AANCHOR FOUNDATION REPAIRThey came out and looked at the bricks that were showing a vertical crack from foundation up to the window sill. He also came in the house and used a level to check the tops of doors, and found two small cracks in the drywall. He told me everything looked fine at this time and was just natural settling, especially with the bad drought two summers ago. He showed me how to watch the cracks in the drywall and if they appeared to be getting worse, to call them again. He showed me what caulking my husband needs to get to repair the crack in the bricks. Very thorough and professional and didn't charge me anything!!- PAT I.

AMidwest Foundation RepairEverything about them was professional. After scheduling the appointment, they sent us information about the company and the individual person who we would be working with. They called to remind us of the appointment as well. The problem with the water seeping into the house was due to clogged gutters (we had someone coming out later that day to fix that). Mike, the Midwest Basement rep, immediately diagnosed the problem and let us know what it was. Even though it was a pretty stupid problem, and one that he wasn't going to fix, he treated us professionally and non-judgmentally. There was never a sense that it wasn't worth his time.- Lori B.

AIt went really well, better than expected. Mr. King was great to work with as he provided me several options for water proofing (for the future) and he installed a sump pump which is what I needed as the first step. He was on time, cleaned up after the job was done (and during) and wanted to make sure we were very happy with his work. I waited to do a review because I wanted to see how the sump pump worked after rain. We have had a couple of good rain events since it was installed and we heard it working and doing its job. The unit is a little loud, but knowing it is working and moving the water out of the crawlspace is all that matters to me.

FI had Blackmon Mooring replace my roof and perform other repairs and have had constant problems since. Now I am having a real roofing and construction company come out and do the job correctly. The problem with that is it will cost me $1500.00 because the job wasn't done correctly in the first place. I specifically told them that I had three locations that needed special attention and pointed those out so they could take care to insure these locations were addressed. They failed miserably! Once they "completed" the roof I had to have them come back out twice. Once because they didn't seal the soffit, another time because they failed to put a roof jack in place for one of the waste vent pipes. Instead they just put shingles over the opening which is improper and voids the warranty on the shingles. I was the one that found both of these issues and had to tell them about it. I refused to make the final payment until these issues were repaired. They chose to put a mechanics lean on my home even though they had not completed the work. Within 18 months I had leaks in two of the locations I specifically told them to be aware of. I have repaired the interior water damage twice. It is now apparent that if the roof is not properly repaired I will continue to have issues in these locations. The new roofing company has explained how these locations were done improperly. The new roofing company is a GAF President's Club award winner so I have confidence in their assessment of the improper installation by Blackmon mooring. Save yourself a lot of headaches. Find anyone else to do your work.
