    I've been using them for several years. I think it's an excellent idea to offer coupons. My pet takes it pretty well, in fact they are the only ones that have any luck with her. She's a small dog and tends to bite, they don't have a bit of trouble with her. I guess they know how to handle her. I go back later to pick her up. The wait time is usually 4-5 hours. We don't wait on our pet, ?we just drop it off and they just call us when they are ready. They're really quite busy. They interact really well with my pet.

    It was a wonderful experience for both dogs and myself. The owner, Stefan, is very loving and responsible. You can tell he loves what he does and each animal is special. Unlike some salons, we were able to go into the back and check on one dog while he was working on another. They use no heated kennels only fan dried. They are open on Sundays as well and you can bring them anytime. Unlike some salons that would only take big dogs in the morning and on certain days. Stefan is very flexible and a joy to work with. They have a lovely area for smaller dogs to rest while they are being dried. Looks like an open doll house with fans and pillows. He is set up for all sizes and breeds of dogs and even specializes in rescue dogs that may have been abused and shy of strangers. His prices are very reasonable. We travel all the way from East Burleson to Haltom to have our dogs groomed here, that is how impressed I was with this business. Unlike other salons he opens at 8 am and is there until the last dog is gone, so no stress if you are at work and have to leave early to get your dog, he will work with you. Both our dogs had never had their teeth brushed but took to it and Stefan. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who loves their pet. For us it is well worth the gas money getting them there. There is nothing like piece of mind! Hope Pupparazzi is in Haltom for a long time to come!

    Happy Tails
    They're fantastic. I take them there every couple of months. I started using them years ago. My daughter told me about them. I was pleased with how they handled the animals. I took them there the first time to board them. The dog had to be groomed so I started taking them there. I've never had any problems or any complaints.

    We moved here from Austin last year and we have been using Pet Paradise for over a year. I do wish that there was more groomer meet and greet and be able to go to the same groomer each time, as I think it is easier on the dog and/or cat, other than that, I have no complaints. The staff are always friendly and our dogs are groomed as we requested. Our shih-tzu has glaucoma and is completely blind and they are always very careful around her eyes. I have enjoyed going here. The only thing I struggle with is the price they charge. When we groom both dogs at the same time it is $95. Would love to have them groomed once a month but cant afford the $95. I wish they would give discounts when customers are regular and bring their pets in on a regular basis. I would definitely go every month. But the $95 is just too expensive to do this.

    Hulen Hills Animal Hospital
    I started going to Hulen Hills Animal Hospital after moving to the area from another state. I waited more than a year to write this review simply because I do not like to write negative reviews. However, I've had associates who have visited Hulen Hills Animal Hospital in the past few months and it seems as if their quality of care has not improved.
    The short version of my experience is I brought my 8-year old cat in for a routine dental with Dr. Early and they nearly killed her. I had been there a few months prior with my 2-year old cat for a routine dental and his went well but that was with a different vet who no longer works there. My cat ended up spending 3 nights in the Mansfield Animal Emergency with acute kidney failure. The doctor there told me it was most likely because my cat's blood pressure was not monitored during her dental. After receiving a copy of her records the doctor confirmed the blood pressure was not monitored.
    Now for the details...I arrived as scheduled at Hulen Hills. The doctor was almost an hour late. I confirmed the pick up time with the doctor. The doctor did call me during the procedure to say that one tooth had a lot of cavities and asked for my permission to drill it down to gum level. She stated an extraction was not necessary. I now know had they taken dental x-rays they would have seen that the root was also damaged and needed extracted. I re-confirmed the pick up time with the doctor. I arrived to pick up my cat at the agreed time, waited about 20 minutes for them to bring my cat out in her carrier, paid the bill and left. I live 30 minutes from Hulen Hills. About 25 minutes into my drive they called to say that they left the catheter in her back leg! I did not see the catheter in her leg when I picked her up because of how my cat was sitting in the carrier. I immediately turned around.
    Upon arriving at the clinic I received no apology except from the receptionist and one tech who was not the tech responsible. I asked to speak with the tech responsible. I was told she was gone. The office manager actually blamed me for the error! I never received an apology from the doctor. In fact, after the phone call during surgery, I never heard from Dr. Early again. It was 3 days before a staff member finally called to see how my cat was doing post surgery. They did not give any pre-dental antibiotics and my cat kept vomiting up the post-dental antibiotics and pain medication. I told the tech that my cat still seemed lethargic and was vomiting and barely eating. I was told to give it a few more days because her mouth was probably sore.
    Two days later I took my cat to another vet. They did blood work and discovered her kidneys were shutting down. They immediately sent us to Mansfield Animal Emergency where my cat stayed for 3 and a half days. It was a very long road to recovery and my cat ended up needing another dental to remove the bad root left in by Dr. Early at Hulen Hills.
    So, over a year and 4 veterinarians later I've learned that all pet parents need to make sure that your pet's blood pressure is being monitored during ANY ANESTHESIA procedure. I had 4 veterinarians tell me that the lack of blood pressure monitoring was most likely the cause of the kidney failure.
    My cat now has permanent damage to her kidneys and I've spent well over $5000 to get her better. I wrote the owner of Hulen Hills a letter regarding the catheter issue, not to be mean but to let him know why I would not return. His letter of reply contained an apology but he actually blamed me for leaving the catheter in my cat's leg. He stated that my pick up time was out of their normal and I was to blame for their error. Because of his attitude towards the catheter problem, I didn?t even contact him because of their lack of blood pressure monitoring.
    My advice from this experience is to trust your gut. I should have left when the doctor was late. That was unprofessional. Also, check the prices. Hulen Hills is very high compared to other vet clinics. Again, I can't emphasize the importance of dental x-rays. If your vet doesn't do them, keep looking until you find a vet that does.
    I will never return to Hulen Hills and suggest that if you decide to use them that you will use them with caution and ask specific questions in regards to your pet's health.

