    Gene answered when I called on a Sunday and he had an appointment available on Tuesday between 9-11 and he called at 830 and said he would be here at 0900. he showed up, got the door open explained what the problem was and that he would have to order the part. he gave me the quote and said he would be back on Thursday with the part. he was here on Thursday when he said he would be and the microwave is fixed. He did a great job! Very professional and I will be using him again.

    The serviceman and owner of company was highly skilled and familiar with old Maytags and their idiosyncrasies. He did some minor adjustments and clarified some noises from both appliances. I was very satisfied with his work and price.

    Wonderful. David is a the owner and very nice guy. He was very efficient and honest. If we were staying in Texas I would use him again if needed. I am definitely giving his information to the new owners.

      ***UPDATE 6/30/2015***

          Shortly after my original post Glenn called me to say there had been a misunderstanding on the part of his technician.  Glenn agreed to refund $180.00 for my dishwasher repair and said he would send me a money order.  He did, promptly, and called me several times to assure me it was on its way and to ask if I have received it.  I REALLY APPRECIATE Glenn taking the time to make good on this situation and I have changed my grades on this review to reflect it.  Glenn is serious when he says he is committed to excellent customer service !!  Please do not hesitate to use this business.



       UPDATE---- Glenn called 6/19 and said his son will come back out, take out the new circuit board, and refund back to us $180.00.  After this occurs I will be glad to adjust my ratings for this company and will update my comments for future customers.**



        7 year old dishwasher would not turn on.  There had been a power surge in our area a couple of days before and it apparently fried the circuit board.  Glenn replaced the circuit board and checked to see if the machine would start.  Immediately after he left I started the machine.  When it came for the dry cycle the machine stopped and showed an error.  Since it was now after service hours I called back the next morning and told the man answering the phone was happened.  I talked to Glenn later in the day.  He said the power surge apparently fried the heating element too.  When I asked him if he could take back the circuit board he had just put in and I could just buy a new dishwasher he said he couldn't do that, the company would not take back the part.  I am out $275 for a dishwasher that is still not working right...and it would have just been cheaper(in the long run,) and better for me to just buy a new unit and not fix this one.  I am paying service technicians for their expertise and would have really appreciated if he told me to just buy a new dishwasher and not fix this.  I thought I could trust the providers on Angie's List !

    I called Glenn on a Saturday regarding my garbage disposal.  He was very responsive and able to visit my house on the following Monday.  On the day of the appointment, I needed to change my service time and Glenn was able to accommodate.  And even though replacing the disposal was a difficult task due to how and where it was installed, Glenn had a great spirit and was able to replace my old disposal with a new disposal.  I would definitely recommend his services.

    I called Glenn at 0900 on a Saturday morning because our dryer would not start.  He kept me up to speed with his arrival time via phone calls.  Glenn was very professional and immediately diagnosed the problem.  Also used our shop vac to completely clean inside the dryer housing.  Reasonably priced especially for coming out on Saturday!

    He did no diagnostics, suggested I call a GE technician. Was ready to leave refrigerator just part-way pushed back in. He said the cabinet bottom had dropped. I said it had just been10 minutes, so he then pushed it back in. Felt like he thought he could get away with that with me, since I'm female I might believe it. Having said that, instead of 24 hr waiting time, it took more like a week but seems to be working great now. I will take his advice, I have a GE tech coming tomorrow. Felt I wasted $79 since I'll have to pay that and probably more, but at least it's running better. He was nice enough, I just felt he wasn't the type to really dig into a problem in order to solve it.

    Well in fairness to the Appliance Repair company, they came out within the time frame promised but they came to the wrong address. I've decided that i do not need the repair because I will just get a new washer. It's very old. I did receive a call from A Affordable Repair but told them I had changed my mind.

    Went great - business office was very friendly and set up the appointment quickly.  Service professional called to confirm me that morning with a window later that afternoon, and then called again 30 mins before he arrived.  He came in, fixed my issue and departed - pretty perfect!

    Mr Snell and his associate came on time. They were uniformed, neat, professional and courteous. They worked quickly and efficiently to determine my repair needs. They not only showed me the defect , but explained it to me in a way I could understand. They also listened to my questions and gave me direct answers for my options. Unfortunately, it didn't make financial sense to repair the microwaves, but I DEFINITELY would call on them for future repair needs. Thanks!!
