  • I like him very much personally. He is a very nice gentleman and very gracious. However, he will say that he was going to be there and he does not show up and does not bother to call. A job like this was supposed to take one week. He said that he would have it out in one week. I told him that I would give him two weeks just in case something comes up, and it took him over six weeks to complete the job. He kept disappearing on me. It is frustrating, but this guy is hard to get mad at because he is just so nice.

  • I can not say enough good things about this company - Neil (owner) came to our house to view the scope of work, arrived when he said he would, surveyed the work to be done, made a couple of recommendations (which we followed) and gave an estimate.  We agreed to the work and price, scheduled a time for the work to be done.  Let me say, it was great to work with this company.  They showed up on-time, with everything they needed to get the job done.  They where very careful as well as respectful to the property, the men working had all the trees and branches down, cleaned up and hauled away on the same day, as promised.  The price was the estimate.  The only way you could tell they were even there was the trees where missing!  That is a great thing.  We (my wife and I) were so impressed and pleased - we decided to have a second smaller job done with the same great results.  These guys do a great job, clean up after themselves and get the job done right the first time.  Pricing id reasonable and work is grade A+.   The branch that had to come down was hollow - so without being asked they foamed and painted to prevent further rot on the rest of the tree.  Neil came by a couple of days later to check on the foam fill, decided it needed more in the branch and took care of it without having to be asked - let us know he would be back to check on the branch (he did) and that he considered this follow up as part of the job.  So nice to see follow through and professionalism of this high caliber.  Very pleased.

  • I checked out the new nursery in town after just stumbling upon in this year. The only down fall I saw was the location makes them a little known treasure in our town. They are only a year old and were super friendly and helpful! I picked several varieties of vegetable plants (including most of my spring garden plants) I also picked several of the gallon potted plants they had. They looked so healthy and cared for I couldn't go to the local big box store and buy them! They sold everything so much cheaper than I can get it  anywhere else! I will go back!

  • Matt returned my call within 24 hours regarding a bid for a small job at our home (3 other landscapers did not get back for several days or at all). His vision and estimate were right in line with ours. We had a bit of a rough start getting started with a couple of mis-communications and then some weather delay. The work was completed to our complete satisfaction and within the timeline he committed to when he started work. We couldn't be happier with the final product!

  • Overall they performed the job but it took significantly longer than we were lead to believe. In addition, the owner was generally not on site and typically did not return calls or emails. Not very responsive to concerns about details that arose after completion of the project.

  • The orginal estimate was $6500.00 for the initial dead tree removal. My husband contract for an additional $19,000.00 for more dead tree removal and limb trim with some brush clearance. At no time were we aware of all the extra expenses. We truly thought that the above prices were for the whole job. However, they charged an additional $5,976.00 for stump grinding, $12,600.00 for debris removal, $700.00 for chipper loads, an extra $3,000 for something, as well as an extra $95.00 on the second estimate. They did much more work than I had wanted as well. I was out of town, my husband at work, and when I returned my entire privacy screen from the highway had been will never grow back in my lifetime! Their reasoning was that my husband would need to get his tractor through the trees to mow! Mow What! We are completely exposed now and after using money in our IRA (that we will be taxed on) we are considering selling our home! If you use these guys make sure to ask hundreds of questions and get it all in writing....and never not be there when they are on your property.

  • Without consulting the client, or the adjoining neighbor who owns the trees, they cut these trees back so far that it took away from the attraction of the trees. They did this without any regard to the shape of the trees. The only thing they needed to do was knock on the door and ask what the client or wanted to do. The client and I were extremely upset, and I talked with the owner of the roofing company and he walked away from me. We no longer have shade that we used to have.

  • I sold a 400 acres ranch 2 years ago and they are still doing different landscaping to different parts. I saw it last weekend and they had added a beautiful patio area and rocked around the driveway, and cleaned out all the landscaping that had just been let go wild,it looked like a park. . . so they do a little of everything.

  • Sorry. No more details except perhaps one thing: he was willing to cart off all of the cutting -- a large amount from some ancient oak trees. Most would balk at this. I have allergy-asthma, have to avoid burning brush because of the irritating smoke which makes Blohm's help in this matter particularly important.