    We are repeat customers. We have been going to them for a couple of years. I like them because they insist on all the shots been current. Last time we were in, they said our dog required a booster injection. We like them a lot. They are very courteous and they want to please. They deserve top marks. I can't compare the price to anywhere else as we don't use anywhere else.

    The staff is very kind. Our puppy is around 60 lbs and very energetic, but they were able to manage her energy to get her groomed. We dropped our puppy off at around 10am and received a call that she was ready for pick-up around 2:30. The cut was a little longer than we liked, but we spoke with the owner, Nikki, and she did a re-trim. The company keeps notes on how each pet is groomed so that they can track the owner's preferences for the next visit. Our puppy looks great. She still and quot;looks like a goldenand quot; but isn't shaggy anymore. We will be returning for her next cut in 6-8 weeks. We also toured the boarding facility and looked at the dog park. We liked the attention that they give to the dogs being boarded and we will keep them in mind for our next out-of-town trip.

    I have two Shitzus , Harley and Grayce.  They are skiddish litle creatures and don't take to just everybody as some puppies tend to do.  They do so very well with the staff at Happy Tails and always leave happy and looking beautiful.  I am careful not to take my pets to a groomer that uses a muzzle or sedates them which is very important to me.  The groomers at Happy Tails always ask for my comments or suggestions as to anything they might do to give me better service.  Answer:  nothing.   The prices are very reasonable for this type of grooming and very important to me, they usually have them finished and ready to come home in a little over 3 hours.  Sometimes less.  Out previous groomer had our puppy all day long and he was completely out of sorts by the time we were able to pick him up.  I am very pleased with this facility and the staff there and plan to continue to use them for the grooming of my puppies.

    • Our vet recommended Happy Tails and we're delighted with the recommendation. The dogs seemed happy with their stay, and I liked the excellent customer service. For example, Happy Tails offered to call our vet to verify immunizations, saving me the trouble of providing proof of immunization. They also mentioned that if the immunizations were not up to date, Happy Tails could arrange them with the vet next door. In addition to boarding, we had the dogs shampooed and groomed prior to pickup. They've never smelled so good!  Drop off and pick up hours are quite flexible, even on Saturdays. Final touch: my husband picked up our dogs at closing time. Unfortunately, his truck conked out when he picked up the dogs. The office worker stayed late while he waited for a service. And when he realized his vehicle had to be towed to a repair shop, she incredibly kindly offered to drive him and the dogs to our home. We will definitely use Happy Tails in the future!

    They are a bit difficult to get in touch with.. Usually have to leave a message and wait for them to get back to you. They dont take appointments every day, so there is a bit of a wait. However, it's the best grooming our Penny has ever had. She is a Sheltie with lots of hair, and she looks great, and is shedding less than she ever has.
