First they were available when I needed them because they rearranged there schedules to accommodate us. Very nice and professional over the phone and they gave me confidence in there ability. Family owned and only father and son's moved me. I was impressed with their working relationship . Importantly to me they are strong Christian men that do what they say, not everyone is that way today. You will like them. Thanks Dean & team.

He checked the roof and repaired two screws that backed out and also the vent pipe was resealed. He also went down to rows of screws and resealed them to make sure they did not leak. He was very detailed and explained everything.

Their service has been very good; we have known him for a long time. He is very conscientious. He used to be with another company and started his own business. He has been doing it for a lot of years. He does have a very good connection with several suppliers and is able to give very good prices because of that long term relationship.

When all was completed Mike called for the best time to bring my boat back.

It looked better than NEW.  He did a terrific job.  He's been doing this for 42 Years and complete GUARANTEED!

if you are in need of his work, I highly recommend him!

First he took 3 weeks to complete a job that could have been easily done in a week.

The quality of cabinet resealing was good.

His painting the paneling in the living room was sloppy--lots of runs and missed areas in corners and cracks. I had him rework the problem areas and they are ok.

Texturing in the hall bath was problematic but acceptable after multiple tries. I had him completely retexture once and touch up several times   Very sloppy with texture.  He did not tape off door trim or tile area and left lots of texture on them.  He simply repainted over it.  Corners between walls and walls and ceilings had blobs.  Left texture and paint on tub tile surround.  Lots of clean up left for me to deal with.

Texturing in entry had one really sloppy edge.  Glaze was absorbed on the ceiling and left with no effort to touch up.

Texturing in the master bath was a disaster.  I talked to him about it several (at least 4 times during the process) and he made attempts to redo but left it in worse condition than before.  I called him back after the job was completed and again he wanted to rework it.  Again it was worse than before.

He assured me on more than one occasion that the texturing had not been done properly and that I should not feel bad about asking that it be redone.

I asked for two doors to be installed in the initial remodeling.  I explained that I wanted the exterior door to match existing doors in the area and asked that he take a photograph of them to make certain they matched.  He did not and brought a door that was totally different to install.  The difference was not subtle but was significantly different. I did not let him install the door.   When I got his final bill he billed me $120 more for the door than was quoted and told me it was a special order and could not be returned.  I paid him the $250 that he had quoted for the door and he took the door with him telling me that was more than fair but made no effort to adjust it.

At the end of August I noticed that  the interior door that was installed had started to come apart.  I texted him that we needed to talk.  I was still very unhappy with the texturing and painting in the master bath and the door coming apart was a final major frustration.  I waited two weeks but did not hear from him.  I called and talked to him about the problem.  At this time I asked that he simply reimburse me for the texturing and painting in the master bath and the interior door that was coming apart.   He told me he would call me back when he had time in his schedule.

As of this date (Oct. 24, 2014), I have not heard from him.  On Sept. 15, 2014, I sent a letter requiring a signature telling him that I had had the work done by another person.  I sent receipts for paint and a new door plus contractor charges and materials  for a total of $419.96 including photographs of problems and the repairs.  I have had no response from him.

    UPDATE:

My mom is alive and well. She does live in a nursing home and I am her caretaker.  Much of my emotional state came from his taking three weeks to do a one week job and the issues that occurred with the quality of some of his work. His comments about the custom made door are not accurate.   He acknowledged that the texturing in the master bath was not done properly and that had every right to ask that it be redone and he redid it several times--each time it was worse.  If he spent as much time on detail as he does bragging about working for judges and lawyers, the quality of his work would be much better. I included photos of the problems before and after having them redone. They clearly show the issues that are being discussed.  I realize that he has no intention of compensating me for the work that had to be redone and that is ok. If he can live with his decision then I certainly can. I would ask why no one has left any comments on his website. There are no negative ones but there are no positive ones either. After all these years in the business I question why not a single client chooses to express an opinion.  As a person he is very personable; however, he is a very sloppy painter and texturer.

