Zach is great with the dogs. He is very open to feedback and does a great job cleaning up afterwards. Love having the ability to have my girls groomed at home!

    ZJH Mobile Grooming
When we first hired Zach, it was out of necessity when our last irresponsible groomer dropped our dog off the grooming table and he became paralyzed (and the dog had to be put down a few months later). Until Zach, we never used a mobile groomer before and thought it was unaffordable. Zach not only took great care of our dogs and eased our minds of worry. But he also groomed them beautifully and his rates were affordable. We now use Zachary exclusively and we have recommended him many times to our friends (who now use him too.)

Amazing. The way Zach handled my puppy, I’m confident that she will do well through her life of regular grooming. I’m delighted that we found Zach.

I am not one to leave reviews and I’ve had to wait to leave this one to make sure I’m at least a little cooled off. I would give a negative rating if I could. Less than 2 weeks after starting to raise chickens, a hen’s eye started bulging. I took her to the vet ASAP. This vet barely looked at my chicken and told me her eye tumor was cancer, not contagious to my other chickens, and sent us on our way. No test of any sort was done. I took her home and let her live out her days. I found out from a knowledgeable chicken person about 2 months later that it was actually coccidiosis, which is a respiratory disease, treatable, and highly contagious to my other chickens. My hen did NOT have to die! I found too much blood in the coop on two different mornings. I was concerned it was a different hen who was a new layer. I made an appointment late on Thursday for the following Saturday (chicken vet not available that evening or on Friday). I arrived for the appointment and was impressed with their procedures related to COVID-19. After being taken into the room, the vet ended up telling me he would not see my chicken ... that they aren’t seeing chickens. WHAT?! Why did your office staff tell me when the chicken vet would be at the office and make the appointment?! Thanks so much for wasting my time. Oh, and he told me he wouldn’t charge me. I wanted to say, “I wouldn’t pay if you tried to charge me.” While at the second appointment waiting to go back, a couple was waiting in the front area. Next thing I know, a door to the back of the office opens and a small dog not on a leash runs out of the back and straight out the front door that was open. The distraught couple jumped up and ran out after their dog. I will not return to this clinic.

My dogs are my babies, my family. I do as much research as I can before taking them to a new vet. Casey Laukkanen came highly recommended to me by our current vet at that time (who used to be the medical director of the NW Animal ER) when I found out I was moving to Kyle a few years ago. One of my dogs had a lot of chronic illness and this place was a perfect fit for us. The entire staff is so courteous and kind, and we were there so much that after a while they all felt more like extended family. Dr. Laukkanen went above and beyond for us on many occasions, and kept the other vets in the loop about my dog's condition if she was going to be out of town. I've always been impressed by her knowledge as well as her compassion and kindness (and even her never-ending patience in dealing with me -- I'm neurotic when it comes to my dogs ♥). They helped get me through the hardest thing I've ever had to do, when recently it inevitably came time to say goodbye. It can get pricey, but my dog needed so much care and I've paid similar at other vet clinics. They always bring you an itemized statement before they do anything , go through it with you, and give you alternatives. You have the final say on what you want and what you don't, and they don't pressure you or make you feel guilty if you decline something. They also bent over backwards to accommodate me on many occasions. Christian is the groomer there, who does a phenomenal job. My baby was a special case and more difficult to groom. Christian would always came out to talk to me before each grooming session and book extra time. She was gentle, thorough, and always did a great job. This is the best veterinary practice I've ever found and I will always take my pets to them -- they've earned my complete trust and I respect the way they run their practice and genuinely care about the animals they treat. From my experience over the past couple of decades with different veterinarians, this is hard to find!

Canine Smiles - Anesthesia Free Teeth Cleaning
Canine Smiles will change the way you think about dog teeth cleaning. We don't feed our pets table scraps or people food, but some small dogs are just prone to stinky breath. Over the years we probably spent thousands of dollars on our beloved Jack Russell Terriers, who were with us for 14 and 17 years, having their teeth cleaned at the vet. I was always a little nervous because at the Vet they put the animals under anesthesia and there is always risk in that! I was determined to try something different with our new 4 year old Jack Russell. I bought all the supplies at the pet store and thought if I brushed his teeth once a week, we would never have the problem we had with our other dogs. But of course, it just wasn't that easy! Then I was so lucky to find that the owners of the mobile dog grooming business we use, Perfect Pooch, had come up with a technique to do a thorough teeth cleaning and I could have it done whether or not our pet needed to be groomed at the time. We are "those" people. Yes, the ones that treat our dogs like they are humans and one of the family. It may seem silly, but besides the obvious benefit of our pet's breath being better, taking care of your dog's teeth is one of the keys to a long and healthy life. Beyond the obvious better breath factor, dental disease can actually lead to problems with your pet’s organs, such as the heart. Caring for your pet’s teeth can prevent other health problems as well, saving you tons of money over the long term! We HIGHLY recommend giving this FAMILY RUN business, CANINE SMILES an opportunity to treat your furry friend. :)

    New Hope Animal Hospital
We have taken both of our rescue boxers to this clinic and must say that the care and attention of the entire staff is incredible. If I were a dog or cat I'd choose this hospital. As a human, I truly appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. I think they love my dogs almost as much as I do.

Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Westlake
They were expensive but was better than another groomer we used. They were very professional and on recommendations on foods for the dogs and cats and gave free foods to try.  They also gave free biscuits they made for the dogs. They were nice with the animals and the people.
