    Do Not Take Your Vehicles to Herbert���s in Burleson! I am so very disappointed with my experience today. We have done business with this company for several years. We have brought many cars here and been pleased with the work and the customer service, until today. We asked Danny (the owner) to install a brake controller to our work truck because my husband just didn���t have time to get it done. He initially quoted one price and then realized the work would be more so he said it would cost more. My husband was at work so he asked me to talk to him and find out the new price. I stopped by on my way to work to discuss it with him and he was extremely rude and became angry and belligerent. He said I was questioning him and his judgement, when all I wanted was clarification and understanding (after all- this is not my profession, so I wouldn���t know). He has never been rude to my husband, but when I went in there alone, he was horrible to me! He slammed the vehicle door and cursed at me . I was trying to calm the situation and he got worse. I got out of there quickly. I was very fearful and flabbergasted. I can not believe that a man would treat a lady this way!! Never again will he get our business.

    D & S Diesel Repair
    Not as planned. Price went up $200.00 which they then lowered back down. Truck had the same leak 3 weeks later. More seals were damaged in the process. Wouldnt warranty it until we towed it in. Mind you this is 40 50 miles away and ts a big tow truck. Called and he said he would get to it when he could get to it.

    I took the truck in to have it checked. Because at times it would idle rough and temperature and oil gauges would light up. After testing they told me it failed the engine block test. I needed a new engine and radiator. So I went and purchased a new truck and kept the F-150. I went back in and questioned them about the test they performed. But I could not get anymore information than what they had typed on the receipt. In January I had someone else look at it. They seem to think it was something to do with the cooling system. So they replaced the thermostat. I have had no problems with it since. I will not do business with Christian Brothers in the future.

    Generally we take our automobile to the dealer, Honda of Burleson, because we get coupons from them in the mail.  We had the car there in September.  You have little contact with the workers, you talk to the office and they turn it over to the mechanic.  We have to call to make sure everything is okay.

    I took my car to Firestone on Overton Ridge because they had installed new pads a year ago, so they were still under warranty. They quoted $950: new pads (no charge), new calipers, new rotors (said they were too thin to machine them), new hoses. So then I went to Just Brakes on Altamesa for a second opinion.  They agreed that I needed new pads but said the calipers and hoses looked fine, and that the rotors had at least two more machinings left in them before needing replacement.  They were super fast, super polite, and obviously very honest.  The place is pretty run down looking and they don't have Wifi, but is a cushier waiting room with wifi really worth $750?

    He's a diesel mechanic. He's big truck, any diesel trucks and also tractor type equipment, so anything tractor, yellow iron, backhoes, rubber tires, fork lift and that type of thing. He's fantastic. When I had my trucking business, I have not had my trucking business for a year now, but I used him several times last Summer. I did use him on a personal basis for a truck that I haven't been in business, one time. Consistently, I hadn't seen him very much in the last year, but he's so good that I had to have problems with truck. Before that, I actually owned a trucking business and I had three trucks after him, He worked on all those trucks for me. He can probably charge more but he doesn't. He's super honest and he's efficient. He does what he says he was going to do. Its a very good deal.Not only the efficiency, the honesty and the price, he's local too.

    Dusty did great, told me step by step what he was going to do, why, and explained why it was necessary.  Had problems with getting one wrong strut, but that wasn't Kwik Kar's fault, that was Autozone not checking to see if the rear struts were both the same or not, even after I asked to make sure.  Dusty had them in, a little slower than he had first said, but that was due to more business coming in than expected, and one extra hour didn't hurt any, they did not charge for it, as they had to slow down the work on my car to better supervise other employees and make sure the quality of their work was good.   All in all a good experience, I will use them again and recommend Dusty and his team highly.

    We expected this brake repair to be at least twice as much.  However, Tommy only performed necessary repairs and we were pleased at a smaller bill.  When we needed tie rods repaired on the same vehicle a few weeks later we took it back and, once again, he only replaced the ones that were damaged.  His prices are very reasonable.  His shop is clean and organized.  He seems very knowledgeable.  He has integrity.  We will continue to use Quantum Mechanix for our repair needs.

    The mechanic reviewed my car and identified one of 10 items (several costly) the dealership said needed, or should be done, to my car.    Over several months I  let this firm repair the one (of 10 items on the list) he found needed fixing and do several other minor things on my car. I was very impressed with the mechanic in terms of his honesty and attitude, but the facts are that everything they "fixed" later failed.   Subsequently, I had another mechanic (recommended by Angie's list) review my car all over again, he noticed a major problem that was on the original list and would have caused several more problems if not corrected....and fixed what was previously fixed.    I felt sad, in that I like and respected the mechanic, but I want to have confidence that if I get something fixed, it will be fixed.
