  The gate on the fence was on 1 hinge and was badly damaged. The gate was replaced and looks better than the one previously on the fence. The fence was also re-stained on the entire portion of the fence that was visible to the street per the homeowners request. He remained in constant contact with me the entire time. Was courteous enough to take before and after photos for us and Not once did we feel like we didn't know what was going on. When it rained he let us know he would continue the work once it dried off. Was fast and thorough and completed the job in a very timely manner. As a property manager, its always good to find hard working vendors that are reliable and do what they say, and I will use him again the next time we need some work done. I would recommend him to anyone needing fence work.

  They did the work promptly and were neat. They cleaned up after themselves well, which is very important to me. They were a bit delayed with the billing, where I did have to request for the bill to be sent a few times. Other than that, the service was great!

  Response time was very quick in the beginning.  The overall work was very sloppy and promises were not kept.  The painters got paint on all my kitchen appliances and utensils after telling me there was no need to empty cupboards before painting.  They did nothing to cover the contents.  I had to keep calling them back to remove paint spills on the floor and other places.  Even my iPad was covered in paint splatters.  I had paint splatters on my brand new vinyl flooring.  When painting the kitchen cabinets, the painters put screws into the front of my shelves, leaving screw hole in the shelving, again nothing could be done to rectify this problem.  The 25' stamped concrete patio did not even have a straight edge, when I asked what could be done about the bowed edge along the length of the patio, he said "nothing."  I was told several times they would be back to clean up the edge of my patio, where the concrete is unfinished.  They never did this.  I was also told that the mess they made on my back patio to my furniture and my brand new sliding glass door would be washed and "good as new".  They never did this.  I had to call back the electrician once the light fixtures were hung, because the switches didn't function properly.  When painting the woodwork in my bedroom, they got white paint on my green wall.  They covered over this splatter with a matched paint, but with a glossier finish, which looks ridiculous. When laying the vinyl flooring, they used metal transitions strips for the interior doorways.  I had to purchase my own interior thresholds.  There were so many details that were never fixed, and I was told I'm "picky."  When I requested additional concrete to be poured, he agreed with me on a price, then never showed and and never called to say his subcontractor could not do it for that price, which I understand, but I waited at home for the workers to come with no notification they were not coming.

  The quote given to us was 5 times the other two quotes we received - 5 times!   We thought we would get three quotes for the service - a very simple deck staining/sealing job - no rails - just a flat extension about 350 sq feet.  When he told me $800, I thought he was kidding.  He said the cost of materials alone would exceed $300!   We feel he was trying to gouge us due to the neighborhood we reside in.  We chose to use another Angies List listed company - who is charging $150 and did an outstanding job last year painting our house.  Do not waste your time contacting this company.

  John and his crew are excellent.  I had to have this project finished by a particular date and they delivered.  His crew was hardworking, responsive and professional.  During the job there were a few changes and John never gave an indication that they were an inconvenience or problem. I would recommend Dockmasters to anyone who needs a deck or dock built, repaired or restored.  Their work was excellent.

  My memory is a little hazy as the work was done two years ago, but I do remember the crew being punctual and very professional. Once the work was done, all scrap and trash was removed and the also used a magnet to scour the lawn for dropped nails / screws.

  T Rock Roofing & Construction

  I was not an Angie's list member when we used T Rock Roofing to replace our roof. I wish I would have had someone to tell me to STEER CLEAR!
  When T Rock's rep, Stella, came to our house, she told us that they would do our roof at no cost to us. She told us that we could sign up and they would get us an estimate that was "guaranteed to not go over our insurance check". Well, it did not go over but they then proceeded to use every single dime of our insurance money. Stella literally asked for a copy of our insurance check and then later told us that their costs were EXACTLY that amount. Sound suspicious?  It sure did to us because we had a roof of similar size done in a different city the year before we moved to this house and the roofer never asked for our insurance check/amount and did just what he said he would do - gave us an estimate. His costs for our similar size house in a nearby city was $5,000 less than what T Rock told us theirs were here. 
  So basically if you don't mind giving up your entire insurance check to shady roofers, then this is the company for you. They will tell you that they are just a family business but so is the mafia!  They will say that they use the "same computer software that your insurance company does" to make an estimate but that is just another excuse to take all your money. 
   If you want a FAIR deal where the work is done for what the actual costs are then I would choose a different, more reputable company. 
  We chose T Rock because some of our neighbors had used them the year before (just as we were moving in). We noticed this year after some storms that no one is using them again and of course neither will we. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
  I don't like sour grapes so I have delayed in writing this review, but after talking to some neighbors today that had the same thing happen to them I felt compelled to share so that others will not have this same experience.
