    Classic bait and switch! Got an online quote from "Chris" to replace brake pads and rotors. After dropping off my truck for the repairs, was called by store manager "Joe" that the quote couldn't be honored and the cost would be double. Contacted customer service - they pulled the chat and confirmed the quote amount. They said made a mistake, "leaving a few services off" which drove up the cost. The store wouldn't honor the quote - said it came from customer service, not them! They ALL work for pep boys, just pointing fingers at each other! End result - I picked up my truck still needing repairs. Never again, and I cannot stress enough the lack of integrity and accountability from this company. Stay away!

    I worked with Matt at the Grapevine location. He was very friendly and professional. He gave me a fair quote, and stuck to it. His quote came in under half of what Grapevine Nissan dealership quoted me! They put a new axle on, re-aligned and it was driving funny. Instead of giving it to me and letting me complain, he called before I picked it up and asked if I had experienced it before. We decided it was a new issue, so he put on a second axle and re-aligned again, same issue. He sent my original axle to be re-built, and put it on and re-aligned again. It's driving great now (decided it was probably a manufacturer defect and is looking into it.) More than anything, he was honest - he didn't just put the axle and send me on my way. He kept working on the vehicle until the problem was actually solved. Despite having to do the job 3 times to get it right, he didn't try to slide in any extra charges to cover the extra labor expense or try to make it seem like it was my fault to charge me more. (There have been so many times I've had to argue with people that I shouldn't be charged more for their errors!) He was respectful of my time and kept me in the loop. I'll definitely use their shop again.

    The mechanics did not believe the throttle actuator needed to be replaced, just cleaned.  Replacement of the throttle body would have cost between $700-$800.  Instead, they cleaned it, tested it, and followed up with me to make sure I was not having any more problems with it.

    I will continue to have my car serviced at Mid-Cities Service Center.  The staff there is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and does not try to sell me parts or services I do not need. If you live nearby, they will also give you a ride back home while your car is being serviced.

    It's so nice to have mechanics I can trust!

    Fast and thorough.  Everything was well documented.  I elected not to have the repair because of the cost.  But I felt they were probably median to the market, I just needed an estimate before I got into it.

    The first two cleanings were FANTASTIC.The first time I ordered a deep cleaning and three people showed up and knocked it out in 2 hours. I was astonished. They did an immaculate job. Same with the second cleaning. Subsequent cleanings have rapidly gone down hill since then with them sending the D crew today who took 2 hours longer to do the exact same job. There was also drama from James the scheduler trying to pump me for money. The sent me a text saying they were offering holiday scheduling discounts then jacked the rate up so the net effect was that I was paying $50 more for the same service after the discount. They maintain that I was asking for a deep clean when that's what I've been getting all along. When I called them on that, they booked anyway at the same price then sent the extra slow crew so they could charge me for the extra 2 hours it took to do the same cleaning I've always gotten. Good cleaning services are hard to find. If you want one, keep looking, don't use these guys past the first visit or two. And for the record, I'd gladly pay more for consistent quality. Hey business owner: Just discovered you aren't charging enough to cover your costs? Overbooked due to holiday demand? Want to put a holiday bonus in your employee's hands before Christmas? No problem, just shoot straight with me and let me decide if I want to pay. I'll probably pay it because I'm addicted to great service and hate change, I just don't like being jacked around at the last minute and I'm really ticked at the poor quality of today's cleaning.

    Very thorough in checking all of the car's systems and telling me their status.  Checked code for check engine light and advised me on action (told be that no immediate repair was necessary, only to pass yearly inspection.  To me that says they are not trying to their job and not trick me into paying them more).  A few dollars more than other places but worth it.  The downside is that appointments must be scheduled a few days in advance even for just an oil change. I plan on going back their for car services when I can.

    I called and left a message around 8:30am and within 1 minute, Troy called me back. He said he'd have someone over by noon and he pulled up at 11:53am! I cannot believe how quickly he responded and performed the work. I sent a message to several vendors and he was the only one to respond. If he were a super hero, I'd call him Flash because he was speedy and work was precise. We're already planning another job for our Jeep's cracked windshield - we are very happy (the price was very competitive too)!

    I like it and I got a good deal on it. They were great. I recommend them to everyone and I have bought two cars from them and my sons have bought their cars from them. The service is great and the only thing I wish would change is the wait time for a oil change wasn't so long. That's the only bad thing that I can say. Everybody is nice and easy to get along with. They gave me a discount for being a multiple car buyer. The salesman was great and they processed everything fast. I told them that I had to be some place by a certain time and they made sure that I was out of there and was able to make my appointment. They were professional.

    He will replace the part rather than the whole module, which saves you a lot of money. He will electrically check out the whole module and then get the part within the module which needs to be replaced. I have been using him for years and years. He is excellent.

    Communication leading up to the service was good and helpful. Larry and his crew showed up on time and immediately went to work. I had forgotten to get the car keys from the owner of the car and it was parked in an awkward spot to facilitate the detail service. Larry worked around the problem and the car came out looking great. Larry was very professional and it was great conversing with him as he worked. I and the owner of the car was very pleased with the results and with Primetime's service. I will use them again.
