AJon Wright IndustriesKen Dunn was my Project Manager for my roof installation. He was so knowledgeable and respectful. He came to my house several times and always arrived on time. My work was done during the pandemic and he always wore a mask, which I greatly appreciated. He always made sure that I knew what was going on and had great follow through. I think that the workmanship was superb too. He was onsite for the entire project. i have never been in a situation where the sales person and leader of the crew were there for the entire project. I was so very pleased. AScott ExteriorsWork started in February and completed in Mar. Hold up was strictly due to all the rain we had, but they took advantage of any openings to continue to completion. The teams that worked on our house were great and Bruce and his team took all the time we needed to answer questions and responded quickly. After installation noticed a window stress fracture and it was repaired by (Pella) quickly. In June had a couple of adjustments that needed to be made to flashing and it was handled without a fuss. I would recommend Scott Exteriors to anyone thinking of have work like this done. I have no complaints and will definitely use them for future projects.- John N.

AScott ExteriorsLesson learned the hard way: It's almost been a year since the big storm that hit parts of the Dallas area on 6/9/19. Straight line winds hit up to 85 mph in some areas. One area hit hard was our neighborhood in Lake Highlands. As clean up began the next day, it was evident that every house on our street was going to need a new roof. The door knockers offering discounts for new roofs were out in full force. One got my neighbor and I was invited over to the conversation. The next thing you know, paperwork was signed and a new roof was completed. Fast forward almost one year later: After the rainy season this spring began, I started noticing leaks appearing on the inside of our home. Instead of going back to the 'door knocker', I called up Scott Exteriors. A local Lake Highlands roofing company. The owner, Kirk Scott showed up the next day. After examining the work that had been done, it has been determined NONE of the flashing around all of our exhaust fans on the roof had been flashed correctly. Furthermore, the gutters were not hung correctly which has already caused water damage in the form of wood rot. The next day Scott Exteriors solved all of our problems with the roof. I can not recommend Scott Exterior's enough for all of your roofing needs. Get it done right the first time, and you will save thousands down the road. AQuality Tops Roofing IncI called for my roof to be inspected, and they came out right away. After inspecting the roof, storm damage was found. They worked with my home insurance to point out hail damage, and my insurance company covered this loss. They worked promptly to fix the roof, and the quality of their work was excellent. They even inspected the work afterwards to insure that the workmanship was perfect. I would highly recommend this company.- Helen P.

After discussion of the job, we determined that his company doesn't handle it, but he was courteous, respectful, and honest. He didn't waste our time with coming out. DOne man show! John, the installer, was not in a good mood when he showed up to repair my gutters and I can see why. Swan Roofing was expecting him to repair a 30 ft span without any help. The gutter had a bow in the middle once it was up and was not acceptable. When I mentioned it to him, he blew up. He said that he knew what he was doing and continued yelling at me as I walked away. I looked out the kitchen window and could see him trying to force the gutter up by hitting it and pushing it. He returned the next day with spacers and did over kill on the repair. There are so many spacers and screws in the gutters that I don’t want them to return and do more damage. I traded a dented gutter for now a wavy gutter. Rental house quality not worthy for a house worth over $500,000. Putting the house up on the market soon and don’t want them touching it. If I were staying, the job would be redone. Place blame on both the company and the installer

AThis is a very professional company. Everyone I spoke with were very helpful and quick with answers. My house is very old and the city required it to be decked over the 1x12 shiplap boards. The estimator dealt with the city and my insurance and was very quick on answers. The work was excellent and some boards were replaced that I thought I would have to do. I would recommend this company to all. If I need another roof due to weather, I'll call Lon Smith roofing. I had first called another roofing company that was advertised on the radio. I was not impressed with that company but knew I wanted to go with Lon Smith after calling them.

AAll went well. Roof was installed in one day. Looks great. All debris was removed from the yard. Also had inside drywall repair and painting work done. The painters did a great job. Blue Ribbon roofing was easy to work with. They were responsive to calls and texts and kept us up to date on progress. I would use them again if I need more roof work in the future.
