    I was very pleased with the training I received and the care provided by the personnel assigned to assist me.  Over time I noticed some things I thought were unusual.  The first thing was that I received no bills with the supply shipments.  When
    I visited to have my memory card read each month, I inquired about my bill.  I had private insurance and needed to pay 20%.
    I was repeatedly told that the bills would be combined for several dates and then sent.  This did not happen.
    .A second policy that surprised me was that my supplies would stop coming.  When I questioned office personnel about this matter, I was told that I had not met my insurance deductible and so the supplies would not be sent.  I still needed supplies so I would go and purchase the supplies (usually a mask) on my own.  I thought it would be better to let the patient know and let her decide if the supplies should be sent or not at her expense. A third incident that concerned me was a mistake  that occurred when I had some reports printed out. It happened that there was another patient with my same name and I was given papers of that patient and I shared this information with my primary care provider.  I took the documents back to Brite Health Care and they discovered the error.
    When I became eligible for medicare, I could no longer do business there because they were not chosen in the new bidding process.  On my last visit in August of 2013, I asked again if my account was paid in full. The office staff said I was.
    I was very surprised  when in June of 2014 I received a bill for copays from January through August of 2012.  I was told the bills had been discovered during an audit.  Other providers I asked about the situation told me that they would not have billed for services after a year had passed. I payed the bill and have had no further dealings with Brite Health Care,
    The personal services on the actual health care I received were good.  The financial records part of the business was very poorly done.

    We were very pleased with Houston Hospice. We actually had a different provider before and we had a very bad experience. With Houston Hospice, The only complaint that I would have about them is, we had to put my dad in an in-house hospice for 5 days while I was in the hospital and they don't have any locations near us. We had to take him down not too far from the Medical Center which it turned out was not that bad in our case because I was in there and my husband can do the both of us.

    They are very good, helpful and accommodating. When I first went to get my machine, the girl who explained it was very thorough. She knew what she was talking about because she used one too. She said that if I had any questions that I should give her a call. I did have a couple of questions after a week or so and I called and she was very nice. They are very good on their price.

    It went perfect. They came in looked at our steps and went to work. They were done in no time, showed us how to use the chair lift properly and that was it. We are Very pleased with our choice.
