I have mixed feelings. He changed his diagnosis and was very nonchalant about it.

I went to Dr. D. Flume for a second opinion. He had an open mind and made his own diagnosis that seems to be the correct one. I should have done that years before because I lost quality of life by not getting a 2nd opinion earlier. I had been seeing a psychiatrist for years after post partum depression during which time she changed my diagnosis to a rather severe one. After years of no progress an...

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
I felt I needed a second opinion after several years of treatment by a different psychiatrist in the same zip. I saw David Flume twice - once for the second opinion and a second time as follow up for the changes he made in diagnosis/ treatment.

Easy Access, Easy to find, free parking, good treatment.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Good Doc, good advice. Very available, polite, kind, knowledgeable. I'm my opinion, one of the best in his field in all of Austin. The biggest issues most patients will have with him is that he doesn't accept insurance company payments. So, you have to pay out of pocket. However, I'm a Doc too and I know exactly why he got feed up with insurance company hassles, red tape, and intrusive, invasive meddling in the doctor patient relationship. I dream of "going off the grid" someday too.
