    North Dallas Renovations
Everything was done on time, Kyle has a great team. I was living at the house at the begging of the renovation so it was a bit of a challenge but all were able to work around it. Couldn't ask for a better contractor for the renovation.

    Genesis Painting and Custom Remodeling
We had Moses and his crew work for us for several weeks. Our house we just bought in Denton Tx was built in 1984 and was in need of updating. We made a plan. We ran into problems and solved problems associated with remodeling a 30+ year old home. Moses was very resourceful in solving problems and completing our updating within our budget. Of everything that I listed they did, the master bath was the big item. They removed a small walk in shower and walls and plumbing associated with it. The removed a garden tub. They installed a 35x72 glass walk in shower new plumbing and lighting. New vanities counter tops for both baths. We kept the old cabinets but they were painted and raised the counter tops 4" to the new modern height and we love that. New toilets as well. We are very happy with our home today and Moses and his company were a large part in making that happen.

    Jon Wright Industries
It was awesome! Very Professional and helpful in understanding what was to be repaired. And, worked great with my insurance company on the claim. David Votava,Project Manager was referred to me by family members that had contracted with Jon Industries from the Irving area and Frisco area. This is what I wanted. Someone that knew what was needed and highest quality of work and ethics. David was so patient in going over all the submissions to my insurance company and coordinating every job. Each contractor was under his watch and David returned to make sure each repair was complete and to my satisfaction. Thank you David for a great job! He even showed me how to reduce my home insurance by 26% and increase the value of my home by 6%. Cannot thank you enough for the time and great service you provided!

    Genesis Painting and Custom Remodeling
I called over a dozen places to get a quote on my project. Moses and his team made it happen quickly and did A+ quality work for a fair price! The closet in our spare bedroom was almost uselessit was a long pop out closet but the tiny door made it so you couldnt access anything you put in to the sides of the door. We needed the closet to be functional for our twins arrival. We purchased the sliding mirrored door set and materials for framing and trimming at Home Depot the morning they arrived and they completed everything, including demo, install, painting the trim and clean-up the same day! They had all the tools necessary to get the job done right. I could not be more pleased with the results and will call on Moses and his team again for my next home improvement project! Approx. cost below was for labor and materials. Also, as part of the deal, they also fixed a cabinet in my kitchen that did not have a bottom on it (my home inspector did not catch this when we bought the house). All I had to do was buy the material. Amazing customer service! Who does that kind of thing anymore?! These guys!!! Call them, you will not be disappointed!

Moses and his crew were very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I was in need of qualified, experienced painters for a full interior paint job for a 3BR/2BA home. Moses worked within the my schedule and delivered a high quality job. I would most definitely recommend Genesis Painting for your next painting project.

    Ace Painter
Dan submitted an estimate to us and when we called him to go over some changes (which we never got to discuss with him) because when he finally answered his phone he was rude and obstinate and said he was passing on the job, after wasting 4 days of our time. He also refused to do the inside job of painting the two front rooms, which we had no problem with the cost and we were ready to hire him. Have no idea what the heck was or is his problem. Our recommendation is to NEVER hire this company or person, because he really through us for a loop. Now I have to start all over looking for a painter. F rating is even to high for this unprofessional business owner. You might consider taking him off Angie's List so that other homeowners don't have to go through this. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.

The first time we met Ray it was clear that he is a professional, straight-shooting guy. Easy to reach by phone or text, he was the most responsive contractor we had quote that first project. Now he's the only one we call. We couldn't recommend him enough - excellent work, flexible with our work schedules, great communication and advice, completes jobs quicker than anticipated and often ends up under quote! We'll be loyal customers for as long as we live in DFW.

    inStyle Painting & Remodeling
I thought about this for months before deciding to write, but feel like I must tell others of my experience. I chose InStyle because of their high Angie's List rating and their high ratings on their own website. I WISH I had booked the job through Angie's List because I would then have some recourse, but now, I do not. Ray (one of the owners) came on a Saturday and gave me a quote for the popcorn removal and interior painting. I had him add the doors and windows later and he resent the quote. We agreed on a week that the work would be done and I moved a lot of furniture out of the house, took all the artwork down, removed all the socket and light switch covers, and spackled all the holes left by removing the nails. He told me that they would fill in nail holes, but the few that I didn't fill in, didn't get done. I was to be gone from the house for 6 days. I stayed with some friends, boarded my dogs, and locked the cats out in the back yard. When it got to the end of the week, I was questioning whether they would be finished, because if they weren't I needed to board my animals longer. The guy I was e-mailing with (other owner) said no, they would finish on Saturday. I walk in Saturday afternoon and they were not finished. The woman who was supposed to be cleaning was sitting in a recliner in the living room texting on her phone. Miguel tells me they have the hall baseboard and the back bathroom left to finish and they will come back on Monday. I start walking around after they left and took probably 40-50 pictures (that I still have) of things that were not done or things that were done halfway. They painted on my brand-new fabric blackout shades in both bedrooms, when the shades were supposed to be taken down. (That was something I asked about specifically.) (They did reimburse me for the shades). In the kitchen window, they painted UP TO the blind, and then didn't paint anymore. (WHY?) Their old van leaked oil on my driveway. There was paint splatter on my front porch right outside the front door. Some of the door knobs got painted when they sprayed the doors and they LEFT IT. Whole sections of trim not painted. The wall that makes up part of the island in the kitchen not painted. Globs of ceiling texture that fell on the walls and THEY LEFT IT. There are STILL two spots in the yard where they emptied their sprayers where the grass has not grown back. Overspray on the cabinets, on the tile, on the shower, on the new switches and sockets. How hard is it to put a piece of tape over that? Just the other day, I found globs of the popcorn ceiling on top of the door frame in the kitchen. I could go on and on, but you probably get the point by now. They came out FOUR ADDITIONAL TIMES to fix what needed fixing, the last time with Ray, the owner, basically babysitting. Most is fixed, but it will never all be fixed. If I wanted a semi-professional job, I could have hired anybody. I hired what I THOUGHT were professional painters to do a PROFESSIONAL job painting my house and removing the old ceiling texture. I got people with no work ethic who don't seem to give a crap about what something looks like when they are finished with it. I am reminded every day when I walk through my house, of all the money I spent and what I DIDN'T get for it. I am glad so many others had such a positive experience. I wish I could say the same. The pictures that I am posting are supposed to be of the "completed house" minus the back bath and hall baseboard.