McAree was hired to build a custom boat dock and boat lifts for two docks.  McAree had us write a check up front for the two boat lifts.  When the boat lifts arrived, we pointed out to him that they did not appear to be the shallow water lifts we bought and paid for.  He argued that they were the shallow water lifts and he went ahead and installed them.  As the lake level started going down a few inches, the float system for the boat lifts was on the bottom of the lake, so we called the supplier of the boat lifts to see what could be done to remedy the situation.  He informed us that we needed the shallow water boat lift systems and that is not what our contractor bought and installed.  We immediately notified McAree that the boat lifts he installed were not working and were not the ones we bought and paid for having installed.  He promised to pick up the boat lifts and take them to Missouri to exchange them.
A dozen texts, 10 unanswered phone calls, numerous excuses and broken promises later, the boat lifts and the dock and nonoperational and not usable.  McAree is not returning our phone calls at this time and the flotation system for the boat lifts is sitting in our back yard.

It went great, after a small problem at the start. I had decided to hire a contractor, that I thought could do the job, and I would be there to work side by side with him. After one day, I realized that it wasnt going to work( he portrayed himself off as a finish carpenter , but turned out to be a framer at best!! When a couple of the guys at Hootens heard of my dilemma they put me in contact with a carpenter that was so good , that we ended doing more work

Similiar to a Green Acres Episode
We were sitting on our porch of our new house that we just bought (we just moved to the country from the city) with our new neighbor talking and it came up our powered gate is broken. A couple of days later the doorbell rings and it's Mr. Haney (Clawson Electric) to say they are here to look at our gate.  Knowing I didn't call anyone (since we really don't have the money to fix our gate right now), I asked who called them and they said our neighbor (Fred Ziffel) called.  I assumed that they were good friends or something ... After looking at our gate they said it needed some work, but that they don't work on gates. ... (wondering why they came out in the first place then ..)
A few days later we get a bill for a service call for $75.00.  A service call to come and look at a gate that they know they don't work on ... So I called their office to talk to them and tell them I would be willing to split the bill down the middle (just to keep the peace between me and my new neighbor) if ihe would  please in the future call the customer to set up the appointment.  Mr. Haney (Wendall Clawson) proceeded to tell me he had no fault in the situation and he did not have time for this conversation.  He said he is not an "investigator" and does not have the time to investigate people who call him for service.  I explained that it might be best to keep this from happening again if he would respond to the neighbor by telling them that the  customer would need to call directly.  He told me he disagreed, that he held no fault in the situation, and that he did NOT HAVE TIME to be on the phone with me.  Wow!  WELCOME TO GREEN ACRES!

Raintree Cabinets was very prompt and very courteous.  He measured and we discussed what he was going to do.  He said that the current cabinets were lacquered and that he would do the new doors and drawers to match in just a few days.
I had received other bids, but no one had offered to match the cabinets and his bid was higher by a few hundred dollars, but with his assurance that they would be finished, I agreed to pay additional.  Within the week, he called to tell me that my cabinets were ready and would be installed the next day.  He requested cash payment so my husband and I went to the bank and when we returned half of the cabinets were already installed.
They were beautifully constructed, but did not in any way match the honey oak.  They looked like raw wood with clear lacquer on them.  I was so upset and my husband tried to talk to him.  He told my husband that he could strip the existing boxes or just wait and the doors would yellow with time!!  There was no way these raw wood doors would ever match!!!!
I feel that I should have gotten a sample of a completed door or drawer to show what color they were going to be.  I just didn't ask for a sample and he didn't offer.  That was my mistake.  ALWAYS ASK FOR A SAMPLE.
After he left, I called a painter and they are charging me $600.00 to refinish the doors and cabinets to be the same color.  I should have requested them be left unfinished, but hind sight is always 20/20!!!

They were extremely professional and did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. The price was very reasonable for the amount of fence we installed. They worked hard and long in Texas heat in August. What more can you say!!! Great service!!!
