    Kelby A. Trusty, OD
I have been with him for a good number of years now. He went in to partnership with another lady. I have been with him ever since and before. He is a very positive person. He is very competent, knows his field/ technology. He is quick in responding if I have an emergency. I am very happy with him. He has a good grasp of his field. He and his staff are very professional.

    Welding Eyecare
I saw Dr. Welding back in 2011. I never could wear the prescription because the right lens caused my right eye to hurt; went back to him and he said it was correct.  I changed to another doctor and all is well.  My son just had an exam last month and made the mistake of paying them up front for lenses for his regular glasses and for his sunglasses.  He wanted the green lenses from Ray Ban which was pricey.  The lenses turned out to be yellow so they said they'd call the lab and get back to him on Monday.  He never heard from them until the following Friday when they called to say his new lenses were in.  They still weren't the
Ray Ban green but they said they were darker.  He was furious after these two mistakes and demanded his money back and asked them to mail him his glasses so he didn't have to make another trip.  After giving him the runaround they finally agreed to the refund but claimed it was not their policy to mail glasses and would charge him $25 to do so.  Seriously; they screwed up twice and then penalized the patient for their mistakes?????  That's ridiculous and they need to reimburse him.  Needless to say, we are all done with this eye clinic.

    Advanced Eye Care Center
I'm very satisfied with the center, the ophthalmologist, and everyone there, who is very nice.  The quality of the care provided by the primary physician is excellent; he is very knowledgeable and I've heard the same things from other patients about the other physician as well. I typically wait just a few minutes to be seen when I arrive. They have a very available schedule, but it seems like they book up quickly. The primary physician does a wonderful job of explaining things to patients and will provide a clear explanation.

    Total Eyecare & Eyewear Gallery
The exam went fine.  Appears they have all the latest equipment to map/scan the eye, etc.
Have had several problems with their communication and their customer service.  Enough that I've gotten my glasses in the last year or so from other sources and have only gone there for the exam.
What kind of problems?  Horrible service by the office staff - other than Cindy who does the glasses fittings.
They don't return voice mails promptly - maybe in 5 days someone might call you back, usually you have to just call back and hope to get them when they're answering the phone.  I've tried to contact them via the "contact us" form on their website - again, no response after a week.
I had an appointment for contact lenses, but they didn't have ones that were any where close to my Rx even though the appointment was made well in advance and they did the exam so should have known ahead of time what lenses I needed.  5 days after that appointment, I'm still waiting for a call back to try on some trial set they ordered.
It's just a frustrating experience trying to do business with them for anything other than getting an eye exam.  I remember the last time before this recent experience I tried to get a pair of glasses from them it took a long time for them to come in and they didn't call to let me know when they arrived.  When I finally got them on the phone, my glasses were there but no one had called to let me know.  I offered to come right down and pick them up since I lived 5-10 minutes from their office but was told that if I missed their 5:00 closing time they would close and lock the doors, even if I were pulling into their parking lot when the clock struck 5:00.

    Coburn, Dr. Steven W.
I needed a quick appointment due to travel and realizing I was out of contacts.  The courteous office staff fit me in and validated my insurance during the initial phone call.    I had the first appointment at 9 and when I showed up there was only one person in the office.  The others strolled in at 9:15 so if you are in a hurry don't get the first appointment.  Once everyone was there moving around it was a great environment, very knowledgable and helpful staff.  I'd recommend to anyone looking for a new provider.

    SOUTHLAKE FAMILY EYE CARE
I had a good experience with them. They had a top of the line equipment and I got a good prescription out of it. The doctors are polite and considerate. He was quite knowledgeable and had a great diagnosis. They had a state of the art equipment that I was not familiar with and it was quite accurate.

    Visionworks
I walked in to have my sunglasses fix. I stood at the front counter for 20 minutes and none of the two workers out front even acknowledge me. Not a we will be with you after we finish with our other clients or anything. Not one peep came out of both the Man or Woman's mouth. I will never step back into that store and will find another locations (since I have the protection plan} I have to go to A Visionworks just not the one in Denton of Loop 288.

    Pediatric Eye Specialtists
My son starting seeing Dr. Packwood at a young age and saw him until he could not, due to his age. Dr. Packwood took such good care of my son. My son basically got cold sores by or in his eye which can cause blindness if not taken care of. Dr. Packwood would get us in immediately when my son would have a flare up. Because of that care, my son got on his antibiotics quickly and did not suffer any eye sight damage. I will always be grateful for the care Dr. Packwood gave my son all those many years. I just wish he did adults as well because we would still be with him.

    Clearview Eyecare and Laser Center
Dr. Ryne was very informative on the overall procedure. He informed me that If they determine that I was not a candidate for the surgery, they would let me know and I could be on my way. This would be at 'NO' expense to me for my visits. What a concept; going to get surgery and no one attempting to sell you anything. Felt good.
The day of the surgery Dr. Lyons came in the prep-room and talked with all the individuals concerning if there were any further questions before the surgery. I saw him go to each person in the room and ask. He sat down and talked with us about general things. The music playing, developing a playlist related to songs with the words 'eyes' in them and a few other general comments. He made me feel comfortable before I was moved to the first room to start the surgery.
The overall office staff was very friendly and attentive to their responsibilities. It was a pleasure to see individuals work in such an efficient and friendly manner. I can be somewhat of a cut up at times. Everything went well.
When I made it to the lasers, everything Dr. Ryne and Lyons described is what occurred. What I would feel, how it should be feeling as the procedure was occurring. It was a none issue. Now I'm trying to figure out what I was afraid of for so many years as I'm and quot;seeingand quot; across the room.
The morning after my surgery, on Saturday, Dr. Ryne met me at the office for check on the surgery. No issues everything is fine. The office is not officially open on Saturday, but he provides the follow-up 24 hours after the surgery. He also provides you with his cell phone number if you experience and issues or have questions after the procedure.
