    Kwok Li MD
I visited Dr. Li to get a check up on my eyes.  I had Lasik done about 10 years ago and wanted to make sure my eyes were still OK. I have not visited an Ophthalmologist in about 5 years.  After a quick physical and eye chart test, he determined that I should use off the shelf reading glasses.  The vision was still fine although it was not 20/20 anymore.  However, he said that I had normal vision for someone my age with Lasik surgery.  He also checked for floaters that I complained about with ultrasound and determined that they were not out of the ordinary and that none was attached to the retina.
All in all, a good visit.  His mannerism is efficient and direct to the point.  He has an engineering background before going into medicine so to me, he seems to have one of the best backgrounds to be an eye doctor.

    Woodlands Retina Center
He saved my eyesight! I had gone to my opthamologist 5 times in 6 months in 2012 complaining of eye pain and blurry vision. She just gave me drops and told me it was allergies. My husband had seen Dr. Abdelghani in 2010 for a detached retina and doctor was able to save his eyesight! So I mentioned to him when my husband had his followup about allergy eyes and so thankful I did. His office worked me in that day. He explained to me what I had (pan-occultis) in both eyes and the drops I was using were useless. Gave me several treatment options and within 3 weeks I could clearly again. Had I not seen him, I would have lost my sight.

They know what they're talking about. They make you feel very at home, they talk to you respectfully and the doctors are great. They're very friendly, personable and knowledgeable about their stuff and their office is really nice. It was organized and they have TV informational stuff around and everything. I'd recommend them to anyone.

    Price, Dr. Charles
I have been seeing Dr. Price for the last 10 years. He is extremely through in his exams.
He takes time to explain any questions that I have. His staff is wonderful in any follow up
that has to be done. My experience with Dr. Price and his staff has been A-1. I would highly
    recommend them.

    Mark Jenkins MD
The appointment was difficult to schedule because the schedule was full when I had openings in my schedule, so it too a few weeks.
The staff didn't acknowledge me when I checked in.
Dr. Jenkins is really great, though. He did a thorough exam.

    Price, Dr. Charles
I have had him for years. The one thing they could improve on, is that you are in for an hour and a half wait everytime you go. This changed when he merged with Heuston Eye and associates. It is horrible. I have had him for years, I just had surgery on Wednesday. Dr Jenkins did the surgery. With the new partnership, it is horrible. Dr Price himself is very good. It is your eyes, after all. It is awful. They don't care. My husband had a stroke. I was supposed to get him in on a certain day. It did not matter that he had had a stroke and he was going to have to wait for an hour and a half. I told him, this was awful. He were late for an appointment after that because he had to wait. They said they were sorry and I told them he could not stay and we had to leave. I like Dr Prices knowledge of his work. He is a very good doctor. It is a shame. As a doctor, he is top marks. Getting in to see him is the problem. If I called to make an appointment today, it might be the end of next month or the month after before I get an appointment.

I have been told by other optometrists that I am a "hard fit" however Dr. Breaux was able to nail my prescription. He strongly recommended a dilation due to my severe farsightedness which is something I know is necessary. He offered to give me my prescription so I could get my contacts though a mail order supplier or through him, whichever was more convenient. Something that has never been offered to me by other providers. His prices were very reasonable. I was very pleased with his services and will be returning for my yearly eye exams.

    Fish, Dr. Susan K
Dr. Susan Fish is my ophthalmologist. I had my eyelids lifted. I've been going to this office for about 30 years. I went to Dr. Fish for the cosmetic part. I like her very much. She's personable, youngish, and very nice. She did a good job; I am very happy with her. The lines where she cut are almost completely gone now. I've never had any kind of plastic surgery done before so I have nothing to judge this against. I just know that I was pleased with what she did. The office is very pleasant. I had to wait a month or two to see her; she's pretty booked up. She told me everything I needed to know. This particular procedure was done under Medicare.

The examination was thorough, competent and pleasant throughout.  However, on arriving home I discovered that the eyeglass prescription did NOT contain the "pupillary distance" needed for ordering eyeglasses, even though there is a place for this datum pre-printed on the prescription.  I called the office and was told that the practice NEVER provides the pupillary distance EVEN IF THE PATIENT ASKS FOR IT IN ADVANCE OF THE EXAMINATION.
By omitting this parameter (which I assumed was an essential part of the examination), the practice compels patients to patronize local opticians in purchasing new eyeglasses when online glasses cost <=20% of the local price.
If obtaining an updated eyeglass prescription that can be filled by ANYONE is an important reason for your making an appointment, you would do better to find a practice that provides the pupillary distance information on its prescriptions.
