Plumber reviews in Fairview

  • Very nice job. I wasn't sure if the handle was the only problem, so felt lucky to have someone I knew help me when I couldn't get the water to turn off! Have used them before and have kitchen remodel planned. Good people to work with.

  • Project went well, very pleased with outcome. Good team, professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to doing a good job. Answered questions willingly and pleasant to work with. Plan to have them replace deck and put insulation in attic. Have an older home, so good to have someone capable in that area.

  • Al Ohler did a great job, particularly since the water heaters were in the attic and the outside air temperature was over 100 degrees. He was very, very responsive and the communication was really good. He also explained many available options for the installation so that we could make an informed decision before proceeding.

  • After having been abandoned by another plumber who wanted to charge me double what he quoted after he started, Felix and his team at Hackler came in and took over. They were on-time, stayed on budget, and went above beyond to help us get back in our home. They even came up with some creative ways to fix some areas that would have otherwise required drywall removal. Sheena in the office was also very courteous and responsive. I can't say enough positive things about them. Hackler Plumbing has a customer for life.

  • I had called another plumber that wouldn’t be available until the next day, so I tried Staggs because they had good reviews. I was definitely glad that I did. They came out right on time, explained what they thought was the problem (blockage to the septic tank) and how much it would cost. They were able to get everything fixed up in less than an hour and they were very polite and helpful. They will be my go-to plumbers from now on.

  • DFW did an outstanding job. They turned the house into an adorable cottage. When I put the house on the market, everyone commented on how much they liked the interior. I did not have one negative comment about the interior, only compliments. Every person I dealt with at DFW was kind and considerate. Their excellent customer service deserves an award of it's own. I would recommend this company to anyone and I plan to use them again soon at my home.

  • They did not find a leak. They’re very prompt. I don’t have any trouble with get someone out within a reasonable time. They’re not as expensive as a lot of them are and they seem to be very honest. Like they told me, in the future you might want to think about upgrading this toilet because this is a builder’s grade toilet. They didn’t try too hard to sell me, like this is a terrible toilet you really need to buy this kind. They suggested and they told me what the issues were but they didn’t hard sell me. They were very good at cleaning up after themselves. They were excellent about explaining things to me. That’s one of the things that I really like about them. They’re very clear about the explanation and the future, that sort of thing. There’s a couple of times I would ask them for things, like my handyman had suggested my toilet my need to have a seal in it because the stuff that seals it to the floor was deteriorating, and he said that it may be because the seal in the toilet is rotting and you may need to have a plumber plug this up. I had them out and the guy looked at it and said I don’t know why the seal is deteriorating there, but I don’t think you have a problem in that toilet. I don’t think we need to pull it up because the sealant around it may not look good, but it’s dry. He said, maybe you got water on the floor at some time and that made it look bad, but if there was a problem in there then you would be wet, so he saved me a lot of money by not doing what I normally called him out to do.

  • I hired Classic after reading good reviews. Unfortunately my review is not good. Alex came out and I explained that I had replaced the faucet stems and seats multiple times but every time I ended up with loose handles that would never stay tight. I decided a professional would have better parts and skill to fix it correctly and I would finally have something that looks good, worked good, and didn't feel like it was coming apart all the time. Alex got part of the job done the first day but had to come back another day to finish because he needed some parts he didn't have, which was not a problem. On the followup day Alex returned almost an hour late with no attempt at letting me know he was running late. When he finished some of the new handles were already a little wobbly right at the start. He said, after the work was done, oh, there is noting I can do about that. But that was specifically what I told him was the reason I called a plumber in the first place, and before doing the work he told me sure he could fix it. He should have told me that up front that the replacement parts were still going to be wobbly, but of course I would not have approved the work to proceed if he had told me that up front. The water spout right under the value had a gap that I had taped over with duct tape. It was obvious to me that was to be address also as part of the overall job, otherwise it would still look like crap. But Alex didn't do anything with that, said it was only cosmetic. Not true, the gap allowed water to leak into the wall. In either case he said there was noting that could be done about it, other that filling the gap with caulk which he didn't bother to do. (By the way, Home Depot sells a trim piece just for this purpose, (Store SKU #790217, $2.99), one would think a plumber would know about this since I am pretty sure I am not the only person to ever have a gab at the spout) With the bloated rates plumbers charge, you would think they could spend another 10 minutes to make the job look finished. When I told Alex that the work was not satisfactory for the reasons noted above, he quickly became belligerent and just said “I am out of here” and left. On a side note, I also asked for a quote on replacing 2 water heaters and got a quote of $3200 as a “reduced price” since the location where they go was fairly easy to get to. A quote for the same work from another well established plumber was $2300, almost 1/3rd less. So I cannot recommend Classic Plumbing, and I certainly cannot recommend Alex if you do decide to go with them.

  • Got home from work to find the expansion tank had sprung a leak and water was all over the garage. Called The Water Heater Guys and they came out within 2 hours on my calling (other companies I called were non-responsive) and fixed the problem. Very knowledgeable and professional. They were even able to provide recommendations to have someone come out and inspect the sheetrock. I definitely recommend this company and would hire again.

  • Jacob, Justin and Oscar deserve infinite stars! All 3 came out to fix our plumbing issues about a week and a half ago and they did a fantastic job! They were very professional, courteous, knowledgeable, extremely nice and friendly and punctual. Poor guys had to work under the crawl space which I am sure was unpleasant. We are so glad that we chose Baker Brothers Plumbing. We were happy with their services from day one when Jacob came out to give us an estimate. He was very thorough in assessing the situation and knowledgeable of what needed to be done. He also gave us the total estimate of costs that same day, which we appreciated very much. We agreed to the terms that same day and scheduled the work to begin the following week. Should we ever need to call a plumber in the future, we'll be sure to call them again and I will be referring them to anyone I know who's in need of a plumber. Thank you Jacob, Justin and Oscar! We truly appreciate all of your hard and great work!
