    Mustard Seed Moving Co
Amazing! The Mustard Seed crew arrived early and surveyed the scope of work. They organized quickly and began dismantling the furniture pieces. All the parts/bolts were bagged, and everything was well wrapped. The baby grand piano was disassembled and wrapped with extreme care. Special consideration was given for the unloading team with the crew building a platform to protect the piano during transport and ease the unloading. What was more is that they screened the moving company at our destination to ensure they had the piano moving expertise. Then the Mustard Seed crew sent photos and diagrams of how things were packed in advance to the company that unloaded us. Mustard Seed Moving seasoned load masters maximized every square inch of space. After moving many times in the Military, I have never seen the level of professionalism and care that Mustard Seed Moving provided to us during this move. Once we arrived at our destination the local company explained that they had been briefed in advance by Mustard Seed Moving and knew what needed to be done. Mustard Seed Moving has set a new standard for moving.

    AMBIANCE BY DESIGN
I picked this firm because they were responsible for the total remodeling of our existing home.  They had added on an outside deck also, but my husband wanted a hot tub.  Owner,  Leslie Konarske, and her team, came up with a wonderful lower extension from our upper deck to the hot tub below.  Her team poured the slab and continued stairs and decking to connect with above existing one.  Lights were built in certain areas to give beautiful glow and safety from deck to spa.  It looks great and not only that design was made so that we don't have to step on one blade of grass entering or exiting spa.  Great!!

Later I had Leslie and her crew come out and create an office space just for my self.  She found great office furniture, storage, linens, pictures and etc. to make my new space fun and very attractive.  The great thing about Leslie, is that she gets to know your personality and matches your surroundings to your wants.  This requires great skill and professionalism.  Love her and her crew!!!

    RAY'S UPHOLSTERY
We had six dining room chair seats reupholstered.  We supplied the fabric.  We dropped off and picked up the seats.  The work was done in two days (as scheduled) and the quality of work was excellent.  Ray was very friendly, courteous, and very professional.  We will definitely use Ray again in the future.

    REYNA UPHOLSTERY
Reyna Upholstery is a father-son operation.  They were very professional and polite!  Scheduled me in very quickly and were able to keep price down because they did repair on-site (did not have to haul chair back to shop and then return it to me).  I think I was outside their usual pick up & delivery range since we are north of 1604.  They did a wonderful job, quickly repairing the chair so that it looks/feels like new.  Because of the value of the chair, I felt the repair price was reasonable.  I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again myself.

    Boerne Painting & Remodeling LLC
We had used this service provider to paint the exterior of our house and were very pleased. We contracted with them for some minor remodeling based on our prior experience.  I believe they underestimated the time and work involved in at least one of the projects (staining of cabinets in the library).  Consequently, they left another part of the remodel undone.  Changing the door from the master bedroom to the master bath.  Numerous phone calls.  "I'll get back with you". "I need to check our calendar". Nothing. We contracted with another provider to finish the work. I'm sorry that they may have under bid the job but that is certainly not our fault or responsibility.  They should have honored the contract and completed the work. Indicated project would take 5 - 7 days.  Took over three weeks without completion.  Did not work full days consecutively at all. However, I had to be present all day every day as I did not know when or if they would show up for work.

    HAVERTYS FURNITURE
Horrible customer service. Don't believe them when they tell you when your furniture will be delivered, and then when it's not they tell you it will be over a week before they can reschedule because "that's how our system is set up". Then to add injury to insult, when you try to cancel the order they tell you it will take up to another week to take the charge off of your credit card "because that's how our system is set up". Their system was certainly set up to charge your card before the door closed behind you as you left the store. Then they will tell you that a manager will call you back to address your complaint, and they won't.

    HOME DEPOT

The installation took the technician over 10 hours to complete and he insisted that lots of stuff needed to be done to bring the water heater installation up to code.  The installation cost of $1490+ was in addition to the price of the water heater at Home Depot.  The technician insisted that the water heater had no warranty except through Home Depot - wrote it on the receipt.  He told me that he had just moved to this state and had not taken his license exam yet.

Less than 30 days later the water heater failed because he used old or previously used wire nuts and one broke allowing the water heater to short out.  I called the company and insisted they send a licensed technician out.  The same technician returned and was able to salvage enough wiring from the water heater itself to reconnect it.  He reiterated that if it could not be fixed then we would need to fight the provider (Home Depot and manufacturer) for a replacement and the installation charge would be extra.

This morning my wife noticed a stain on the ceiling of the master bedroom closet.  On investigation it was wet and there was extensive mold on the wall and adjoining stored personal stuff.  Moisture was found by the water heater and an obvious leak was seen on the pipe installed with the new heater.

The installation company was contacted and said they would have a technician on site between 9 and 11.  At 11 I started calling and was told the technician was on another job and would proceed to mine as soon as he was finished.  I called corporate offices because this was not what I was promised.  By this time I was incensed and everyone involved knows it.

A technician showed up and assessed the situation and immediately began taking corrective measures.  I was told the original guy did an installation that was contrary to (state?) codes.  The leak was found and new parts were ordered.  The reinstallation took less than 3 hours and looks better than the original job.  The company is accepting responsibility and liability for the mold damage and has someone on the way to deal with drying my home out but there is a lot of damage to my home and contents.

This strongly suggests to me that using a Home Depot contractor may have the replacement/repair insurance but that does not assure the job will be done in a manner to protect your purchase and property and may involve damage done or caused by unlicensed workers employed by the approved contractor.

    A New Life Restoration LLC
I had a desk I inherited from my mother restored, and a broken dresser drawer fixed.  Jackie and her crew are very nice folks to work with, and very responsive.  The results were great -- desk looks fantastic, and the dresser drawer works well.  I am so pleased I am having an old chair restored.  I highly recommend them.

Very well.  He did an excellent job.  I had additional work done so it exceeded the deal price.  They showed up when they said they would.  They gave me a price right then and there.
