    First of all, the owner was terrific - he had two guys available the same day. The team arrived when they said they would, and were very professional. They even plastic wrapped the sofas to carry them up and down the stairs to prevent them getting scratches. Having their help to put the outdoor furniture away was like a dream, and I am going to call them again in the spring to help set it up. Highly recommend them!

    FANTASTIC MOVES
    I was referred to Fantastic Moves by an ex-mover who spoke highly about them. From my first contact, it was nothing but a pleasure working with them. They were not my cheapest option but I chose them based on good reviews and the good feeling they gave me over the phone and in person. I am so glad I chose them. Their movers were very professional and ultra-careful about moving stuff in a way that would not damage anything. In the end, they moved my entire house to Florida from Dallas right on time and with no surprise charges. They packed me in Dallas and unpacked in Florida. They were very courteous, friendly and willing to make sure I was pleased with their work. One little thing got damaged. It was not a big deal but Bo, their mover, brought it to my attention and was distraught over it. He told me they prided themselves on not breaking anything. He immediately called home office to report it and they made it right for me. I was very impressed with how concerned everyone was for me. I hope I don't have to move again but, if I do, I will definitely call them first. I can't recommend them highly enough.

    The overall service provided was exceptional.  We have been through several moves before using professional companies, but this crew was likely the best we have experienced.  Professionalism and courtesy was provided all the way from setting the reservation, to a follow-up call confirming the reservation, to the timeliness and work ethic of the crew.  I have to say they handled every piece with care and worked continuously through the whole move.  We will definitely hire this company again!

    I requested a quote from AM Moving a few months before our move.  They responded very quickly.  A few days before our move, I still hadn't booked anyone and was frantically calling the best rated movers I could find on Yelp.  Most of them were expensive, and others were already booked.  I started to panic, and that's when I decided to e-mail AM Moving company to see if they had any availability.  Lucky for me, they did!  Again, they responded quickly, and said they had an opening at 9am.  I replied back immediately to book the time.  They again responded right away with a confirmation.  They also offered the best rate ($95 per hour, 3 men, 3 hour minimum, $40 fuel charge) compared to all the other companies ($100-$125 per hour) I had called.  The day of our move, I received a call from Miguel letting me know that they were a few minutes away.  They arrived right at 9am.  As soon as Roman walked into our apartment, he noticed all of our brand new boxes.  He gave me a tip and told me to check Craigslist next time because people are always giving away free boxes!  The guys were all very friendly, they worked fast, were extremely careful with all of our belongings, and were very sweet to my 4 year old daughter.  I was so nervous about the move, but am so happy that we got a great team to help us.  We are only here for 6 months while we build our house and will be moving again.  I made sure to get their business cards and names before they left so that I can request them again in November.  These guys were amazing!  You won't be disappointed!  Be sure to request ROMAN, MIGUEL AND FREDDIE!!!!  They will take great care of you!

    It was a bit chaotic.  My husband was attempting to keep things organized but was repeatedly ignored by the movers.  They just wanted to keep piling things into the unit regardless of whether it meant our stuff would be stored without damage or not.  For example, I asked them not to put too many things on the treadmill so that it wouldn't be damaged, but they ignored me and I had to move things myself.  It was extremely frustrating.  This happened throughout the entire move.

    Over committed  -  Under Performed! All was good up to the day of move.  Barely arrived in the quoted time.  Driver put the wrong city in his GPS. Crew was dysfunctional, argued among themselves, one threatening numerous times to leave the job.  The lead gave no direction to the crew and the move took hours longer than it should have.  Goods were put in storage.  On June 4th, I notified Element that I wanted the goods delivered on July 8th.  The actual delivery date was July 14th! Delivery was okay with the exception of boxes looking like someone had jumped on them and several pieces of furniture damaged!  The claim process was made laborous by the lack of responsiveness.  First claim for damage was emailed on 8/23.  On 9/21 after calling to get status, I had to resend the claim.  The representative said they couldn't open the attachment on the original submittal.  Between 8/23 and 9/21 I was not notified that there was a problem.  I only discovered this when I called to get a status on the claim. On 9/27 I resubmitted the claim with the additional information that was requested.  After again calling to get status I finally received a claim settlement letter to sign on 10/9.  I signed and returned it on 10/12.  According to their policies I should have received a check 14 business days after claim receipt which would have been 11/1.  I was told the check was mailed on 11/2.  The postal date on the envelope was 11/12.  I called on 11/12 to get the status of the check and that is the date it was mailed.  Each step in this required phone calls or emails to get something to happen.  The customer service and follow up is the worst I have ever experienced. I would never use them for a move again!!
    They advertise as having received the Angie's List Superior Provider Award - 2013. Really?
