Marble & Granite reviews in Fairview

  • DFW did an outstanding job. They turned the house into an adorable cottage. When I put the house on the market, everyone commented on how much they liked the interior. I did not have one negative comment about the interior, only compliments. Every person I dealt with at DFW was kind and considerate. Their excellent customer service deserves an award of it's own. I would recommend this company to anyone and I plan to use them again soon at my home.

  • This is the second time we have used Stone Cutters. The first time was for the kitchen in our own home, this time was for a rental house we are renovating to put on the market. We explained the situation to Robert and said we were trying to keep costs down but at the same time we were in a rush to get things completed. The estimate Robert supplied was very fair so we agreed to proceed. The initial plan was to try to keep the existing tile back splash in the kitchen but since the tiles had been in place for over 30 years it wasn't too surprising that the plan didn't quite work out and some of the tiles were cracked during the counter top removal. The installation of the granite continued and the next day Robert sent his tile man to remove the old back splash and install a new one. We were impressed by the speed with which Robert got the job completed.

  • We wanted our laundry room remodeled so we called several companies for estimates and after some deliberations decided on Agape.  We told them we wanted to extend 2 feet into the garage on the back wall and four feet  past the doorway into the garage.  We had them build a cabinet for the washer/dryer.  They also put a farmhouse sink and lower cabinets with granite over the washer/dryer and sink area. We kept our existing upper cabinets but had them painted white.  Matt, also made some built-in shoe cubbies to accommodate my shoes.  Alex installed a rod for hanging clothes to dry.  The tile floor that was laid looks beautiful.

We also had a bit of work done in the kitchen.  We had a large pullout drawer that looks like a cabinet made to fit a space that had once held a wine fridge.  The drawer was for holding cutting boards, large platters, cookie sheets, etc.  The cabinet guy, Matt, did an amazing job of matching the stain from the other cabinets.  He also built a pullout drawer for all my heavy pots and pans so I don't have struggle to get them out of the cabinet anymore.

Alex and his assistant showed up on time every day.  They were polite and accommodating. Their attention to detail was meticulous.  They did a wonderful job.  The laundry room looks amazing.  I've had many compliments on it.

  • I called based on the reviews here on this site. Robert, the owner, talked me through his services. He was very professional in setting up the appointment. They were able to come out that same week. He did all the work himself with his wife assisting. They carefully covered all the faucets and cabinets before spraying. The tub was just to be done in white to match the existing color. He helped me pick out what colors to do on the counters and made sure I was happy with the way it was turning out as the process was done. These were all in the Jack and Jill bath so they needed to match. Once the areas were resurfaced, they left fans blowing to help with the odor. I was aware it was going to smell as he told me all of this over the phone. The next morning they arrived to put the final sealant, caulk everything and remove all the covered items. Everything turned out fantastic. The tub looks just like new. The cultured marble counter tops have a great second new life! The Formica counter top looks so much better than before. I am very happy with the results. Not to mention, I feel it is so much more economical to give these a new look and extend their life at a fraction of the cost of changing everything out.

  • I can't say enough about how wonderful these people are. From the initial estimate, to the service at their location. Tina was so helpful and patient in dealing with our indecisiveness! The crews were professional, friendly, on time, and cleaned up after themselves. Our new kitchen is beautiful! It couldn't have gone better. We will be installing hardwood floors soon, and will definitely be using them again.

  • They have beautiful stone products and the installation went well. We did want our ceramic cooktop flush-mounted but, they did not do that and after installation it was too late. When they installed the tile they did not understand what we wanted and then they didn't want to do all of cutting that was required of the design. The grout lines are not straight. If I were to do business with them I would deal with Charles Ashcroft, not Tim Kozinski.
