Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Reviews

"In the beginning, I was really impressed by this outfit. We did not want to go with a "turn-key" company after talking to five different contractors.

and
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
were impressive, with
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
offering to help with the decor, which is really not my thing.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
had great ideas and appeared to have had a lot of experience. The reviews on Angie's list cinched it.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was very helpful the first week or two, but then sort of dropped out of the picture, coming around occasionally to get money or give perky comments on how great things were coming along.

Last day of remodel.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is determined to finish; he has not even had lunch (its approx. 5 pm). My husband stayed home from work to help since all the other workers were on other jobs. Apparently they are working on a much bigger, and I suppose more lucrative, kitchen remodel. It is clear that
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
just wants to get this done. He is working at a manic rate; we are exhausted just watching him. He says he won't stop until its finished.

Six o'clock, and
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is cleaning up. I am afraid to go into the bathroom. I would use turn-key people if I believed they could actually make life simpler, but I don't know if that's possible. Next time we will probably just do one thing at a time instead of trying to do it all at once. I will finish this review after everything is all wrapped up and I have had time to think about it. Save as draft.

It has been a year now. Time to finish this. It really is a beautiful bathroom, and well worth it. The cabinets made by
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
are outstanding. The tile work
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
did around the tub is unique and always gets positive comments. We really enjoy using our much improved, up to date bathroom.

These are the things that lowered the score from an A to a B:
We had to sweat a pipe that no one else seemed capable of fixing. We almost started a fire.
There was a piece missing from the shower curtain rod. We had to replace the whole thing.
We had to add insulation where the "fur down" was removed.
We had to call a plumber to putty the tub drain.
The pipes make knocking sounds when we run hot water through the sink faucets.
There were no transition strips between the carpet and the tile. This little thing bothered me the most, only because I was made to feel like a
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
for asking for such a thing. I looked it up online, where I learned that leaving the edges of the tile exposed is not only unsightly, but also poses a trip hazard. Do you still think transition strips are not important, person that made me feel stupid? (you know who you are)

Over all, the finished product is very nice and I do recommend Agape. Just make sure you have the patience to deal with all the (not so) little things.

quoted the job. Provided sufficient crew and skills to perform the job efficiently. Project took nearly 2 weeks to complete. Crew started each day on time and worked through out the day. Most of the crew was family and had worked with

for a long time. Very satisfied with the job.

"The salesman came out and in hind sight I can see all the high pressured sales tactics he used. But I guess that is their job and I can't blame him for my stupidity.
When the project started I was introduced to the contractor. He was a friendly enough guy but was late most of the time and usually didn't bother to call me to let me know. and he was a no show no call 3 times.
When we were about two days from finishing I was asked if it would be ok if I go ahead and sign off on the contract and pay but
that an amended contract would be written. The purpose was so the contractor could go ahead get paid.
despite the
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
issues we did like the guy and wanted him to get his money so we fell for it. This is where my project began losing priority. Two days turned into nearly 4 more months.
The biggest delay was a damaged bathroom counter top was installed - . They sent two companies out to fix it but was not successful. So they ordered a new one and it was finally installed Sept 26th.
I was having 2 pocket doors installed and I couldn't tell you just how cheap they looked - horrible - but they changed them out for 6 panel doors. The contractor used different hardware to hang one of the doors and I have had nothing but trouble with it. He said the original hardware broke but I found it and it ain't broke. A warranty does come with the contract so the next time it falls off I will have them fix it.
I am not a hard person to please but aggravations mounted and for the money we paid - the quality of materials just don't add up!! don't get me wrong - I love my new bathroom but I feel like I had to fight for it. It just seemed to take the fun out of the whole thing.
The charge to do this job didn't include shower doors. But I was assured by the salesman they were only $525 - try $875 !!!!! And I didn't order anything special and I really shopped around to get the best deal.
I am sorry to say I will not use them for any of my other projects and I have several.
Just don't pay till ALL the work is done!!! They will offer to write an "amended work order" so you will still be under contract - BUT they will have their money and begin losing interest.
I stand behind everything I have said in this review but I have to tell you that I did contact Mr.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
Manzare to address my grievances. After emailing back and forth for just a few days Mr Manzare offered to send his Quality Control Manager,
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to my home to hear and see first hand just what my issues are.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and my field manager arrived and we reached an agreement. It is
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's policy to fix the problem - not pay for it so be ready for that.
I hope that anytime you hire hire a company and are not satisfied - you take your grievances to the company before posting reviews. I found Mr Manzare and
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
reasonable to work with. they both were equally concerned about my grievances and were eager to resolve them.
I stated I would not hire
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
again but they will reason with you if you are patient.

