  • They were extremely responsive, and quick with the installation. All of our plants flourished (except 2 trees which they did replace months later). There were some hiccups (it's what you get for fast installation, attention to detail) but they fixed after my feedback. Also the irrigation did rip up our yard, they did re-plant our grass which is now beautiful.

  • I’ve been using Jodi’s services for over a year now and always happier as time goes by. I had zero knowledge of the power of plants and even less about meditation and energy. She is a patient teacher with much experience in many things. She has worked with me on some mobility issues, safety and in consideration of my doctors regiments and my needs. I now have a more positive life schedule which includes monthly reiki and daily meditation exercises. Jodi is very educated on herbs and sensitive to others on medications and side effects, which is why I chose her. It’s nice to trust someone on issues like this and know they truly care, thank you.

  • We have used Jodi a few times now after having wonderful experience and results on our outdoor living areas. She extended her expertise and uses her horticulture therapy and health coaching to make the landscaping projects even funner, but also is helping clients on other levels. So I brought her back to build some raised planter beds she suggested last year, and a path, that would make it easier on me and my elderly mom to garden in. I have back issues that Jodi was aware of, and that was a big focus too. She helped me get a plant not only with our yard, but with our wellness. I wrote a more detailed review under her Nature Awakens site for people to read. Thank you again for creating perfect planter beds for us, your crew is so sweet and considerate, and I cannot thank you enough concerning my back. Highly recommend this company and Jodi. She even works with our cat on her anxiety and aggression problems, and has made great improvement.

  • Jodi is becoming a family friend now and we are very happy about that. She did a big overhaul of our backyard last year and knew about my back flaring up. So when she told me she was making it official on her other business, I jumped on board quickly. With my back so unpredictable, it makes it **** ** me to be outside working in my gardens. So she constructed raised stone planters and pathways to help me on that. Her landscaping and hardscaping skills are beyond expert level. Other issues were coming up concerning my back that were causing me sleep problems, and she always leant a compassionate ear. But she also wanted to help. So she had me form some questions, wrote all my medications down, and we went over those extensively. She gave me her opinions and experience on the possibilities of the side effects of some things I was taking, and I made an appointment with my doctor to discuss. She also referred me to a doctor more specialized with pain management drugs, who I really love now, and she is helping me on changing some drugs around too. So far this has been remarkable. I have a great place to plant, but also am using some herbal teas and oils for aromatherapy, which are helping my sleep bigtime. I am a big believer in spiritual meditation but just never understood some things, and Jodi helped me with that. We developed a schedule and set goals, and I like how she broke it up. She seems to really see different personalities in people and is easy to work with. I like her direct approach on wellness though and it opened my eyes to a lot. We are going to hire her for a children's birthday party too and she is going to show the kids how to make a fairy garden, and other plants for them to learn with butterflies and hummingbirds. I am trying to change my attitude about my back and stay set in these goals. Next appointment I am going to have her do Reiki with me and my 84 year old mother. Jodi is very professional and knowledgeable about working with the elderly too, and has helped my mother with her yard too and some mobility concerns. Finally I feel hopeful in my life and health goals, and she makes a very strong person in my support system. You work too much Jodi, but please do not stop. We are so happy you are helping this world in many ways.

  • The office she had at that time was very small with no pleasant
ambiance. Her prices after the special were high compared to others with
a better space. My husband used her services for some time after that
as I felt she needed the business but he quit after he felt she couldn't
really help him with his back/neck problems.

