Appliance Repair reviews in Bee Cave

Like other members, I purchased an extended warranty from Lowe’s and the work was contracted out to Appliance Science. They have now missed 3 appointments between October 31 - December 31, 2018, and on only one of these appointments did they actually call to let me know they couldn’t make it. They also do no follow-up after missing an appointment. Instead you have to chase them down to reschedule. Extremely unprofessional. If you can avoid this company, you should. Calling Lowe’s call center has provided little to no assistance. They clearly have no back-up plans. I’ve wasted far too much time and impacted my own business by waiting for these people to show up, and hoping the same doesn’t happen to you.

Excellent. The technician arrived on time ) the day after my phone call. After listening to my description he said it sounded like the moisture sensor was shutting down the dryer early. He took apart several parts of the dryer to check and see if there was another problem--none was found. He reassembled the dryer and suggested I use the timer setting for the light blankets. I have done that and have had no problem since then.

Text book the way it should go. I submitted the claim online. Received a notification within 20 minutes. The service technician called within 6 hours to schedule the call. Showed up on time, had the part on his truck and fixed the problem.

Atlas came by to diagnose a refrigerator smell issue. Overall the experience was good. The communication style and phone etiquette was a bit rough - extremely direct and absent of pleasantries. I'd likely call again.

I called him the first day, left a message and he didn't call back. The second call, he said he was busy and would call me back, but he never did. The third time, we were able to set a schedule for Wednesday. He comes late, looks at the dryer for 10 minutes, says it's the timer, and leaves. He said he would call me, but he never called back. I had to call him back again, and he said it would cost $100 to service and $125 for the part. My dryer itself cost $100! It was very unprofessional, and I will not use this company again in the future.

Absolutely Amazing service. They work on everything and all brands. I called at 8am and Russell was here by 1pm. My microwave and my dishwasher were fixed in no time. The price was amazing. I cannot recommend enough. A+ experience.

It turned out fine. I had a little trouble with the model number. We mis-communicated on the model number, so it took him a while to get out here which was fine. He did good. I had no problems. I had to call him back several times, he had written down the wrong model number and eventually he called me.

Rodney was thorough and really made sure to investigate the issue completely. One (or a few) thing(s) I loved is that he answered his phone when I called, came out at the last minute and made sure he communicated how and when the problem could get fixed. I would definitely use him again.

We had a horrible experience with Sears. It took them over a week to come. We had notified Sears of our problem so that they could be prepared to bring the correct replacement parts but when the service technician came he took one quick look and said I don't have the parts for this repair. He said he had 4 large ice maker boxes which were taking the majority of room in his truck - he said Sears stocks his truck and does a terrible job managing the truck inventory and planning ahead. He then got on the phone with the Sears scheduling lady who then said it would be a month before he could come again! We begged and pleaded to have him try and come earlier, to which the service technician convinced the scheduling lady to get him scheduled to come back 1 week later. The part (replacement fan) was ordered and came on time. 1 week later the service technician came within the 4 hour window they give you. Replaced the ordered part and went off on his merry way. After paying over $300 for the repair - 2 hours later the refrigerator stopped working and started to display the error code and again was not cooling at all! After paying $300 waiting for three weeks for our refrigerator to be repaired, we still don't have a working refrigerator!!! We are very displeased!! WE WILL NEVER USE SEARS AGAIN!!! Horrible experience! This company is going bankrupt, it's only a matter of time. Eddie Lampert - I hope you read this.

I contacted this company after using another appliance repair. Johnny came out and replaced some parts, after ordering parts and the problem was still not fixed. I was getting no water and the flap for the ice dispenser was not closing. He replaced the board and the flapper motor assembly. The previous company had replaced the water valve. So after 3 tries I called kitchen aid and they recommended a certified kitchen aid repair company. He knew immediately what was wrong replaced the mother board and the problem was solved. He also replaced the motor assembly with a different model. I called Johnny to see if I could get money back for the part he installed and he said he would call me. It has been 2 weeks and I have not heard from him. From now on I will call the manufacture and deal only with their recommendations for repairs. This was an expensive repair but it cost me more than it should have if the problem had been diagnosed correctly in the first place .
