    Sterling Ridge Orthopaedics &
I have visited this practice, at the Woodlands location, many times during the past year, due to arthritis pain and a torn meniscus. They perform x-ryas in-office, and their MRI facility is across the street, with fast appointment availability. Dr. Keith Johnson is excellent at providing information and treatment options. Even though he is board-certified in surgery, he offered me more conservative options (hyalgan injections) that are currently working well for me. (And Tammy is absolutely amazing at administering knee injections!) The staff is always friendly and professional, and they worked with me when my insurance changed to ensure that my treatment was uninterrupted. Highly recommended!

    Massage Techniques of The Woodlands

We made the appointment on Angies list, pretty easy, you have to type in your credit card to make the appointment but it is not used until after your session, then you swipe your card. Satye Metoyer is very professional, friendly, & kind. She did Deep Tissue Massage on my husbands back and neck while I sat in a very comfortable lounge chair. She knows what she is doing, she is excellent in every way, we highly recommend her to anyone that needs massage therapy. Thank You Satye!!!

    Carroll, Tami

The first time I contacted Tami I was in need of immediate relief.  She graciously worked me in that same day.  Tami is friendly and upbeat.  She is very experienced and received her training at a time when more class hours and greater knowledge of the anatomy were required to become licensed in this field. Tami listens to assess you personal needs and performs her service accordingly.  I have seen her many times over the past year and have gained tremendous relief as a result of her massage technique.

YMCA has really changed over the years into such a community group. It's not anything like it used to be. They have huge community centers, pools, staffing and everything. My daughter has been with YMCA for 6 years. She is doing the fun stuff they have. They have school programs and summer camps. I mean, just great stuff. The cost depends on how many days a week that she is there and how many are in this calendar year for the school. It can range anywhere from $62 to $350 a month. That's just the child care portion. We also pay a membership fee at $92 a month for a family.

    Robert Mohr MD
I was having severe pain in my butt and back area. I asked Dr. Mohr to order an MRI of my spine. After the initial evaluation that revealed herniated disks, I also asked him to do an X-ray of my tail bone. It was found to be detached and laying on it's side about 20 degrees. Surgery went well. Of course there was pain. I am 5 months out from surgery, healing and I am 90 percent better. There is a very high risk of infection with this type of surgery, however, I didn't have any problems with infection, thanks to Dr. Mohr and his staff!!! I am very satisfied with Dr. Mohr's treatment of my broken and detached coccyx. The entire staff was wonderful, especially Jacqueline, his PA assistant. I would definitely recommend Dr. Mohr to family and friends. He also operated on my husband's back. He had a small cyst removed on his spine and Dr. Mohr was able to remove it in it's entirety. My husband was 100 satisfied as well.

Our child had an allergy and was in the toddler class. There was very little tolerance for the special care she needed. She was asked to be picked up at least once a week, because of something related to her allergies - which was, in my opinion was a form of neglect. We tried brown bagging all the food for her but that still did not help. We had her there for a few months and then moved her to another place where the management genuinely cared about kids.

    Marquardt, Dr. Mark R.
First Visit: The office had very comfortable seating arrangements. The wait time was minimal. Dr. Mark listened patiently to my concerns. X-Rays were taken and a MRI was recommended before any treatment was performed. Mandy, the receptionist, was very professional and friendly. She helps me schedule the MRI quickly.
Second Visit: Dr. Mark sat down to explain the x-rays and MRI result in basic terms with visual charts. I never saw the X-ray
and MRI disc, and I forgot to ask to see them. He worked on my injury carefully as he verbally explained in detail what I would experience before each treatment performed.
Dr. Mark explained I might need about 12 treatments before my shoulder and arm is back to normal again. I trust Dr. Mark and I do
have plans to complete the 12 treatments.

    Woodlands Sports Medicine Ctr
Once I got an appointment. The front office is very chaotic. When you walk in you have to walk through a and quot;sand quot; style seating area to check in. There are people being called to see the doctors, people coming from seeing the doctor to check out and people walking up to the check in desk (after you check in you go back to sit down then you are called back to the check in desk for payment, insurance or update paperwork). Keep in mind all the injuries, casts, or some form of inconvenient healing apparatus. The staff seems overloaded, aggravated and cramped in a over populated work space. When you finally come back- to wait some more for the doctor- you are taken through this maze of hallways. A nurse (which is not concerned with their professional appearance) comes in checks vitals asks questions you have written in detail on the patient forms. Finally time for the doctor. Well, he was going to but some one had an emergency so we waited some more. Now, he comes in with a and quot;studentand quot; and asks my approval of their appearance during my visit with him (this student is literally with in a foot beside the doctor). At this point I am hurting, aggravated with the lack of organization and friendliness. I couldn't care less if who was with him, I just wanted to get this visit over with so I can find a different office. He was very quick and unsure of almost every question he was asked. He recommended a few things but ultimately told me to come back in a few weeks to see if one of these and quot;recommendationsand quot; worked- if not then we'd start over. He was in there a total of 5 minutes and I was there for almost 3 hours. Now on to check out. Wow, don't bother asking how to get out of the maze of rooms. They tell you the visit is over and walk out of the room. My first visit to any office I expect to be shown the way out and given instructions on how to and quot;check-outand quot;. Nope. I find my way to the front and then the check out desk. The staff at that desk was even worse than the check in staff. I had a few questions and they responded with a very short and annoyed response making me feel ignorant. I have not and will not be back to this doctor.

    Hammit, Dr. Matthew D
Doctor Hammit is personable, never acts as though he is rushed, does not play God and would be the first person to tell you that maybe you should seek a second opinion as he did me in January of this year after he had done hip surgery on me May of 2012. His office staff is very nice. If I had one complaint it would be that it is hard to get someone to answer the phone. You may be holding for awhile. Of couse that could be that so many people are trying to make appointments.
