Avoid... They dont stand behind their work. Wont fix their mistakes. First off, they did not tape anything off or cover my carpets. Dust got everywhere. I have to pay someone now to hopefully restore my carpets and will have to steam clean my tile. They put wood shins that rest on top of the cabinets directly under the granite. Because of the length of my counters they had to put 2 seams, which turned out horribly. Good seams should be not that noticeable. Obviously, they have to be there but they are not correct or professional by any means the way that MGI did them. The seams have jagged edges like they were not cut properly and the head installer in the end said he liked the seams, which reflects the quality (or lack of) of their work. They didnt attach or mount my dishwasher to the underside of the granite so now it moves when I open and close it. After they left initially, my oven (my oven will now turn on but will not heat) and dishwasher wouldnt turn on. And the dishwasher leaked from the supply line. We had to use stern language with Ali to make him come back to fix the stuff that stopped working after his install. They messed with the seams when they came back but they are still not correct. They didnt wipe up all the epoxy so now the edge is rough at both seams. Everyone Ive showed this to and spoken to said that this needs to be redone (rip out and replace the counters where the seams are) or the seams need blended and polished until they look right at the cost of MGI. We paid him in full since they worked all day to finish the job and now they wont do us the same courtesy of fixing their mistakes. Sloppy, substandard and unprofessional. Dont let their pictures fool you (they are not close up shots). I could mention other issues with the install as well..... Use these guys if you want a granite contractor who wont work to satisfy you after you PAY them!

Jake showed up on time - and had great customer service! He gave great advice regarding other work we needed completed. He told us that some of the projects we wanted completed were not feasible or too costly for the reward ! You have to respect that - so often the vendor is only interested in the bottom line. We were also delighted to find out they provide many other services and sent our oriental carpets to be cleaned as well. We will definitely use this company again and are grateful for the great service

There was a lot to do and there were a couple of snags, which Adrian and I talked out and came up with solutions. Adrian even did some tiling to help unify the space - at no additional cost. My kitchen looks amazing now. There are a couple of things that I would have done differently, had I to do it over again: have them hang plastic over the doors to the kitchen to keep the dust from going everywhere and moving all the things in the lower cabinets in order to keep all of the construction bits out. It did force me to have a good clean and sort through, so I made it a positive.

We are happy with the final project, however the process was not a pleasant experience. We never knew when the work crew would be on site. Some days they just didn't show up and other days they said they would be on site at a certain time and they would show up 3-4 hours later.

One of the 2x4 shower floor tiles was not level so we requested that it be replaced. When they replaced the tile the tile was still not level and they used the incorrect color of grout. Therefore we requested it to be replaced again. This time the tile was level however the grout color still didn't match the other grout. We noticed the linear/trench drain was not draining properly. When examining the drain closer we noticed they grouted around the drain cover/grate therefore we were unable to remove the drain cover to get to the drain to remove debris that was preventing it from draining.

The grout was removed to enable the drain cover to be free floating and access to the drain. During this process multiple tiles were damaged and the grout color was incorrect. Reliant did make an effort to correct the grout color, but it became apparent that they would be unable to do so. We were offered explanations about variations in color from different grout batches and other reasons why it is difficult to match up grout color. Reliant assured us that they wanted to ensure we were completely satisfied, however, In the end, frustrated by how long the project was taking to complete and having to change plans to be at home in order for Reliant to work on the project, we settled for the differences in grout color. The project was projected to be completed on 12/22/15 and was not complete until 1/24/16.

Despite that, we are happy overall with the look of our remodeled bathroom. But, due to our frustrations of working with Reliant, we would not recommend this company to others looking for a company to remodel a bathroom.

Jason was very responsive when I called to make an appointment for an estimate.  He was very prompt arriving for his first appointment and if there was ever any time adjustment needed for meeting me at the granite yard or at my home he always gave me plenty of notice.  He was very helpful during the granite selection.  The installations, which were at two different sites, went very smoothly.   The granite vanity tops are beautiful and they will be my first choice if I need any more counter tops replaced.

Anthony from Prado's marble and granite arrived at the time and date arranged. He explained and showed both my husband and I how he was going to fix the damaged areas. Anthony worked diligently and carefully for five hours ( 5x7 foot area) .We felt that Anthony paid attention to details, and he ensured that the cracks were filled and the scratches polished out. The countertop looks great now !
I was impressed that this company was willing to drive all the way from downtown San Antonio to New Braunfels to get the job done even though it was a small job for them. If I am ever going to have a new granite countertop installed, I will call Prado's marble an granite , because I can be sure that they have the expertise to provide service even after the installation is completed!

Read the reviews. Luke provides comments in response to negative reviews where he calls his customers "rude". He threatens legal action for "slander". Tells a customer to hire "border bros". The sarcasm is equally rich. "Thank you for your review" in response to a review deemed as unworthy. It goes on and on. It is actually quite sad because his father and brothers were awesome. Just awesome. I didn't ask to be reimbursed for the damage because that was the price to never deal with this individual again. Worth it. Unless of course he wants to litigate this review.

This was a great, stress free experience. I expected a mess tearing out my old countertops. They cleaned as they went and really made no mess at all. It seemed to go smoothly and efficiently and at the end of the day I LOVE the new granite countertops and sink. What a difference,

Jason came out promptly, measured, and gave me an estimate for installing the granite in my kitchen. I had an idea of what I wanted and he was able to give me a couple of ideas right off. He offered to meet me where the slabs are stored so that I could choose one. I had used this company before and was familiar with that process. There are levels of granite depending upon consistency of pattern in the slab and on individual budget. After I selected one, a couple of days later, I changed my mind on the color slab I was going to use. Jason handled it professionally, and, since, they had not cut yet, the change was made. The change caused some delay. Then scheduling from the company also caused a delay. However, the delays were not that significant and the countertops were installed within 2-3 weeks of original plan. Once installed, I was not completely satisfied with the cut around the cooktop. Jason came out, we discussed it and he was able to make some changes without changing the slab. Overall, I was happy with the price, the service, the quality and variety of selection of granite. Would use them again.

Stone City Granite has failed to follow-up with repairing the product they provided and have failed to deliver the final peices as described in the contract. The owner operator (Erik) does no reply to phone messages, nor does he keep his appointments. I'm still waiting on a Lazy Susan made from the same granite material used in the kitchen, as well as a third counter piece for the same area. I also found scratches and construction marks on the original peice of island counter granite that requires polishing. I've been trying to contact him numerous times and he failes to comply with the contract and/or his pormises. I've even tried to pick up the last remaining items myself, but Erik still does not comply.
