    Ulrich Barn Builders LLC
Great experience from start to finish. Justin was the consummate professional! Absolutely no pressure sales tactics of any kind. He pointed out the quality features and the choice for me was abundantly clear. I opted for the Premier Lofted Barn series with extra tall sidewalls. I had a custom onsite build due to sloping terrain. Bob built my shed I two days with absolute precision and craftsmanship. Along the way, he gave me a couple of options that made the shed even better, like lowering the height of the loft by 3 inches for extra space in the loft. When the work was done I had a quality structure that was even better than my own expectations! Ulrich surpassed the quality of even the most highly rated builder. With Ulrich, I got 2x6 floor joist on 12 center, Double 2x4 topped sidewalls, an eave vent system that was 15 to 20 degrees cooler than comparable sheds on a 100-degree day, full wrap around storage loft. and many more quality features not offered by other shed builders. If I ever need another shed or barn, Ulrich will be my first choice. If you are considering a quality shed, you owe it to yourself to take a look at Ulrich. You wont be disappointed.

We are very pleased with our 10'x12 Premier building.  From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience.  Steven did a great job selling the shed and Bob was spectacular with the installation.  We compared several shed brands and for the money, Ulrich was the best value.  Not the least expensive, but certainly the best built!

This was the strangest encounter with obtaining an estimate I've ever had. Called Mr. McPeak off the 2 recommendations on the list, and his location to my home. We agreed on a 1-2PM meet at my home on 03/29. About noon he called my wife and said he was delayed on a job and could he come between 8-9am next day--she said ok. The next day (Sat before Easter) I was at home and he was not here by 9am. Phone rang, but I missed the call. A voice message from McPeak said he was unable to find my house and call him. I immediately called him back and got his voicemail--left him a message---4 times. No call back from him. This was all within 2 hours of his message. He never called me back. I then tried the email link on the listing--it came back undeliverable?? Checked the link on Angies Listing and it was misspelled (don't know if this was his mistake, or Angies). Corrected the spelling and got an email off to him. The next morning (Easter Sunday) I got a reply saying in effect he did not want to do the work due to my having the slab installed already, listing several reasons it would not work. Then he generously volunteered to give me name of someone who he thought WOULD do the work. I sent a email back countering his reasoning about his concerns with the slab--and that is where it was left.
I cannot attest to his work quality, but his communications efforts are severely lacking.

    MILLERS METAL BUILDINGS
Miller's Metal Buildings in Burleson, Tx built my garage. Their price was good, their workmanship is excellent!  I called multiple contractors and got several bids. Miller's was not the cheapest, but they were deffinately reasonably priced. Their estimator, Keith Come, arrived on time, took measurements and then got a list of my specifications. He made helpful suggestions. The best of the suggestions he made was to consider insulating the shop at the time of construction. Boy, am I glad I took that suggestion to heart! The cost of the insulation actually came out cheaper doing it during the building phase and asthetically, you couldn't ask for a neater more proffesional looking appearance. My nieghbor's shop is uninsulated and the temperature difference is about 30 degrees on a 100 degree day. They started the job a week later than the projected date. I was OK with that, I just wish that the communication would have been better. I was told 3 to 5 weeks to get started. I had to call them at the end of the 5th week to find out it would be the next week. That's really the only complaint I had.The job took 3 days to complete. When the crew was done, the job-site was spotlessly clean. They swept the shop floor before leaving too. I couln't be more pleased with my new shop. I plan to use Millers Metal Buildings again, when I save up the money for an attatched car port on the new building. Use them. You won't be sorry that you did.

Everything went well. I decided to go with them based on their reputation. The manager helped us very well when we called for information. We were having issues with another contractor on another project, and he guaranteed that we would have no such problems with his company. He followed through on that. If I had another building to put up, I would call this company.

    SNYDER CONSTRUCTION
We originally had our doors measured and installation bid by home depot. Home depot added on a lot of hidden fees for extra materials and extra labor. We had Brian bid the job and he was $200 cheaper than home depot. He removed old rotted wood and replaced it. He added a storm door to the front door as well. He was actually early and got the job done in about 5 hours. Cleaned up all the mess very well. The doors look and work great.

They told us they would be done in 3 days, they were done in 3 days. They did a perfect job. They worked under very inclimate weather. Our fence people actually refused to work these days. They have great employees. I will call them again for any type of work of this nature that I need. We have called since and ordered another barn. They are on time every step of the way from deliveries, showing up, and completion.

    Construction By Todd
There was a long delay in beginning the project. Once begun, the prices for various sub contracted items continued to change (i.e. the foundation, framework, etc.). Worst of all, he didn't pay his subcontractors which resulted in a lien placed against our property, in spite of the fact that he had been paid for the work. We ended up having to pay the subcontractor again to remove the lien. We also found out from two different subcontractors that Todd had padded the bill he presented to us in order to have extra money to pay subcontractors from previous jobs for which he had not paid them. (We later found out that one of his subcontractors had previously placed a lien against Todd's property to force him to pay a 25,000 bill.) This was in addition to charging us 15% of the total bill for payment of his "services" as general contractor. At times it would be weeks before he would return our calls, meanwhile no one was working on our garage. This guy is bad news and should never be used for a building project. I wish we would have found this out much sooner, before we had to get an attorney to deal with the mess he made.
