for him to do that. He did not seem to be well versed in the computer program he was using. We briefly looked at possible decking stone and he said he would work on it and email it to us later. When we were emailed the project later - it looked exactly like it looked when we left. He did not work on it any further to improve the look. There was no furniture, no landscaping, nothing. I dont even think the water feature, as built, would even work properly since the water would probably splash and run down the sides. There was another employee designing a pool when we were at the office for another client and I mentioned to my husband that it was more like my expectation of what we would see for our project. Tayler (office assistant?) was pleasant and professional each time I called. I also thought Russell was fine when he came for the initial visit to my home. My main complaint is the minimal effort put into the design of our project.

    Complete Outdoor Concepts
They finished one day after their original estimated completion date. Marc who was the project manager was very professional and knowledgeable. We hope to use them in the future to do landscaping around our swimming pool. The owner and project manager and crews were all very easy to work with. They were able to finish 2 days ahead of schedule, within our budget and with a quality of workmanship that exceeded our expectations. The cedar arbor looks great and provides us allot of shade and reduces the heat also. We did add a ceiling fan to cool it off the area. Overall I would give them an A.
