    Fur Babies
We found good reviews of fur babies and thought we would give them a try
(we figured anything has to be better than petsmart) I'm glad we did.
They treat every dog like their baby and do an awesome job. We have been
using them for about 6 months now and are very happy we gave them a change
    to earn our business.

Tammy was wonderful, and the experience was great.  One of of our two dogs had an anal gland issue that we were not aware of until we dropped her off at Allure; the groomers were very accommodating and offered to groom her anyways.  The dogs came out looking and smelling great, and didn't shed - which is saying something, given that my larger dog normally sheds enough fur in one day to knit a sweater.
When I came to pick up my two dogs, the 'anal-gland-issue' caused my dog to have a bit of diarrhea accident just seconds after I got her into the back of my SUV.  When Tammy and Wendy found out, they went above and beyond and came out to my SUV and helped me clean up the mess and clean up my dog again, which truly saved my day.  I would never have asked them to take that one, especially in 100-degree heat, and I couldn't be more grateful.
While the cost was a good deal higher than what we were paying at our previous provider, it was more than worth it - the customer service was excellent and we'll pay the price again the next time we need grooming.

    Tila'S Creature Comforts
It went wonderful! The staff is very friendly and upbeat. You can tell when you walk through the door how much they care for your animals. I like the fact that you speak directly to the groomer herself instead of trying to explain to someone not grooming my dog. That way I know, she knows exactly what I want. I'm never disappointed when I pick up my prince. He's full coated and loves to rolls in dirt but they make sure to get him clean and pretty every time. I've seen her work on other dogs and how she interacts with all of them I'm always, always pleased by what I see. The facility is a little small but I think that's what I love about it. No matter how busy they are they seem to take the time needed for my baby even though I know he can be a handful! Tila never disappoints, she's got a good business going for her.

    Christine's Pet Salon

She is in a house and is very nice. She does not put the animals in a cage, except for mine because he wets on everything and then tries to get out of the area. If there is not a problem she does not put the dogs in a cage while they wait to be groomed. I think other people will charge more and I am getting what I pay for. She is the only one that can groom him. He has kind of a deformity on his hips and everybody else has scalded him or cut him too short. I don't have that problem with her. She is very good and has been at it for a long time.

We took our rescue puppy Lilly to see these ladies. Lilly has long shaggy hair some sheepdog/chow possibly in her family. Lilly is a bit timid. They were very general and patient with her? Stopping to calm her when she got scarred. What I picked her up she looked fabulous! You could tell she was happier and cooler! Highly recommend this place! Will be back for sure!

    PetSmart - Conroe
I found all I wanted and needed. I was asked if I needed any help while I was shopping. I noticed the cat food, Fancy Feast line was a little more expensive there than in grocery and other stores ( such as Target). But, they had more of a selection to choose. The employees were very friendly and a couple of them asked me if I needed any help finding items I needed. The check out was promptly completed. I love that they have cats for adoption at their stores and ask if the customer wants to give the adoption program. Without any pressure.

The owner of Allure and her co-worker are professional and very qualified groomers. I have been taking my standard poodle to the groomer for YEARS before she opened Allure (A shop of her own!) in November 2012.
I am very picky about who grooms my pampered pooch. When I first got my poodle at one year of age, another groomer must have abused her...she was scared to death to be groomed. I explained this to my new groomer (this was about 5 years ago), and in no time my dog was pulling me into the grooming shop!
The bathing and grooming areas are HUGE and clean. What I love about the two groomers at Allure is they will personally greet you and your dog, and they will tell you how the grooming went. If they see a problem on the skin, etc., they are not shy about pointing it out and offering suggestions.
They are, in my opinion, the best groomers in The Woodlands, Conroe, and Magnolia. Just a short drive West on FM1488 (about 6 miles) once you exit I-45 on the left-hand side.
The large chain pet stores with a high turnover of groomers---that's not for me. In my opinion, there is huge difference in quality of grooming at Allure versus the large chain pet stores. Another popular grooming store that has several locations in The Woodlands is also NOT MY FAVORITE, because the grooming room is very small, the viewing window is just about the only time I saw who was grooming my dog, and it seemed like the groomers were discouraged from talking to the dog owners.
You WILL NOT GET THAT AT ALLURE. You will be interacting with the owner who, with her co-worker will take very good care of your dog. I guarantee once you try Allure, you will never take your dog to another location!

As usual, my dog had an appointment, and she was not afraid to go back into the shop - always a good sign.
She was ready when promised, and looked - and smelled - beautiful.
The cost was more than usual this time because the dog's coat was terribly matted.  The monthly schedule rates are really good.
The prices are much better than at the chain pet stores, and the dogs are treated t like family.
I love this shop, and would not consider taking my dogs anywhere else!

Camp Bow Wow Near The Woodlands Area
Absolutely love Camp Bow Wow! Pamper Camp (?) is a great service so you know your dog will come home adorable ... and tired :) I love sneaking a peek on the Web Cameras to see what's going on! My only disappointment is that I called to make a grooming appointment a week or so ago and you are in the process of trying to find a replacement groomer, so only camp baths are being offered. Major bummer! Camp Bow Wow is SOOO close to work and so convenient ... not only that, my pup LOVES you guys! Don't go out and just hire anyone ... but find a loving replacement so not only our dogs will be tuckered out and well taken care of ... but all prettied up :)

Jenny does an excellent job grooming my two cocker spaniels. One of my dogs has very thick, curly hair, but Jenny does a great job working with her and keeping her looking beautiful. My male cocker spaniel is a bit timid, but Jenny has worked with him such that grooming is not a scary experience for him.
