  M&M Pest & Wildlife

  Estimator came out the next day and negotiated cost. Service man came on the day scheduled, but was running late. Courteous and well equipped. Set 9 traps in the attic and two in the garage. (My attic is very difficult to negotiate but he did a good job.) Returned the next week and the traps had caught two rats. Returned the following week but no critters were trapped. Will return next week for another check. I asked about insulation and wiring in attic and he said he checked and I do not have a problem. I asked to see the rats and he showed me...... ....peuuuuu...will not ask again. I am very pleased with the young man doing the work and the lady that answers the phone and sets up appointments. Always get an email with the scheduled date.

  Tried another (unnamed here) Angie's List provider. He had us spend hours in preparation by removing everything from the shelves and cupboards in our kitchen prior to his arrival. It took about as long to put back all the plates, pans, cups and saucers as it did for the roaches to reappear. Hagan Gunstream came to our house, assessed the situation, didn't have us remove anything from the shelves, applied his treatment and was gone within 45 minutes. So were all the roaches. I'll bring him back in the summer to to an outside and inside preventive treatment. Great job!

  They arrived as scheduled, checked out my critter problem, provided me choices for prevention, and quoted me a price. They first placed a barrier around the house below (pier & beam) and then set traps. A possum and snake were caught. Rat bait was also set out, but no dead rats were observed after a week. People were friendly and worked diligently.

  They were out to my house and they did good work. In Texas we have hot as heck and we have cool and pleasant, so they weren't here in the dead of summer. They were reasonably priced and I was happy to pay them. They charged what the agreement was and they got the work done. I would use them again.

  Went great. The tech, Richard, was friendly and helpful, answered all my questions. I pointed where i had seen most of the ants and he made sure to put preventative goop in the outlets. He pointed out areas that I could fix up to help keep bugs out in the future. It's been over a month now and I haven't seen a single ant in the house!

  Tech walked around the house sprayed the corners. Worthless, his so called treatment didn't kill anything. Still had ants spiders and other pests walking over the exact places he sprayed. Lost faith on Angie's List. Will never use them or Angie's list again.

  HK Pest Control Services

  There was basically nothing satisfactory about the experience. HK Pest Control was supposed to arrive between 2:00 and 3:00 p.m. on May 26, 2017. However, the exterminator did not arrive on-time. When he did arrive, he did not come in a company vehicle or in a uniform, so there was no indication that he worked for HK Pest Control. My husband was even hesitant to allow him into our home. The exterminator then asked my husband where he could get some water so that he could mix his chemicals. I personally would have expected that he would arrive with the chemicals he needed ready and prepared for use. The exterminator proceeded to spray both the interior and exterior of the house. He DID NOT spread granules around the exterior perimeter of the house as listed in the deal. Also, he reported that he WAS NOT QUALIFIED to complete the termite inspection that was also part of the deal. He told my husband that someone would call on Monday or Tuesday and come out to do the termite inspection. We have neither received a call or a visit from anyone from the company to complete the termite inspection. This company was completely unprofessional and did not do what was stated in the deal. Furthermore, our indoor pest problem has not been resolved. We want nothing to do with this company again. I don't trust them to do a decent job, and I would be hesitant to trust whatever they report from a termite inspection. I would like a refund so that I can hire a different company to perform the pest control services.
