Ordering the Anderson windows and the subsequent installation went very well. William Sparks and his sidekick Rusty were a pleasure to work with and the installation, including the clean up, was completed in less than five hours.

The actual owner of the company is very unprofessional when speaking with the customers. The company stated to us when purchasing the windows that the windows would be installed by a certain day, that was untrue. I was spoken to by the owner yelling and screaming and then hung up on. His own workers heard his unprofessional behavior and were very embarrassed!

Tony and the crew were wonderful. I have no complains at all. They gave us a quote and help with any addional issues with the house. Everything got fixed, and in a timely matter. Each day they clean up when left the house in evening and everyone was professional. We are very happy with our house, looks new :)

Great - I love, love, love the Solatube product! This one is again a unit that includes the exhaust fan. It is lovely and light in the bath now, where before it had a dark corner. On the day that it was installed, a summer storm blew up and the young man doing the installation was very quick to make sure that the roof opening was taken care of before the storm actually hit. Daylight Rangers does a terrific job!

If you know someone that provided money to this company and did not get the work done, contact the attorney general and the local police department to file a complaint. This is as close as it gets to insurance fraud. And they are still advertising trying to bring more people in.

I was in the market for windows and the replacement of two patio doors. Ralph was one of the vendors I contacted. He discussed and showed me the products he would use for my home. I advised Ralph that I wanted blinds in my patio doors because my dream is to get rid of my vertical blinds. The patio door that he felt was the most beneficial in terms of quality and security did not come with blinds in-between the glass. I advised Ralph I did not like the look of his windows. The patio door he recommended wouldn't work because it did not come with the blinds. Ralph and I spoke for a long time during our first visit as if we were old friends. So, I felt comfortable advising him I didn't like his product. When advising my family about my experience with Ralph, they stated it's as if you've known him for quite awhile. No, Ralph is just a down home, laid back kinda guy who is easy to talk to and get along with. You can't ask for more. He is just a really nice man. After I told Ralph his products were not going to make me reach for my wallet, instead of becoming argumentative or pushing back and doing a hard sell on his product, Ralph stated he understood. Ralph was professional, personable, patient and kind throughout this entire transaction. While I continued to contact other merchants, without my knowledge Ralph was researching other window and patio door manufacturers looking for what I wanted on my house. He contacted me after a few days and asked if he could show me a window from another manufacturer. I agreed and was pleasantly surprised at his selection. The NT window was one I had researched and was in the process of trying to find someone who could obtain the window and install it. Ralph found out the window manufacturer of the windows he wanted to show me also made the patio doors with the blinds. I was impressed with the fact that Ralph was not married to the Simonton window he liked, but was open and willing to find a product that I liked and wanted installed on my home. He went the extra mile without even knowing whether I was considering his company for my business or not. Ralph's business is family owned. His brother Terry, and nephews Matt and Justin work with him. All very nice men. They were professional, kind and personable. They respected my home and made sure everything was the way they found it. There was an incident where I was worried about whether my alarm would work after the sensors were removed when they guys replaced the windows and doors. Ralph and Terry were thoughtful in making sure they were able to connect the wires so I could set the alarm until the alarm rep could come out and re-connect it correctly. My experience with Ralph went well because he allowed me to advise him of what I wanted. He did not try to pressure me to purchase his products. As a woman, it is important merchants respect you as the decision maker and not relate to you in a condescending manner. Ralph will listen and do his best to deliver what you want. He believes in getting you the best product for your money without breaking the bank. Ralph is very considerate of your wallet. I did not share other vendor prices with Ralph to get him to charge less for his because his estimate was $3000-$4000 under all the vendors I obtained an estimate from. In fact, one told me that my small bathroom window would cost me the same as one of my regular windows. He further advised that most people do not replace those windows because of the cost. I did ask Ralph if he had the same policy, he couldn't believe someone told me that. He advised no that would not be the case in regards to that window. He asked if I wanted it replaced, he would replace it. It was not all perfect, but not because of anything Ralph did or did not do, but the manufacturer of the patio doors. There were some problems with the blinds in the doors which Ralph has advised the manufacturer of the problem. It took them forever to get the doors done. I'm not sure why but one of the patio doors wasn't finished until the end of August which was not acceptable. I didn't cancel the order because I was going to be out of town anyway. It all worked out. While Ralph was in my home, he pointed out that the front screen door was not very secure because someone could just pull it open or easily pry it open. He recommended a Larson door. I researched it and replaced my $80 front screen door with a Tradewinds Larson door although Ralph recommended the Larson security door (Too much glass to keep clean) . I feel more secure now because the screen door has a dead bolt lock and not one of those hinge thingys on the door facing. Customer service and getting what you want for your home is very important to Ralph. After Ralph and company were finished, my windows and doors are beautiful. In fact, the guys did such a good job, I want to share the results with you. I had seven windows replaced, including a small bathroom window, two patio doors and solar screens for all except the bathroom window. Ralph did the solar screens himself, as you can see they are beautiful. There are no solar screens (At the time of this writing, Ralph was working on them) on the patio doors.