"After meeting with us and talking with us about what we wanted done to our home,
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
prepared a design for our kitchen. We were thrilled with his ideas. The plan showed that he had listened to us and included changes that we didn't think were possible with the existing footprint. The workmen that he brought in were professional and did excellent work.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
continually checked to make sure that we were satisfied.

"The electricians, the plumber and the cabinet maker were first rate. The drywall crew did a good job. The painting crew had no one on site who spoke English during most of the work. That made it difficult to understand what questions were being asked and to be sure that our instructions would be followed. One room was completely cleared of furniture while we were out in order to make room to paint the cabinet doors and drawers. We weren't warned of that in advance and it was a shock when we walked back into the house. I would have liked to have had some advance notice about that. In addition, even though it seemed that the painting area was adequately sealed off from the rest of the house, we found overspray on the furniture in other parts of the house. In the end
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
had a cleaning crew come in and take care of that. It's worth mentioning that the paint that was used on the cabinets was one that would dry to a hard durable finish. That's a good thing, but it had a very strong odor. So much so that we had to board the dogs for 3 days and spend 2 nights in a motel ourselves.
We had a few concerns throughout the project but
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
made sure we were satisfied with the work every step of the way. We would definitely do business with them again.

"We have used Ace Painters previously and they did an excellent job. The employees are trust worthy, honest, dedicated and most have worked for Ace Painters for several years. Plastic was used to seal the kitchen and nook off from the rest of the house to reduce the dust from spreading thoughout the house, They sanded all the cabinets before staining.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, the owner, is very professional and suggested several things that we had not even thought about such as removing the box lights and installing the canister lighting. They made the process look so easy and what a difference the six canister lighting make the kitchen look. Thank you
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and thank your crew. We could not be more satisfied. Everyone that visits can not believe that the kitchen is the same room. They returned to spot stain a couple of places on the cabinets without any questions. Oh - and they cleaned up all the debis before leaving.

"Couldn't have asked for better service.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
Contracting was wonderful. They started on the specified day and the owner,
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, came by every morning to see how things were going and answer any questions. They removed old shower and tub and built a beautiful walk-in shower.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
helped with the design and placement of tile. They also tiled the floor and textured over very old wallpapered walls and then painted the walls, doors, and baseboards. They removed and then installed new faucets and lights. They finished in the 2-week estimated time and the cost was exactly what was estimated - no
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
costs!! I will be using them again very soon for more work in other areas of my house.

"Mr.
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
seemed very competent when he was gathering information from be about what types of things I would like in the new bathroom. He seems to have good innovative ideas. He stated at that time that he was quite busy as a result of the "Big Deal" that I had purchased and since I was in no hurry to get the work done on my bathroom I told him not to rush with the plan.
Another individual from
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
called me a couple of months later to tell me he would be working on my plan.
Since then, I have heard nothing from anyone at
Carrollton Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's.
I have tried both by phone and email to contact them for about 3 weeks but have received no reply.
I am sorry to put in negative comments since I think they would do good work and give me a well designed plan but since I can't get in touch with them I really don't know what else to do.

"He looked at where the wall unit & dishwasher were to be installed (old ones removed) as well as looking at the new appliances in the box and just said "$600." He didn't go into a whole lot of detail. He did nothing wrong, but his lack of personality lead me to getting a second estimate. I just wasn't sold.

"The two men who did the work came in from Oklahoma to the DFW area and stayed in an area motel to do the work. They arrived late almost every day. Worked inefficiently, and left early most days.
Their quality was poor. Plumbing had to be totally redone by a licensed plumber. Sink leaked immediately. Bathroom had to be professionally repainted after they left. Floor had to be professionally cleaned and regrouted in many areas after they left.
The work took far longer than we were told to expect (or one could reasonably expect). There was an understandable interruption of more than a week when the father of one of the crew members died (they cannot be faulted for that, obviously, but work was still excessively long).
The only good thing I can say is that the two men who worked on the job were very nice guys with a good attitude. That was the only salvation.
