Veterinarian reviews in Conroe

  • My cat was diagnosed with a upper respiratory  infection and they got her in and treated her.  they gave her fluids to get her through the night because she wasn't able to eat or drink.  She finished her meds up today and is acting her normal self again. would highly recommend them.  Dr Foster and the vet tech I dealt with Aimee are great.

  • I've been in Texas almost a year (from Chicago), I have gone thru 3 vets with no satisfaction and $4,000-$5,000 down the drain. My 9 year old female boxer has heavy panting, excessive drinking (multiple gallons a day), potty breaks every hour that last 2 minutes, and pot bellied. The 1st vet I went to in the woodlands diagnosed her with, "if you don't like her going to the bathroom, then hold back her water, here's a pill to stop her from urinating so much". Wrong answer!!! 2nd vet in Conroe, all she wanted to due was re-run more and more tests, but of course, not the test I really wanted run, which was for cushings. The 3rd vet in Conroe, who did not accept care credit, was nickel and diming me to death with antibiotics to control her uti @ $100 a shot, and trying to control a low thyroid, and re run the tests I had done at the 2nd vet.....I had no money left to do my cushings test after all these other tests. Finally, I got an Angie's list account, Researched vets. Found Cole veterinarian. OMG People!!! These guys are really caring, they listen to you, They know you love your pet and that you would even go herbal in an attempt to try and help your pet at what ever costs because you choose so badly with your past vet choices. These people here get that! For the test I've been waiting a year to get, Done!!! They didn't give me the old song and dance that they have to rerun the elderly panel ($205 btw) so they could compare the labs that I had run 2 months prior and 4 months prior. No, they ran the cushings test, they did an xray and an ultra sound, so I know what I'm up against and for the 1st time, get the answers I need.  That's all I ever wanted from these other vets, but they would rather focus on everything but the main cause and in the mean time, I have been watching my dog remain in good spirits but suffering. They did everything that I asked. And I found out that cushings causes other problems in the body, but once you get your cushings disease under control, most likely all those other problems with be corrected. Hmmmm, but instead...the past vets wanted to treat the symptoms instead of the cause.

I give these guys a big 101% thumbs up, five stars and a big ole high 5 !!! . Thank you!!! You listen to your customers and you care about your patients. You know we love our animals, and you are more concerned with treating our pets, than filing your bank accounts.

By the way, we saw Dr. Carder. She might be a tiny little thing, but she is amazing and a very down to earth person !!!

Office Staff is amazing as well !!!

  • According to them our dog had the onset of fleas. We took him for a trim and fleas, it was part of his scab from him biting and licking. They did ok on recommending heart worm medication as well as flea and tick prevention. They gave a price to remove the growth, however also were trying to encouraged teeth cleaning. Those who have seen him before had said his teeth looked good. This makes me very leary of our visit. They did give an antibiotic for what might of been a eye infection. Do not have confidence to go back so we'll find a different vet.

  • We took our cat to have a full physical examination and have his nails clipped. Dr. Kelsey Doty was very nice and professional as well as her technician Judith. They are friendly and professional and the price was very reasonable. We are very happy with them and will be bringing our pets back when needed. I highly recommend this Vet clinic.

Thank you a lot Conroe Veterinary Clinic!!!

  • They really care about taking care of my dogs. They found the heart problem with my other dog and immediately referred me to specialist. They will call me to follow-up. I called them about needing a different type of pain killer and they got it for me right away. I was out of town when one of them needed medicine and they called it in so that my son could pick it up. My one dog was anxious and they came out to the common area to check on her. They are gentle and they are use to big dogs. I will continue to use them.

  • I do like her. The first time I got here, my dog has gotten into something poisonous and I don't know if it was a snake or whatever, and she was in shock. I called my first veterinarian here and she literally said to me, I have a vet just getting ready to go to lunch so you have to go somewhere else. That was bad. That was Dr. Ree and Dr. Morris at Tender Paws. I would not recommend them. With Pet's Paw, for a wellness visit like annual shots it's about $115. That's kind of standard. It's a little on the high side, but as long as you don't get somebody who is just ready to go to lunch when your dog's in shock. I found that's incredible. I thought they're there to help animals. It was quarter to twelve during a weekday, it wasn't like it was off hours. Dr. Judy Vinson is very good. She's very responsive and it's easy to get an appointment.

  • This happened before today. I forgot to give them a review. I have one of those black boxes with blocks of rat bait. A rat was able to dislodge the block, and it fell on the porch. My dog eats anything. She ate it. I rushed her to Dr. Hadash. We called the exterminater, obtained the chemical makeup of the poison, and the doctor was able to save my dog. I have lived in Conroe for 17 years. He has treated my pets all this time, from birth to death. I will recommend him to anyone who is looking for a vet that is excellent at his trade. His office staff is top notch. The fees at this clinic seem to be on par with other clinics in this area.

  • The visit went very well. We only waited for about 5 min or so in the waiting room where there was a cage with a couple kittens in to keep my dogs attention from wandering. When we got in the back everything was very clean and looked in good shape. The nurse and the vet were very helpful in answering all my questions as well as very thorough. Overall I thought the service was very good and the attention and care paid to my dogs was great. I will definitely use this vet again.

  • My dog, Bliss' liver had too much cancer and would not be able to support her life. I was called about the situation. I decided not to wake her up from the anethesia, I decided to let her die quietly and without any more pain.
All at the hospital were kind and fully professional.

  • They are really good. They were able to fix her up and good to go. I like that they work out payments with you which is good. They are always within estimate. They give you an estimate ahead of time, and if it comes out to be more, they go with the released amount. I used to have horses and they made house calls. I would have my four horses and four dogs taken cared of at one time. They treat larger animals too.