  • Original visit was early in 2012, shortly after moving to Austin. I've been going to Dr. Nemec since for general dental care and orthodontics, and am absolutely wowed by his skill and the entire office. I've had dental issues for years -- badly misaligned, overlapping teeth which meant decay issues and gum problems. Dentists in CA had recommended braces, but said Invisalign wasn't workable in my case and wanted to pull out a front tooth to provide room. I balked at that.
Dr. Nemec suggested Invisalign, noting that there had been changes to the product that made it more suitable for cases like mine. He also figured out that I was grinding my teeth at night, and that some of my headaches were probably TMJ-related. As a temporary solution while he filled cavities and we waited for the braces to come in, he used Botox to lessen the grinding/TMJ. Worked beautifully and painlessly.
He and his staff are wonderful with regular dentistry -- they believe that a relaxing environment helps lessen patient stress and pain, and do all sorts of simple-but-different things (heated towels around the neck/shoulders, television goggles for distraction) to keep patients from focusing on "oh, hey, someone's drilling a hole in your tooth." Over the past few months, I've gotten a crown and several fillings, and seriously, there is so little pain involved that it's shocking.
The orthodontics have also gone smoothly -- I'm about 2/3s through the course and the improvement is very clear.
Best part is the staff, though -- they are fantastic from front desk to dental techs. The office is busy, so it can be hard to get a slot, but they work with you to find the most convenient available space. They are also awesomely punctual. Whoever is doing the insurance billing is brilliant -- I've gotten significant refunds, so they know the insurance codes and file FAST.
Just a really, really good team and I've had excellent experiences so far.

  • The location is on 620, not far from Lakeway.  Allow enough time to find the office; it's not hard to find, but is located on a curve in the highway so you might drive past it the first time.  It's easy enough to turn around and get back to the correct office complex.

The appointment went as would be expected - an initial discussion about health history and what's bothering you, then disrobing and getting on the massage table.  Table was very comfortable with comfortable sheets/blanket.  The second time I went the weather was cool, so Cheryl turned on a heater that warmed the table - very nice!

Cheryl began with some reflexology work, I suppose about 25 minutes worth. Then she began working on my shoulders, neck, upper back and back of the head. She knew where to find the tight knots and how to work them out.  Very effective and relaxing.

I recommend her highly and will gladly go back when something needs some attention.  One plus over chiropractors - no need to take an x-ray and then come back another time for the first treatment.  If you want relief from pain now, go see Cheryl.

  • My Milk and Honey Spa experience was very nice. I went with my three daugters for a deep tissue massage. The spa was very clean and the atmosphere was calming. Sarah was my massage therapist. She adjusted the pressure during my deep tissue massage to my liking. The music playing during my massage was very low-key and relaxing, although one of my daughters was very dissapointed that during her massage she was forced to listen to the same Norah Jones song four times. After my wonderful massage, I showered and used the available products, which were fine. I especially liked the mint-scented body lotion. My daughters paid for our massages, so I didn't have an experience dealing with payment. After leaving the spa, I felt wonderfully refreshed, my skin felt great and I almost felt like I could float with all the tension having been released from my muscles.

  • The office was somewhat difficult to find which caused me to be a little late (5-10 minutes) for my appointment. I found out about her because of an Angie's List offer for $20 off and a free Aromatherapy Lotion. She offered to either make up my 10 minutes or give me the free lotion. I thought that was a little persnickety...either she had time to make up the time or not. I ended up taking the free lotion instead of making up my time. As far as the office, it was a little drab and the divider between her office area and the massage area where I had to change out of my clothes was fairly sheer. I was a little uncomfortable about that. Also, she had a very large dog in the small space as well. It also made me feel uncomfortable at first but it ended up being obedient and staying on a small area rug. In regard to her actual skills, she was fabulous. She offered me a variety of different types of massage. I chose a combination of a back massage and Reflexology, which is a detailed foot massage. I had never had Reflexology before and I really enjoyed it! I was amazed at how different parts of my body became warm and relaxed when she massaged different areas of my feet. I was a skeptic gong into it but it really seemed legitimate. The back massage was also to die for. I overall enjoyed the whole experience and next time I would be able to find her office better. I thought the $65/hour from the Angie's List special was reasonable, however I don't know if I would go back and pay the full $85/hour.
