    Sagamore Fence & Deck
We contacted Tony at Sagamore with a unique project to enclose a portion of our 4 acres for our elderly dogs to have easier access from our back doors. The project entailed removing an existing masonry wall and then adding decking and stairs to the newly enclosed smaller portion of our property. We have worked with landscape architects in the past, including a fencing project at a previous house to enclose a garden. What made Sagamore standout was the flow of original ideas Tony provided. His initial visit included walking off the property with me, discussing my needs and wants for the project and providing a proposed product he could stand behind. This included several pictures of fencing designs to pinpoint the exact style we wanted and that would flow with our existing landscape. I really loved the different options he provided and how he made sure the final fence was absolutely what my husband and I both envisioned. Our past experiences with the design portion was a rough sketch with no detail of the materials, fencing style, etc. If you are looking for a company that is truly investing in your vision and not just finishing another job, then this is your company. In the end, we did not do the project installation. We decided that fencing off a portion of the yard for our elderly dogs wasn't the best choice as one hurt himself and could no longer run off leash. Initially, I was hesitant to tell Tony. However, he is so easy to talk with and wants the best for his clients. He was the one when to suggest not doing the project before I mentioned it. We will definitely use Sagamore Homes for any future projects in Central Texas.

They did an excellent job. They worked with the materials we wanted, TREX and anodized aluminum to minimize maintenance. The attached to the home seamlessly and were even able to accommodate a red oak growing through the deck and cover. They installed gutters and downspouts as well.

    Austin Deck Company
I can't believe I haven't rated Austin Deck Company until now! Back in early 2015 we got several quotes on a unique project we wanted built: a pergola over our existing deck with a strong enough structure to mount 30 solar panels on top (to shade the deck and simultaneously generate power), complete with structural engineering calculations to prove it could handle both the weight and significant wind up-lift forces. We also needed our contractor to work as a sub-contractor to our solar panel installers... which meant waiting to get paid by a third party. I work in mechanical engineering and provided Abe with my plans for the pergola. After visiting our home, he came up with modifications that made it both sturdier and more aesthetically pleasing than what I had envisioned. We LOVE having the "solar pergola" over our deck. We get a lot of compliments on it from friend, neighbors, and even a structural engineer! Now we are getting ready to replace the old deck, and we're talking to Abe again. Once again, he's a pleasure to interact with, and his expertise and professionalism are highly valued. I'll post photos of the solar pergola, and I'll update my review with our experience on the new deck.

    Capital Construction Services
Our customizing ideas utilizing corrugated galvanized steel for parts of the interior walls was something different for him and not done before. A great job was done by his carpenter Hugo, including all the custom cabinetry work with more galvanized metal inserts. The concrete guys stayed until 3am to work the water out. ( I was with them through it all ) these guys did a great job with the Luder Stone countertops. Nice, tight, and sturdy built. All wood screwed together, not nailed.

    Hometown Decking & Decorative Concrete
Best experience, not at all what we expected. Also make sure you let them know if you are installing a tub because they have to use extra support. They take pride in their craft and ownership in the job.

Jim was very helpful and responsive. I contacted many contractors and he was the first one replied and many questions promptly answered afterward. (More than half did not bother returning my request...) Their quote was higher than I thought, and as I went thru many other contractors I learned it is not that they were expensive but my budget was low. I got similar quote from 3 reputable contractors and they were all about this range, some even using cheaper material. I decided not to do it at the end due to budget issue, but this guy deserves some good review from me.

    Riley-Sons Roofing and Construction
Went very well. There were some weather issues but once the storms stopped, Tim and his crew got to work. It took them 2 days to build the deck. They did a great job and everything is perfect and straight. Now rain doesn't splash mud all over my back door

pouring new slab and overlaying old slab, replacing rotten support post and adding two new posts, framing roof area, tying new roof to old, raising chimney to code height, hanging recessed lighting, installing outdoor ceiling fan, finishing new plugs for patio and new switches for fans and lights, installing corner lights along back of patio and house, removal of a portion of pool decking and tying slab to remaining decking, and final clean up and punch list items.

    Southern Landscape Solutions Inc
Every step of this process has been executed to the highest standards of professionalism, quality and efficiency. There wasn't a single time where Sean's team?didn't arrive exactly when they said they would and?there was no?uncertainty regarding what they'd be working on. This was the first time I'd contracted something like this. I had a fairly high level of anxiety and a lot of questions. Sean?explained what would happen in?for each step. I must say that when the irrigation system was put in last Fall ?it looked like a bomb had gone off?for a couple of days but Sean had warned me that it would and, when it was finished, everything was cleaned up, ship shape and working like a charm. The irrigation system has 10 zones and we activated 7 when the irrigation system was installed; just leaving the drip irrigation zones for the completion of the planting beds and raised vegetable beds in the Spring.?It was my decision to wait until Spring to do this and not a delay on the part of Southern Landscape Solutions. The quality of all materials and components used for the irrigation system is of the highest quality available in the industry and Sean takes this very seriously. Using only the best, most reliable materials for everything is a well deserved point of pride for him. About 3 weeks after the completion of the irrigation system they came out and constructed a large patio off of my back porch. The framing for this was much more challenging than a rectangular slab of concrete as there are curves and points that correspond to the flow of the beds in the design.. There was also a mature Texas Redbud in the center of the patio that required framing a circular well to accommodate it.?Sean's team spent?2 days?preparing the ground, framing everything and laying rebar. On the day the concrete was poured the delivery was delayed through no fault of Southern Landscape but Sean's team remained motivated and in good spirits. Things really started happening fast when the cement truck finally arrived in early afternoon. I've never seen a more coordinated or efficient effort. It was like a well choreographed dance. Due to the late delivery of the concrete Sean's team worked well after dark to complete the?texturizing and staining. It was at least a 13 hour day for all of them and the result is a work of high craftsmanship. The final step started this week with the digging, preparation, irrigation and planting of the beds. As I mentioned earlier my lot is 200' deep. The planting beds are wide and very long with a curvaceous flow. They are numerous and massive. The drip irrigation has been laid out on a grid so, to add more plants over time, I'll just need to move the mulch aside, find the drip grid and plant without having to have additions or modifications to what's already there. The plant list included approximately 200 perennials ranging from 1 to 7 gallons in size with plenty of room for me to indulge my gardening passions by adding more over time.?Four 4'x4' waist high raised beds have been installed in the vegetable gardening area and a spigot added so that I can rinse my gardening tools. All of the plants being planted are incredible healthy and raring to grow. I can't say enough about Southern Landscape Solutions, Sean or his highly skilled team. These gentlemen are prodigious workers and very skilled at what they do. They are unfailingly professional and courteous and care deeply about creating something of?the highest?quality and beauty that will only become more beautiful with the passage of time. My stated goal was to create a beautiful haven for the enjoyment and benefit of birds, butterflies, hummingbirds, bees and, of course, me. Southern Landscape Solutions has executed on that goal and far exceeded my expectations in every regard.
