Water Rock Custom Pools & Outdoor Living
The worst experience ever!! Unprofessional!! $48,000 of our money paid to him long long before June 21 when we ended our business with him!! ...and he has been here personally maybe 3 times since November and its June! A project that was promised a 6-8 week of time at most!! We all understand weather! However there were weeks of good weather, they did nothing! We have pictures and video time stamped. We documented everything after he stopped responding for a while and doing nothing. Blaming weather and then when no weather, just not responding. There was never any follow up from the owner and communication with his sub contractors was they had no idea what to do. No direction from him. The gas fire pit is still not complete, not sure it works?! Its never been turned on! The sealing of the wood posts never happened, the design was not what we envisioned from the original videos. And definitely not like all his fancy computer videos he uses to sell people. NO Customer service all all!! Those videos are just soft ware that makes it look like he knows what he is doing. ! Definitely dont believe anything he says because he is yet to follow thru on Anything! We hired a new electrician yesterday to put the right Hot tub electrical box in because the one he used would not work. The hot tub company is helping us today with it. We have had to delay our hot tub 4 times! I have had to move events planned in our home! Which cost me lots business!! All of our neighbors want to know who this contractor is so they dont ever do business with him. Several are ready to do pools and backyard projects, but wouldnt do business with him if he was the only one in the area!! The copper grounding wire is done completely unprofessional, the electrician we hired said normally you us more and run straight down and then bury in ground up to the stick. Just looks better safer, Jeff is nothing but short cuts!! I found crap buried where they dug gas out to run gas line. I watched his son out my window kick dirt over it. Jeff was there too. I work from home and I saw it all!! It was ...hurry up and finish so I can get money out of them....,He then called and asked us for more money with out even walking thru the finish with us!! He is not a business man! Hes a scam!!

    MM&I Remodeling
Everything went excellent! We were told it would take 8 weeks and that is what it took. We did not move out during the renovation and they were very accommodating to help us get around. They cleaned up at the end of each day and did not leave things messy. One neighbor said they would not have known we were doing a renovation except for the vehicles at the house. Very trustworthy. Left a key with them to come and go as they needed to. All the work done was exceptional. Had no complaints or anything that required redoing. Made suggestions to us when something looked like it should be changed. Very knowledgeable about what they were doing.

We are very pleased and beyond satisfied with the work done. We currently hired him again to do a third bathroom in our house. We look forward to the finish project with complete confidence that we know we will be beyond satisfied. They are way above your average craftsman and repair company. Thank you MM&I Remodeling. If you're looking for great quality and reliable service I highly recommend MM&I Remodeling.

    MM&I Remodeling
MM&I always does a professional job. They are thorough with each job and always make sure the finished product is perfect. They are timely with their projects and most always meet their estimated timeframes (weather sometimes being a factor in outdoor work). They are neat and clean and pick up their materials each day and they clean the work area up as much as possible so residents can continue to function in their home. I trust them in my home and know without question that I will be pleased with the overall outcome of each project. Their prices are fair for the excellent job that they do. I highly recommend this company!

LOVE THE END RESULT! Piotr and crew were on time, respectful of our time and property- cleaned up daily. He was present, on the job each day- not just checking on the work sporadically. We did run into some hurdles that Piotr identified & we contacted appropriate resources. These set us back a bit on our schedule, but the job was completed in a timely manner. Piotr is a perfectionist who has worked many years in and around our neighborhood. He may cost a bit more, but the quality and peace of mind is worth every penny.

    Lite it up electric
I originally spoke with the owner of the Company, Steven Moore, and he was very professional and explained all of my options to me. He was very knowledgeable on landscaping lighting from the materials he thought would be the best for the look I wanted and also in suggesting design ideas. When I decided to go ahead with the job, Steven returned along with another young man, Bryan, who was equally knowledgeable of professional. Both of these young men were extremely courteous and respectful and went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with their work. I will not only use them again when I need an electrician but I will recommend them to all of my friends and neighbors.

    Clear Choice Remodeling
The results of our remodeling were amazing and exceeded our expectations. There were no unexpected charges and the work was completed as scheduled.. The subcontractors doing the work were excellent and, believe it or not, were there when scheduled. Clear Choice provides construction superintendents and they ensure that the work is done properly and in a timely manner. We will use them again for future remodeling projects.

