Lawrence S Fortney Home Repairs & Maintenance
As a Handy Man contractor, Larry and wife Mary Pat did a super job completing a wide variety of projects - what a team! They can do and were willing to tackle every honey-do project that we wanted done, even in the blistering hot weather in the 90s. Larry had built his own home from scratch himself so there's nothing he hasn't had experience doing. They were very creative in solving complex problems in the most simple and cost-effective manner that made the most sense. Our first meeting was to do a walk-through of the house and discuss what needed to be done and what materials they might need to buy in advance, and what equipment they might need to bring to complete the numerous tasks. All tasks were completed within a reasonable two half-days. Since I'm retired, we were able to easily resolve any questions that arose during the completion of the tasks. Corinth is normally outside their normal service area, but they made an exception in our case. It will be a pleasure to hire them again for any future handyman projects.

    Providence Electric
Zack was on time to the minute. He was friendly and polite and really knew what he was doing. The entire job was over 10 feet in the air, it took him and his helper 20 minutes y the clock to remove the fallen floodlights and install and test the new motion detector assembly. Very smooth and professional. I recommend them and would use them again.

    Enoch Electric, Water & Air
Fantastic...! They were very courteous and worked with a sense of purpose to get many things done quickly to minimize cost while also doing the job right. They even went to the local hardware store to get the correct silicone caulking instead of using an incorrect product/method to 'get it done'. That's integrity!

    Dennis Electric Company
Fantastic. 2 Techs were dispatched and arrived 3 hours after I called (one was an apprentice who was also very good). I had a couple AFCI breakers that were acting up, and needed my outside electric panel (behind the company meter) inspected as it had a breach that could have gotten water inside of it. I also needed an outdoor light fixture as well as an outdoor outlet replaced. Additionally I needed to troubleshoot my pool lights and an outlet in my kitchen. The Techs were super polite, helpful, amiable, and took the time to educate me on anything I had questions about. Luckily for me, all of the issues were either trivial or operator error so they were in and out in about an hour. Price was great too compared to some that I've seen.

    Light It Up Electric
Excellent. Although this was pretty routine stuff, we have used Light it Up previously and have been very pleased with Todd's persistence and problem solving abilities when faced with an unusual electrical problem. Highly recommend this family owned and operated company.

    DENTON ELECTRIC INC
Brandon from Denton Electric diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly. He replaced the ballast and the two fluorescent tubes and it has been working flawlessly ever since. Brandon arrived on time and finished the job quickly. Denton Electric then called the next day to state that they accidentally overcharged me and would be sending my check back with a new (lower) invoice. I was very pleased with their service and honesty.

    Clear Creek Home Improvements
Everything went very well. Kevin responded quickly to any communication and made sure we were satisfied with the work done. Nathan, the main worker, was here everyday, on time and was always pleasant and easy to work with. The job took a little longer than estimated but that was mostly due to our changes and weather. We are very happy with the final outcome and we love our kitchen.

    Carl's Handyman
Response time was very quick in the beginning.  The overall work was very sloppy and promises were not kept.  The painters got paint on all my kitchen appliances and utensils after telling me there was no need to empty cupboards before painting.  They did nothing to cover the contents.  I had to keep calling them back to remove paint spills on the floor and other places.  Even my iPad was covered in paint splatters.  I had paint splatters on my brand new vinyl flooring.  When painting the kitchen cabinets, the painters put screws into the front of my shelves, leaving screw hole in the shelving, again nothing could be done to rectify this problem.  The 25' stamped concrete patio did not even have a straight edge, when I asked what could be done about the bowed edge along the length of the patio, he said "nothing."  I was told several times they would be back to clean up the edge of my patio, where the concrete is unfinished.  They never did this.  I was also told that the mess they made on my back patio to my furniture and my brand new sliding glass door would be washed and "good as new".  They never did this.  I had to call back the electrician once the light fixtures were hung, because the switches didn't function properly.  When painting the woodwork in my bedroom, they got white paint on my green wall.  They covered over this splatter with a matched paint, but with a glossier finish, which looks ridiculous. When laying the vinyl flooring, they used metal transitions strips for the interior doorways.  I had to purchase my own interior thresholds.  There were so many details that were never fixed, and I was told I'm "picky."  When I requested additional concrete to be poured, he agreed with me on a price, then never showed and and never called to say his subcontractor could not do it for that price, which I understand, but I waited at home for the workers to come with no notification they were not coming.

    Copper Creek Electric
The electrician was excellent and resolved a potentially dangerous problem. The patio light was apparently not wired correctly and had been sloppily done, but it was still live. Based on some other issues we discovered with the house, we think that that this was probably a DIY job by the previous homeowner. Even the home inspector we hired to thoroughly inspect the house prior to purchasing it failed to note this potentially dangerous problem. The electrician disconnected the light and gave us an estimate to redo the light/fan when we were ready.  We are thankful and should have provided this info the Angie's List much sooner.