When my husband and I scheduled the window replacement, they told us that they were about 2 months out. This wasn't a big deal, especially once they told us that each window is individually custom made. A few days after we signed all of the paperwork, someone came out to take all of the measurements. AEB called me the week before the two month mark to schedule the install. Since my husband works nights, Friday was the easiest day for us to be present (though they said it wasn't required for someone to be there the whole time), so we scheduled for that following Friday, 6/23. The workers showed up bright and early and went straight to work. I was amazed at how quickly they got the job done while still achieving an outstanding quality of work! In less than a day they had the entire house done, including the finishing. The work crew had a few guys in it, and you could tell each had an assigned task within the scope of the job. They worked quietly, but were very nice and respectful. Once I started joking around with them a bit I found that they were friendly as well, and heard them joking around a bit once they realized it wouldn't bother us. Even then, though, they never stopped working except for a quick lunch break. They were very careful to cover and protect everything in the house, and once they were done they cleaned everything up perfectly and even hung up all of the blinds and curtains! They had my husband walk through at the end to see how everything looked, and we both ended up impressed with the work they had done. They even told us they would have been done earlier but that they were one man short on the crew that day. One thing that I thought was impressive was how they made sure to close the doors as they took windows out of a room so that the rest of the house wouldn't get quite as hot since it was so warm outside, which was a consideration I don't believe a lot of crews would have thought of. The windows themselves are amazing as well! The heat inside of the house has definitely been reduced, and the lack of sound from outside is outstanding! Since my husband works nights, this was one of the main reasons we wanted to replace the windows. Every noise from outside came through the old windows, and even someone just shutting their car door hard close by could make them rattle. Now, with the new windows, I can hear a loud boom of thunder, but not much else. It is wonderful for my husband, and he sleeps much better now during the day! Overall, I am extremely impressed with American Eagle Builders and would wholeheartedly recommend them! Both the work and the product have exceeded my expectations, and I'm sure we will be using them again in the future for other projects! **NOTE: The inside pictures were taken while the guys took a quick lunch break, which is why it looks incomplete. The outside pictures were taken after completion.

No confirmation calls before our appointment so I wasnt sure they would even show up. They did show up but 3 1/2 hours EARLY saying they were in the area and asked if they can go ahead and start working. The Rep for the company was extremely nice and professional so I agreed although I had to leave due to another appointment in an 1 1/2 hours. . I was hesitant to prepay and leave but thought this being a referred Angie's List company it would be ok. Before leaving - their pressure hose was not working and two of the 3 workers left for lunch per the 3rd remaining worker which delayed the work even more. I had hope to have time to stay till they were finished. Once I returned home the front of the house looked good but the back of the house had both gates wide open and the 5 sunscreens they took off my back windows laid about in the yard and not replaced. Looked like they left in a hurry!! The gutters were clean, the window cleaning was fair and the 1/2 of the pressure cleaned driveway looked great. Would have like ALL of the driveway pressure cleaned to match. There is more - when I gave my Discover card to pay them before I left we agreed the $99 Angie's List special was prepaid!! So the $103 for the window cleaning and $85 for one hour of pressure cleaning was due BUT they charged my card $292.00 instead of the $188 I expected. The Rep ran my card off his credit card app on his IPhone which did not give a total - only a place to sign and was not able to provide an invoice or receipt. I did get a text from Discover showing the over charge eventually. I called Joe M the manager the same day 4:00 pm to tell him of the above mentioned and had to leave a message. I ALSO text Joe M pictures of their work and text a message of their overcharges - asking for a response please. - no response. I called Joe M again the next day as well. NO response from Joe M or this company- 4 days now waiting. Now I'm having to contact Discover to dispute the charges. Very disappointing!

Daylight rangers installed a SOLARTUBE in my living room and a SOLAR STAR fan in my roof in late 2013. They did a great job and I now have much more light in my living room and my attic stays cooler. Last weekend my SOLAR STAR fan blade came off and landed in the floor of my attic. I contacted Daylight Rangers on Tuesday and they made an appointment to come out on Thursday to correct the problem. The service person came on time and quickly replaced the SOLAR STAR under warranty. This is great service. I highly recommend these people.

I wanted to take time to provide a brief write-up on the Vinyl Siding and Window project recently completed by Renew Home Exteriors. Not only was I attempting to put a “facelift” on the house, but also assist with a personal goal of reducing routine maintenance on it. I am currently recovering from Myeloma Cancer. In doing so, my energy level is not like it used to be, whereas, I would do my own home improvements on my own leaving minimal projects to outsource to contractors to do. I did my research and had several contracting companies come over to discuss. What amazed me with Renew Home Exteriors, they listened to what I was attempting to accomplish in modernizing the look of the house, but also reduce the emphasis on maintenance so I would not need to worry about future efforts on my part. They listened and provided back ideas to reinforce my objectives; the other contracting companies were not as open and candid with ideas; hence, I felt as if I was just another “project” for them. Once they started work, each person associated with Renew who came out and worked on the house, were very caring and sociable, letting my family know when to expect them each day. It was not a surprise for me to be asked to come outside to take a look at something they decided they wanted to do with the original vinyl siding design, to further improve in their mind to make it look much better than what was mutually agreed upon initially. In other words, these guys were taking a personal interest to make my house look the best it can, “doing the right thing right now”, at no extra cost. I value this since not always can one visualize how the end look will look. During the final walk around upon completion, there were some slight things we both saw together to tidy up and they plan to drop in within the next couple of days to do; however, the completed project has tremendously improved the overall look of the house and met my personal objective. If I have future projects where Renew Home Exteriors can be considered a contractor, I will definitely use them again. Very honest, caring, and takes personal interest to meet the Customer’s needs. I value having such a great Customer Experience and look forward again working with them if the need arises.