    Boerne Painting & Remodeling LLC
Two shocking revelations: 1) having communicated the horrors we went through with Boerne Painting and Remodeling on Angie's List last year, I was hoping more homeowners would read and avoid using BPR. As other homeowners stated who have used them, they are not dependable and if you provide them with any type of funding, you could end up exactly as we did. We are now out close to $300,000.00 with the new windows being installed. There are other trust-worthy contractors - use them instead of BPR. You will be money ahead and your final product will be one that meets your expectations 2) I visited with an Angie's List "supervisor or Manager" last year in an attempt to have BPR removed from Angie's List. Offered to share the lawsuit and data with them but they did not desire to see it. They stated they would review and if warranted, they would not allow BPR to post their add in Angie's List. I am not sure how much more is "warranted" to prevent the same type of unfortunate issue from occurring again. Preventing one person from using BPR makes my efforts successful - I spread the word everywhere.

Blades of Glory Landscaping & Lawncare
From the start, Johnny Garcia and his crew were responsive and did a great job. No sub-contractors... the crew who performed the landscaping were BOG employees. I got a reasonable estimate and the landscaping was completely redone... new plants, mulch, topsoil, moss rocks, and hard scape. The beds were converted to drip irrigation by a partner company, H3O. I also had them add 4 LED landscape lights. All in all they did a beautiful, quality job and I recommend them and will use them again for other jobs.

    My House
The contracted project was estimated to take 3 months at the outset. 8 months later Kurt quit, and the contracted work was still not finished. Positive things about our experience: - I was happy with the work done by all of his sub-contractors. I enjoyed working with each of them and have used many of them since Kurt disappeared to do additional projects. I have also referred friends to the majority of them. Negative things about our experience: - Kurt did not function as a contractor. His only contribution to this project was his contacts with good subcontractors. He was unable to communicate in a reasonable fashion (dodged calls and regularly claimed he was in areas ?with no cell reception?). He was unable to schedule his contractors in a reasonable fashion. All of their scheduling is done by his wife, and what he does not share in his initial meetings with potential clients is that his wife also has a separate day job. So she will look at scheduling issues (and any other issues) only on Mondays. This means that if something arises on a Tuesday it will not be addressed or considered for a full week - and then they will look at scheduling with the sub so there is a knock on effect that drags everything out much longer than is reasonable to expect. Kurt misrepresented the timeline of the project from the start in order to get the job. He stated the job would take 8-12 weeks. I later learned from the custom cabinet guy that his custom cabinets are never done sooner than 12-16 weeks. We didn?t even meet with the cabinet guy to discuss what we needed made until 6 weeks into the project. Over the eight months that we worked with him, Kurt was regularly unavailable because of various trips which he claimed took him to places that did not have cell reception. This included other contracting jobs, golf trips, and band gigs (he?s also a singer). Kurt often claimed that he was unable to address issues experienced with his subcontractors and/or scheduling because he was dealing with his other projects. He definitely seemed to have more going on than he could handle. When I contacted him once to help with a subcontractor issue he told me he was unavailable and that I was being unreasonable to expect an immediate response, citing his other projects as the reason. I asked him if he had too many projects going because I was hearing that reason a lot and he defensively said, ?I?m not even working on those projects right now. I working on my own home projects.? I replied that that did not make me feel better about the situation, and so he shouted at me, ?what I do on my own time is none of your business.? It was a Thursday morning. I was calling to discuss an issue with a subcontractor that he had scheduled to work at my house that day. This is a good example of the type of communication that you can expect when working with Kurt. Kurt will be charming and personable at the start, and as things become difficult (which I promise you they will with him in charge) this will dissipate and he will become difficult, condescending and rude. Kurt repeatedly misrepresents the truth. This was confirmed by three separate contractors who would talk with me on the job and confirmed (only after making me promise not to tell Kurt so they would still get jobs) that what Kurt had told me with regards to scheduling them was untrue. He consistently told me he had tried to schedule them, or that they were booked out etc etc - when really he was just covering the fact that he had just not gotten around to it yet. Kurt quit our job 8 months after starting it (he said the job would take 8-12 weeks, so I expected it to realistically be 12-15 weeks?). He quit via a text message which included aggressive and derrogatory statements about me personally. Obviously I do not think these were merited - but even if they were, his behavior was the height of unprofessionalism. Overall I am happy with the work done on my home. The subcontractors did good work. The work that was unfinished luckily had mostly not yet been paid for. That being said I would not hire Kurt or work with him again under any circumstance.
