  • While I appreciated the quick and accurate diagnosis and treatment, I was not introduced to the doctor. There was a young man that walked in the room, I assumed he was the doctor, again, he never introduced himself either,....I'm guessing he was a tech though, because then another older gentleman came in, looked at my cat for a little bit as well, then made his diagnosis, walked out of the door, came back with a shot...didn't tell me what it was.... he literally walked in and put the needle into my cat.... didn't tell me anything, I mean of course I assumed it was treatment, but it just happened so fast and I was just surprised, and so I was asking him possible side effects, how long is this going to take to work, how long will it last....not really very much information given. Then the older gentleman that gave him the shot just kind of walked out, never saw him again. I asked a couple questions about some follow-up treatment they had given me, i asked this to the younger gentleman, who I believe was the tech. I wasn't really told that was the end of the visit or anything....it was just just not the bedside manner that I would want. Additionally, when I first walked into the clinic there was a cat loose, which is totally fine, I understand some businesses, especially a vet's office has animals that roam around....however, the room that we went into, the door was left open and that cat eventually jumped up onto the table with my cat, while my cat was out of his carrier, s/he scared my cat, causing him to hiss, he's already upset because he's at the vet's office being poked and prodded. S/he just jumped from the table around up on top of the wall. Really?? :/

  • She did wonderfully and really took the time to make sure the dogs were comfortable, ate fully and went outside.  This was her first visit with us and she kept us up to date with pictures and also confirmed their status with us to make sure that everything was ok.  It was our first time allowing anyone besides family to watch our babies and I couldn't have been more happier with how it turned out and I will definitley be using her again in the future.

  • Having had my cats treated there for several years I felt confident that my cat would be professionally groomed. Unfortunately, three weeks after his bath, my cat was diagnosed with ringworm, which he then spread to my geriatric 19 year old cat. Both of my cats have been indoor all of their lives with no contact with other animals other than at Hartland vet, yet they indicated that my cat could have gotten it "anywhere." Dr. Hartland never talked to me directly although I requested several times that she call me. To add insult to injury, they misdiagnosed both of my cats. Declaring one of them ringworm free after only keeping the culture for 10 days and after Lyme dipping my 19 year old (no other vet felt that was safe) said he was clean after reading the culture for only 5 days!!!! Most vets keep a culture for 21 days at minimum. I asked multiple times if I could let them out of confinement at was told repeatedly that they were ringworm free. NOT!!!! Also, they never returned my call when my 19 year old reacted dramatically to the dip and I had to take him to an emergency vet. After almost 6 months (Oct 2016 thru April 2017) and over $2000 of treatments we are still battling this highly contagious fungus on a daily basis. It has been a nightmare and HartlandVet has taken absolutely no responsibility. Shame on them! Stay away from this vet!!!!

  • They are very kind people and we’ve had to put down two animals there and they were respectful. The prices are very reasonable to other placed we’ve been in the past. They will discuss options with you before and prices and possible outcomes.

  • It was a good price. They do remarkable work and are quick. They don't put them in a cage for hours, even if I leave the animal with them for hours while they're trimming them. They do one animal at a time, schedule for me to come in, they do it, and they call, so I have the dog back within an hour to two hours. My dog is a Golden Retriever and it takes a long time to dry his hair. They have him back within a couple of hours.

  • Martha was wonderful! My family took a week-long vacation and never had to worry about our animals back at home. Cats don't generally need a lot of tending to, so we weren't overly concerned, but Martha offered to send us daily updates and pictures if we wanted. My cats warmed up to Martha fairly quickly - one of them even came up to her on the first visit, a couple of weeks before we left town. Martha is very professional and thorough. She asked all the right questions on meeting the cats, and clearly followed up on what we'd discussed while we were gone. I will absolutely call on her again in the future!

  • They are good, friendly and competent. They are prompt. One time when we had an appointment in the afternoon and it was very hot, we showed up a few minutes late. They wouldn’t attend to us until they were done with all the people there and it was very discouraging.

  • They have taken excellent care of our dogs for at least 10 years. Our chihuahua, Bossie, had multiple health problems as he aged, including cushings disease. They gave him a good quality of life and when he developed a hole in his heart, they were very supportive to both him and us when he had to be put down. Our dog, JP, a chihuahua/terrier mix, has diabetes, separation anxiety and skin allergies. Because he is familiar with the vet techs, they are able to bath him, cut his nails, and care for him without him becoming too anxious. They allow me to do his glucose curves at home, so he doesn't have to spend the day at the vet. He doesn't willingly go to strangers, so I'm glad he has his favorite techs, it makes the visit a lot easier. The one problem i do have, is they have problems making sure JP?s diabetic food is in each month, when I have asked them many times to make sure it is ordered each month. Our dog, Max, a chiweenie, is very anxious with strangers and he does well with the staff here.

  • They showed up on time and did a wonderful job of grooming our dogs. We asked for a certain cut and got it. We asked that no perfumes be used and they did not use perfumes. They were on time and very courteous. All we had to do was hand over the dogs and they brought time back to the front door after they were groomed.

  • I have used them five times. They are wonderful. I found them on Google because I wasn't happy with the other people that I had left my dogs with. They aren't to far away. I have left my dogs there two times in the last month. I would tell people to use them. It's the first time that I have let my dogs out of the car and they eagerly run in, they are happy there. They have a big open area for them to play. They will hold them. They have a huge open area in the back yard for them. My dogs love it and that is unusual for them. I will continue to use them.
