    AM Moving Company
I loved them. ?They were great. ?They moved me twice, once when I staged my home. I was moving into a 3,400 square foot house, so it was a lot of stuff. I called another moving company and they didn't show up. ?I called them back and they said they would be there tomorrow, promise. ?And they didn't show up. ?I called AM and they told me they would be there the next day and they were.

    Duryea Moving & Storage Inc
Duryea Moving worked with our out-of-state move coordinator to accept delivery and store household goods for an extended period of time. Duryea provided the best pricing for storage and for the local move at the end of the storage period. All employees provided professional, prompt, and courteous service during multiple encounters. The courteous moving staff took great pride in their work and handled our items with the utmost care. The staff worked quickly and maintained a positive attitude throughout delivery of a very large shipment from storage, and demonstrated that same work ethic when loading and delivering items during the local move. It was a pleasure to work with Duryea Moving. They made a very stressful time in our lives less stressful!

They moved two storage units that were full to our new house. All three guys were very polite and courteous. They arrived at the storage facility on time and worked very swiftly. This is my first time using a moving service and I could not be more satisfied. Thank you guys for making this transition so smooth and stress free. A++++++++++

    Holly Lake Moving

We decided to do the packing for the move ourselves and HLMovers helped by making available for purchase an ample supply of boxes and packing materials. Prior to the event the movers visited my home to preview the move and help us to know what to expect on moving day. Our move required two trucks. On moving day the crew arrived according to our plan and spent the entire day and into the evening loading our possessions. They were polite. They were professional. They treated our belongings with respect and care. They paid attention to details such as the security of nuts and bolts from disassembled items that might get lost in transit. They were equipped with an abundant supply of blankets, straps and cellophane wrap and worked tirelessly to find the right place for each item.

The next day the crew returned to transport our belongings to a storage facility about 125 miles away. The offloaded our possessions with the same efficiency and care as they had loaded them.

    King Moving Company, LLC
We hired King Moving to move the furniture from our 3,000 sq ft home in Texas to our small home in Oklahoma, then loaded several pieces from that house and moved them to another house 5 miles away.  They showed up promptly and immediately began loading.  All of furniture was wrapped well and I have not found anything damaged.  They also moved our 6.5' safe and Wurlitzer jukebox without incident.  They arrived the next day and unloaded everything without damaging walls or the old, hardwood floors, including, having to dismantle and rebuild our refrigerator to get it through the door.  We will definitely use them on our next move!

    Firehouse Movers Inc
We were moving to a new home only 12 miles away, but since I was 7 months pregnant, we needed to hire some help. We got estimates from 3 different companies ranging from $5500 to $2500. Firehouse had been recommended to us by an acquaintance, and they were the lowest estimate, so we hired them. Their 3 man crew arrived on time and got right to work. The head of the crew was a little grumpy and not exactly a people person, but he did a good job. The other two guys were extremely nice and worked harder than I have ever seen two guys work before. When they were finished packing on the first day, we did a walk through and they had only missed a few things - a drawer here, a cabinet there. They quickly packed up what they had missed and called it a day. They arrived a little early on day two because the weather called for rain in the afternoon. It took two trips to get everything to the new house, and they were very quick and efficient. When it was all said and done they came in under their original estimate. There was very minimal damage - two or three small items were broken - but our furniture and other important things were all fine. A few boxes were packed a little haphazardly, particularly the garage stuff, but it wasn't done carelessly.

    King Moving Company, LLC
They were there on time, were able to adapt to almost hourly changes in circumstances, were very professional, did not damage anything that I could see and I think they would of fessed up if they did.  If they were neighbors I would have any problem inviting them over for for game day or a backyard barbque.

    Mighty Movers, Inc.
I sent this review to the company early yesterday in case they wanted to address it before I posted it, however they have not responded. The company and the movers were polite and prompt. They were good at what they did. I'll admit that the comment of "We're not your family, we're your movers and we're just here for your big stuff" didn't seem very professional. Guess it was a good thing I was already planning on putting the small stuff in my cars myself. All in all, the move was quick and there wasn't anything broken. They were very nice and my wife loved that they said "yes ma'am". What really put a bad taste in my mouth was the extras. Their special was for $279 for a two man crew and truck... what I didn't see was the "may be additional fuel cost"... what I really didn't expect is to pay $60 for the fuel for an 11 mile move. That's like paying UPS to ship a package and then being told it will be extra to cover gas... I understand charges for excessive distance, but 11 miles ? The other shock came when the guy in charge of the move asked me on how I wanted to tip them for their service... I told him I would tip on the card that I was paying for the move with... What was amazing is the reaction to the tip I gave them... it wasn't enough and they let me know. They informed me that I should be tipping them $45 per person for a 3.5 hour move... REALLY? He told me that the minimum he should be tipped is $30 per person... I was too tired at the time and gave in to the $30 per person and assumed that I was out of touch in my expectations. Today i ran across an article on that said that the industry expectation for tipping a mover is up to 5% total (not each) which was LESS than what I was initially offering to tip... It's not the 60 bucks that bothers me as much as the way it was done...

    Expert Movers DFW
Expert Movers DFW it was kind of a mixed bag.  I hired them through a Groupon where they were offering essentially half their rate for three hours.  I did not look closely enough nor did I call them in advance.  After I bought the Groupon and I scheduled they said oh, you are way out there, we are going to have to tack on this fuel fee and we are going to charge you for half an hour for guys to drive back.  Well, okay, looking at their website they had one had I looked, the fuel charge, because I'm way up in the north Dallas and they are downtown, but I didn't see anything about paying for their return.  Really?  Okay.  So we get there, we do the thing and turns out taking four, four and a half hours.  Okay, and they said if you go over the Groupon rate that you just start paying at the regular hourly.  Okay, fine.  So I hand them a credit card, first I hear one of them reading the credit card over a cell phone to their home office.  Oh dear, I don't like this at all.  And then I see my cell phone buzz and I have a text message from my bank saying somebody just used your credit cared for the amount of the move covering the fuel fee and everything.  Then I heard him read the number again and my cell phone buzzed again hey your credit card got used for the same amount again, I was okay.  The bank usually sorts this out, so there is a duplicate, whatever.  Then the guy says they say it's not going through.  And their explanation is I don't know what you and your banker are saying but when it goes through for us we immediately see the funds appear in our account or whatever.  I can't explain that but my bank says you charged me.  Now we are at something of an impasse.  Can you pay by cash? No, I don't have $400 in cash on me.  So fine we drive to my bank and I get a cashiers check and then I get them to sign it and they are on their way.  The charges never appear on my credit card statement, so that's good.  So it all worked out, there was no fraud, it was kind of how hard does this have to be?  So in terms of the service, the two guys and the truck they were courteous, they were stronger than I am, we got all the stuff moved.  Slightly bigger picture, we were emptying our house into storage, I'm actually in Mexico right now.  We empty the stuff into storage but we had to go back that afternoon and we rearrange and stack and better use of the space.  It would have been easier to re-stacking with two strong men there, but all that said I probably would not go with them again.  In part because of the distance and the extra fuel fee and all that and also kind of the keystone cop-ish back office.

They were supposed to show up at 10:30 and did not show up until 3:30. They did not bring a large enough truck. They would not go back to get the rest of our things. They did not put the beds together. They punched holes in the walls. They could not get the furniture in, so they left it outside. They did not say they were leaving and did not leave a receipt. I thought they were putting furniture together when I went to put my kids to bed. Then I went to check on them and they were gone. They refuse to make any kind of restitution. They will not finish the job. When I call them they say, "We did not even move you!" We had to hire someone else and had to pay another $500 for them to finish the job.
