ASaxon Roofing & RepairI can't say enough good things about Saxon roofing. One of the only roofers I had that didn't show up and ask me right off the bat if it was insurance money. Which always makes me feel like they're about to give me the shaft. Which Steve never did ask about! Steve was very friendly and helpful during the whole process. Also Bob there site manager was very professional and friendly. I felt like his whole crew went over and beyond my expectations. I would definitely use Saxon Roofing again in the future.- Mike B.

AR&B Paint Contractors LLCOur first experience was asking them to come out to do a 2nd story emergency re-caulk of some siding. The next day Robby came out and measured for his bid. We had LOTS of concerns about the pressure washing and Robby was so patient in explaining the details. There was some other siding that I thought was shot - but Robby had his carpenter come out and they said it was serviceable - that probably saved me a few hundred bucks right there! When we did a little pre-test on the area that leaked we discovered it wasn't the boards (they had done a great job caulking) but something else. That resulted in our rescheduling Robby and they didn't complain one bit! We then had Schulte come out (see that review) and they fixed the issue. We were able to schedule Robby to come out 2 days later. Robby's crew showed up on time and proceeded to pressure wash - the amount of dirt and loose caulking was amazing. They then allowed the house to dry (no leaks thanks to Schulte) and went to town painting. Once here we did a few small change orders (we didn't want the doors painted but changed our minds). Being a large, tall, house it took them a few days to get the two coats of paint up. What a difference that made all the way around. They even repainted some of the new flashing from a recent partial re-roof (Schulte) and what a difference that makes in the appearance of the house. Robby's crew did take a clean-up pass around the house and we aren't finding much they missed. Robby's crew has been with him for some time and it shows. We've had issues with other contractors trying to grow and their quality suffers. Robby enjoys his work, takes care of his crew, and is reliable. We will be needing the inside painted before too long and Robby's on that short list.- Don G.

AGuaranteed Painting CoThey were great. They had a great contractor-owner relationship. They did what they said they were supposed to do. They came out and gave a quote on time. They started before they were supposed to. They did excellent work. They replaced quite a bit more siding than what was originally estimated. The owner was the one that came out and dealt with us. He was very friendly and proactive. It was a good experience. We're contracting them to do another one of our houses.- Daniel R.

ASchulte Roofing IncIt took two emails to convey the work we wanted because the nice people saw "gable vent" and passed. When we explained "siding, flashing, wijndow" we had Scott S. out for a look at a time that fit my schedule. He inspected the area and provided us with a written quote on the spot (Schulte has done enough work that they have captured their bidding metrics into a nice paper worksheet). We upgraded the repair by requesting HardiPlank vs Cedar and having both sides done. in our case the size of the boards would never exactly match because Cedar is a different size now than in the late 1960's. Scott was clear about what to expect. The Change Order was handled via email. Clemente and his helper appeared on time to execute the repair, when they ran into problems they apologized, ran back to the shop (30 mi away) and came back armed for bear (extra equipment and materials). They were very approachable with questions, stacked wood that I could re-use for patching in the future, and cleaned up to the expected standard (which is to say we ALWAYS find some nails, wood chips, etc after a job but that's the standard). We had the house painted 2 days later and the painters had no issues. Two days after that we tested and no leaks were found. A week later we had 2 days of rain - nice and dry. Scott sent us a few emails touching base during this time to ensure the work was done correctly and to our satisfaction. Another call confirmed it was ok to bill and when we indicated we verbally approved a change order to add some house wrap to the side with the rotted wood - they said "shop supplies - no charge". Granted it wasn't much but it was the attitude that thrilled us. We had previously used Schulte for a 1/2 roof replacement and they made good on a few hiccups along the way with a smile.- Don G.

They were incredible! The house looks beautiful. They're consciousness, they were honest, their cost was fair, and they are very professional . ASecure Roofing is top notch! Great business, great people. I was so nervous when I found a leak in my roof. I am so thankful for Secure Roofing! They responded right away, did a very thorough assessment and took time to answer all of my questions. They were patient while I compared their evaluation and price to other contractors. As soon as I made my decision, they appeared and completed the job quickly! There was no mess or debris left behind. I’ve waited six months to write this review so I could be more sure of the quality of the work. In that time I’ve gone through periods of high heat, torrential downpours and even a hail storm. AHerb and his guys were exceptional. We hired them to complete the project after another contractor started and was unable to finish. Guaranteed Painting took it to another level and made our house look better than we hoped for, and their attention to detail was tremendous. A telling example: When they finished, the job, the painters even replaced the long line of small plastic containers that my wife placed in the back of the house to catch rain water off the roof.
