  • Shane has been our plumber for at least 10 years and we have used him for every plumbing issue we have had. He is always professional, punctual, honest and fair in pricing. I would recommend him without reservation!

  • Jeff Burks, the technician, was outstanding and did a perfect job. I wanted to upgrade my shutoff valve to the house --- he was meticulous in his work...replacing the main water shut off valve with a more useful ball valve and installed a new larger box so I can easily turn it off when gone on vacation for extended time. The work was complex because the valve included a manifold to the house. While there, he also replaced a leaking hose faucet -- the work didn't go as easily as planned but Jeff easily adapted and executed a perfect solution. Very helpful to answer my Q's and keep me informed of progress.

  • Not well. Plumber discover the hat water heater was damaged by an leak in the water intake pipe ,the water heater had been installed by them. One plumber walked off the job when I said I might not use them again if I had to pay for their mistake. Repair was completed 3 hours later by a replacement plumber

  • Repair done on time, friendly service. The situation was discussed with me fully. No problems or issues Cody a/c has always been good to discuss the options, pricing by option and to provide qualified techs to do the work. We have used then over 20 years . Any issues have always been resolved to our satisfaction They charged a service call price not repair price since the problem was probably theirs

  • They were not given the job as their quote was way out of line, over ten times higher than the competitor who was given the business ( and did an excellent job). I followed up with Berkeys and they were quite cavalier and didn't seem to care about losing a 20-year customer.

  • AWEFUL, STRANGE AND ODD. I have used this company for a few years and up until recently they were fantastic. This time, I called them to have a kitchen sink unclogged. What surprised me is that this time in addition to the usual fee (approx. $139), they wanted to charge an extra "EQUIPMENT FEE" of approx. $45! When I inquired about this fee, they said they have begun charging this new fee to cover the wear and tear on their equipment!!!!!! This was such a bogus explanation of a junk fee that after all these years I had to terminate my relationship with this company and ask their technician to leave without performing the job. Saying that I am disappointed is an understatement.

  • Perfect! Phil Sharp totally remodeled our bathtub area, and completed a new shower install. He found light mold, and cleaned everything behind the Sheetrock. He cleaned and treated the studs. The work was professional and meticulous. Phil had a key to our house, and we trusted him completely! He was like a family member. His work was spectacular!

  • Very well. The technician, Bryce, quickly found the problem, got it fixed and gave us tips to help prevent this particular problem in the future. I will definitely call Ernie's and request Bryce for any future plumbing needs I have.

  • A Berkey's plumber arrived the following morning. I showed him the leaky pump he went out to his truck to calculate the estimate. He returned with a $3,500 estimate for an anti-scale device and a new pump. He reported that scale build-up was the cause of the pump failure. I told him that I did not need the $2,300 anti scale device as my glass showers and fixtures are 10 years old and show no signs of scale. He began a high pressure sales tactic. I told him that I wasn't interested and my purpose in calling Berkeys was for a plumber not a salesman. My need was simple... the recirculating pump needed repair or replacement. The remaining $1,200 of the estimate was for the pump. I asked for a breakdown of parts and labor. I explained to him that I thought the estimate was high given that an identical pump is available online for $200 and labor should not exceed two hours. From a distance he flashed the official Berkeys price list which he claimed validated his estimate. I began to feel like a dupe. I was unclear why he needed 20 minutes in his truck to calculate the estimate if he had a fixed price list. I told him that if $1,200 was his price then we had no further business as I was confident that my out-of-town husband could fix the pump in less than an hour. He told me that I owed him for the service call. I paid him the $69. After he left, I googled the pump again this time for repairs. According to the internet, it is common for the seal to fail and the pump to leak after 8+ years of circulating hot water. I called the 100-year old pump manufacturer and spoke with a technician. He proceeded to troubleshoot the pump over the phone i.e. no cracks in housing, pump runs. He confidently stated that a new O-ring would solve my problem. He provided me the part number. I fixed the pump for $10.15 which is the cost of the new O-ring. It took about 10 minutes to remove 4 screws, install the new O-ring, and replace the 4 screws. I am happy to report that the pump works and does not leak. I am also happy to report that I took pictures of the inside of the pump and there was no scale in or on the pump. Bottom line- either this plumber knew less about pumps than an accountant or he was scamming me.

  • The plumber arrived within the time window but without the replacement heater I had requested. He stated we would have to pay for replacement. When I questioned it and said I was a long time customer and would have to think about using them again,if they would not stand by their work. He stormed down the drive saying he would not work on it. I called back to the office and another plumber was sent 4 hours later and I was charged for the labor to replace the heater.I would have hope the company would express regret about the actions of their employee but they did not. There are many plumbers why take a chance on them?
