DBuffed the car while it was dirty. Left hairline scratches in the paint. Also noticed other vehicles being buffed dirty. If done correctly, wash and clay bar should be performed first. Unbelievable that these guys buff cars without washing them first.- Randall (Randy) S.

FHere is what happened to me-
They cancelled on me twice, once after they were supposed to start, once within hours of the detail appointment, and now that I am looking at more recent reviews on Angie's list and here I can see I am not the only one that this has happened to. In what is a poorly managed attempt to ensure they have continuous work for their business they have over committed, which is nothing but a great way to p*** people off.
Just to be clear-
10/13/15- purchased deal
10/13/15 2:35pm- scheduled for 12/3/15 @3pm
12/3/15- 3:09pm- (After appointment was scheduled to start) Emailed me- "Sir, the techs have checked in from the job previous to yours. They are dealing with an exceptionally dirty vehicle and need about another hour or so on it. This will put us out to a point that we would lose light long before finishing your vehicle. Sir i apologize to you, but would ask for you to check availability online and reply to this email, so that we can switch it for you. I understand this is frustrating and appreciate your patience. Thank you"
12/3/15- 4pm- REscheduled for 12/23/15 @11am, the nearest time available
12/23/15- 5:12am- Emailed me day of service, someone called in sick. Please reschedule online. Nearest Appointment is now 2/5/16

AOn May 7, 2012, I had an audio system and
security system installed in my truck. These guys did an awesome job.
They took care of me right away and they stand fully behind their work. I
cannot be more pleased. The result was top notch. If I ever need
services like this again, I will go back. I spent $1595 for both
systems. I feel the price was reasonable.
Two weeks later (today), I had another experience with this company and
I'd like to sequel that review based on today's outcome. Lots of
companies can sell products well, but few back their work up as well as
Car Stereo Outlet did for me today. While I loved the sound system, the
radio sound wasn't as good as I had hoped, and there was a hum in the
system when I accelerated the gas pedal. I came back to Car Stereo
Outlet wanting to purchase a digital sound processor (expensive item) to
supplement my system and make it better, but the guys at Car Stereo
Outlet talked me out of that, saying that a different radio might just
do the trick. They installed a new (even better) radio for me, replaced
the amp (to eliminate the hum) and wow, does my truck sound system sound
great now! They weren't even going to charge me for any of this, but I
insisted that I pay the difference between the original radio and the
new one. I recommend Car Stereo Outlet to anyone. Great work, guys!
It is over a year later now and today, July 11, 2013, I went back to
Car Stereo Outlet because the mic that picks up my voice on the
bluetooth radio was giving static. I was impressed that that same guys
(Ali and John) who had treated me so nicely over a year ago were still
there. How many times does THAT happen in a business? I got the same
great treatment this time also. Not only did Car Stereo Outlet replace
the microphone (free under warranty), but at my urging (they did not try
to sell me on this at all) I decided to upgrade my speakers from
Pioneer to Focal, plus I added a window break detection devise on my
truck's alarm system. The cost was reasonable, I feel, and I now have an
even more awesome sounding audio system in my truck. This dealership is
quality: they only sell top quality merchandise (a good selection of
brands and products, but only the really good stuff). They are
productive, because they always have customers coming into the store.
They now have six employees, I believe. I found out that at least one
other local car audio store comes to them to purchase the gear they sell
in their own shop. I have never felt any hard sell given me by Ali or
by John. They treat me with respect and I always receive more than I
expect from them. They are my auto/truck audio/window tinting/alarm
store of my past, present, and future.

AI had stopped by another detail/car wash a week prior to ask about getting the scratches buffed out and the guy told me I needed to find a shop with a high speed buffer. I found Mr Detail on the Internet and called them and a few others. When I called Mr Detail I spoke to the manager Nick who was very direct, but nice when he said he would need the buffing expert to look at the truck before giving a quote. I called him at PM and he offered to meet with me that same afternoon to get it looked at. After meeting with the guy that oversees the buffing, he said no guarantees as the scratches were long and fairly deep into the paint but they would spend 2 hours doing what they could for $150. I thought that was fair and agreed. The guy doing the work really took his time and just over 2 hours later it was like I had a new truck as the scratches were gone. I tipped the guy $20 as he not only buffed the sides, he buffed the entire truck and even got a scuff mark that was on my tail gate for over 2 years.- Bradley J.
